I purchased a 600w air-con unit in June and had not opened it till September. When I did open it and connected the intake and exhaust pipes it is huge. The dimensions on the box do not state the size of the actual unit. I contacted the online store and told them when i purchased it, they told me to take to the nearest store to inspect the box and… Read more
get a store credit. My wife drove 3 hours round trip to return but the store said yes but the online service fellow on the phone said no. They even sent me a claim code to return it. Now I have a oversized unit that will not fit anywhere and a change of story for the online center AFTER WASTING MY TIME. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO BUY FROM THEM. POOR SERVICE

I recently placed an online order with 4WD Supa Centre for Click & Collect at the Geelong store, purchasing a portable air compressor and a tyre repair kit. My vehicle was parked directly outside the store with an actual flat tyre. I walked into the warehouse/retail store to collect the items so I could fix my tyre on the spot. Even though the… Read more
product was sitting right there on the shelf in plain view, and there were several sales staff simply wandering around the retail area, staff flatly refused to hand over the items. I explained my situation—that my car was literally stuck right out front with a flat tyre—and was simply told to go away and "wait my turn" until the pickup confirmation email arrived. I’ve used Click & Collect at countless businesses over the years and have never experienced such a complete lack of common sense or willingness to help. Instead of providing basic customer support to a stranded customer standing right in front of them with paid stock on the shelf, they prioritized rigid automated processes over basic service. Extremely disappointing experience. I won't be using their Click & Collect service again.

Read about the bad customer service and inability to show accountability and lies. My 1st message was regarding an advertised sale price for a 360w solar blanket for $199 until midnight 6th september (fathers day sale)... as soon as I went to checkout it went up to $299. I messaged them on the 6th and they said the sale ended midnight 5th. I took… Read more

So I wont bother, just thought id let the public know my experience for whatever thats worth. If you want to risk wasting money go for it, but that, straight off the bat... was enough to show me what kind of store your dealing with. I threw the screenshots so you know im not just having a winge lol

Absolute garbage service. Bought and paid $42 for shipping. Their courier threw a lithium battery over a wall and now I have no battery and no refund until they receive the battery back. I have to supply photos of the damage to the box, the battery, including batch number. What a joke! I guess you get what you pay for. Cheap pricing, cheap service. Avoid.

Purchased handheld UHF for a road trip. They don’t do what they’re marketed to do, they are cheap rubbish. I contacted the 4WD supercentre with my problems and was completely blown off by them. 4WD SUPACENTRE sells awnings and tents that dont meet claims of "weatherproof" and "waterproof ", or even "water resistant", and "provides protection from the elements" in advertising on website or on packaging. Defective products returned to Greenacre store, and I was denied refund for faulty products. Staff inspected products later, and called… Read more
to confirm water found on INSIDE OF TENT, from normal installation and use, and they acknowledged legs of awning dont stay up, and are defective. Yet, Ive still endured ndless arguments with senior staff responsiblefor product this company's dodgy claims processes, and they repeatedly hang up calls, to avoid acknowledgement of the justified grievances i had with the defective products and LEGAL ENTITLEMENTS to refund. Staff are CLEARLY trained to deny consumers their rights under Australian Consumer Law, and try to push consumers towards replacement or store credit, to KEEP PROFFITS.. Replacement is NOT an option, as the awning and tent, made from 170gsm material, are found to NOT be effective at being as claimed above, and we had water dripping on us all night, in freezing cold weather, just from condensation - not even rain. 4WD SUPACENTRE has been reported to ACCC for false advertising on product packaging and website, and legal actions initiated to achieve refund. AVOID THIS COMPANY !!!!! EVERYTHING about this company is utterly dodgy, including RUDE, ARROGANT, ARGUMENTIVE and DEVEPTIVE staff conduct, and FALSE product performance claims, and suspicious fluctuating pricing practices.

I’ve bought from this store before with no issues, but their own brand UHF 5W radio was a disaster. It barely transmitted over 2km, while my 6-year-old Uniden worked perfectly. On a 4WD trip, everyone else communicated fine—I got crackling. I returned it for a refund, and they refused, saying the warranty was void because I used a connector for… Read more
the 12V line. They didn’t even test the unit—and apparently believe that adding a connector is “not the way” to connect it. Then how, exactly?
According to ACCC guidelines, they cannot reject my claim. If you want to educate yourself about your rights as a consumer, see: ACCC – https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/problem-with-a-product-or-service-you-bought/repair-replace-refund-cancel
This store clearly cares only about sales, not service. My mistake? Trying to save $100 instead of buying a Uniden or GME.
I am now lodging a complaint with the ACCC. I won’t be shopping here again.

I bought an Adventure Kings 3x3m. What a piece of junk! There was:- A major structural failure: A main support leg has bent and buckled under negligible wind loads, rendering the entire frame unstable and dangerous. I don't think it could have been that sturdy to begin with. It was not even that windy! Fabric Degradation: Numerous tears and… Read more
"thinned" patches have appeared in the canopy after only seven days of use. I should imagine after a while the whole thing would be completely useless.
Safety Concerns: We were forced to cut our trip short and pack up early because the frame was no longer structurally sound.
4WD Supacentre has: Ignored my legal rights: They refused a refund and tried to force a replacement on me.
They refused to refund my original shipping, yet offered to pay for a courier to collect the broken unit and ship a new one, a cost that far exceeds the refund I asked for. This approach is financially reckless, environmentally wasteful, and logistically absurd. It serves no purpose other than to obstruct and stonewall a loyal customer’s legal right to a refund for a major product failure.
I told them I did not accept that. And so they closed my claim without my consent, and then sent a notification that my replacement is ready for collection in Dandenong, VIC!! ...... I live in Tasmania!
I have now lodged a dispute with my bank and a formal complaint with CBOS Tasmania. Save yourself the stress—shop elsewhere.

a 120AH lithium battery, Kings 15L Centre Console Fridge/Freezer, Kings 9” Max LED Driving Lights (Pair), Kings Folding Firepit + Premium Stainless Steel Firepit Grill + BBQ Tools. Total delivery cost for the last 3 items $64.00 The battery on a separate order P & H was $15.00 The last 3 items have been sitting in a depot for the last 3 days with delivery being held up until the battery coming from a different location WA and as of the 15th of August 2024 has not even been shipped. Upon contacting the Supacentre site first via email and then online chat was told that it was up to me to chase down the delivery and they are not obliged to do anything until after the 21st of August 2024. Edited due to great out outcome. Whilst this issue had been sorted once again the 24/7 bot that answers queries defaults to using the company line and is completely impersonal. Hi while we love the kings drawers with the price and availability and good quality we are concerned that the keys for the drawers are all the same. All drawers are keyed alike. Not great when you are anywhere and someone with the same drawers doesn't matter size can open your king drawers. We were camping with a group and tried the keys. Our keys could open their kings drawers. Not great if you have stuff you think is protected.
Ordered 4 double hammocks, one was delivered and the others were lost in transit by the courier. Contacted the store regarding the 3 undelivered items and they contacted the courier while I was on the phone with them. Was given 3 options: full refund, store credit or replace order. I chose to replace the order. I received the outstanding 3 hammocks in less than 7 days. Customer service was excellent. Show reply

I was looking for a small backup fridge/freezer to store my fishing bait fish, then came across Kingz portable fridge/freezer advertised as working with both AC/DC power. powerpoint at home and work. The answer was yes from a store assistant on duty and with no hesitation, I made the purchase. When it's unpacked, I realized there was nothing to plug into the powerpoint and I would need to purchase an adapter to use with it. I took it back, made a claim for a refund and it was rejected by their Claim Department. The excuse was: - There was nothing wrong with the fridge - The answer was not incorrect, that the fridge can work with AD from powerpoint (with the adapter) - The adapter was not mentioned to me, because I didn't ask about it. Now, there's only one option is to take the fridge/freezer back. That's NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Under Section 18 of the Australian Consumer Law, a business must not engage in misleading or deceptive conduct, which includes omitting critical information when a consumer states their intended use. Furthermore, under Section 55, goods must be reasonably fit for any purpose disclosed to the staff member at the time of sale. Telling me the fridge would work as a home fridge while failing to disclose a mandatory $50 adapter is a misrepresentation of the product's capability. Therefore, the store's 'no change-of-mind' policy does not apply, and I maintain my legal right to a full refund of $189.

This kept going a bit before he finally looked up the spec sheet. 50VDC was the answer... it took way longer than it ever should, with answers that clearly show they dont know even the basics... god help anyone without experience that they help put together a system together for. Very similar to my 1st experience some years ago, with a almost gruff 'wtf, why are you even asking, no YOU dont know what your talking about' kind of attitude to what should be trivial questions, a weird mix of frustrating and hilarious when the answers come back the way they do...

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM UNLESS YOU ARE DESPARATE. Their solar mats fall apart after 9 months. Bought 3 of these to realise this. Bought a 110 litre fridge/freezer. The sales staff were good. Freezer went from -24 degrees to 0 degrees in a 24 hr cycle. Lost lots of frozen stuff. Dropped into their Mildura store and was told that it had 5 years warranty. Had to send photos and videos. Did the video, they did not like the video, so made another 3 videos of the freezer not working. Finally got told to bring it in. Took it to Orange store and bought a 30 litre & 60 litre drawer fridges. Orange store would not give us a receipt for returned fridge. They said a cash credit would be done. TWO weeks later it has been a battle to get them to reimburse for the 110 litre fridge that would not work. They say they have reviewed the video footage and state we did not return the unit. (WE DID) It has been phone call after phone to get them to chase it up, on a daily basis. They state they cannot verify we returned the fridge. As if we want a dead fridge in a small caravan Store staff are good. The warranty and claims people are atrocious. You would be better off dealing with Donald Trump, cause at least you know you will be ripped off. You get what you pay for and Kings branded products are not really very good. Maybe the NON electrical stuff is okay. I don't want to take that risk, so have decided never to go back to Kings 4x4Supacentre. Not even if I am desparate.

Super Centre support and they advised they'd "escalate" my order asnd get nback to me in 24-48 hours. I also spoke through online chat and on the phone to Team Global Express - they couldn't tell me the address of the depot, or even the phone number, where my parcel was held up. After considerable googling, I found what was apparently the regional office, and they told me to try 2 different numbers in Tamworth. I tracked the parcel down myself and have arranged a friend to collect. The delivery process has been a debacle showing that Team Global Express are pretty hopeless at, well, delivering parcels on time and advising where my parcel is/was or where I could find it. But it all ended well. After hours of hassle chasing it down myself. Advice to 4WD Super Centre: find a new courier company because the one you have now sucks!
