Slowest internet ever! 12 months of issue with no resolution. Only after mentioning legal action was contract cancelled – The connection was appalling. Do not deserve even 1 star – Do not sign up with this company and if you do and facing problem immediately complain on TIO and get rid of it. Its easy just complain TIO and the company wont be able to fix problem and you ask them to free you from contract. I did same. Show details
Doesn't deserve a single star in the face of the earth; dont go to ACN – Absolutely disgraceful; beyond terrible service. When peak hour arrives; internet speed goes down to 1mb/s...yes thats right 1mb/s. You call them up, and they keep repeating the same instructions over and over again like robots. They 'escalate' your issue and do nothing about it. And of course there's the stupid cancellation fee. Unreal! Show details

Over the next 18 months, Melanie stayed in contact to periodically keep me up-to-date on how the NBN rollout was progressing. Eventually, the day arrived when I could connect, so Melanie made another 40-minute journey and sat down with me to sign up and get things started. Then, when an NBN technician was scheduled to attend between 1pm and 5pm to do the necessary installation, Melanie offered to be my at unit when he arrived (as I was working). This was another 40-minute journey for her, plus the fact she would have to sit around waiting for the man to arrive. She helped him find the necessary places for him to hook things up – not so easy in a block of units – and she also drove to Officeworks to buy a special USB necessary for the connection (which she refused to let me pay for).
Knowing this was the kind of service she gave, I recommended my father also sign up with ACN, as he was thoroughly confused by what other providers were telling him. This was a 75-minute journey for Melanie, to sit down and explain patiently, in an easy-to-understand manner, what was involved. She then repeated the same journey and was on hand to assist on the day the NBN technician attended. Plus my father ended up getting a price cheaper than what other providers had quotes.
I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Melanie DeCull and ACN as a preferred supplier for the NBN. The customer service alone is impeccable and goes way above and beyond what anyone else could possibly offer. So much so, I switched my mobile phone plan to ACN and ended up getting a much better deal.
Great speed, unlimited data extremely happy – Signed up my service through a family member. I Found it slow to start with but we worked with tech support to resolve the issue. it took a few goes with trouble shooting and emailing results to them but I had the same tech support walk me through it. now getting consistent 90+ downloand speeds at peak times. better service then I have had from other Telcos. Stay away or you will pay with your time – Definitely signup with this lot if you want to bang your head on a brick wall, experience 1.5mb per second downloads while your on a 50Mb plan and for them to tell you it's congestion and then when you leave they disconnect your phone number before the port even happens. Joke of a company – Signed up with this company 4months ago. Have had nothing but trouble since- internet constantly drops out and the customer service agents consistently change the criteria for getting it fixed. Despite several calls nothing gets done. And to add insult to injury, they are insisting on charging the full cancellation fee! Surely there should be better regulation of these Mickey Mouse companies. Show details

As bad as a scam – I am a victim of this crap internet. Please don’t get this service. Absolutely terrible speed. Can’t even load facebook contents. contact tech support is a nightmare, long ‘hold’ periods, confusing automated sequence to even get to speak to someone (that’s if you even go through the right sequence of the right numbers pressed), with most of the solutions is “you can go on our website.... blah blah blah crap” . and even if you end up talking to a human, they are overseas fobs which is so annoying because they barely understand you. Believe me, you do not want an acn internet service and this is coming from someone who joined acn with high hopes and really really wanted to support and have a positive outlook of it despite all the negative things being told to me, which makes it even more sad but i realised if my OWN internet service is trash i can’t continue “helping” others by getting the service. told we needed to do more fault finding to which I said "NO, enough is enough" and now they are saying I must pay $400 to terminate the contract. No way, they offered a service and have not delivered it so why should I pay that fee for something we did not get. Absolutely poor quality and today poor customer service. As an ACN IBO I am embarrassed about this and will never resell this to anyone.
Service being disconnected and termination fee has not been waved after lodging a complaint with the Ombudsman.

are not able to take a steady online tutorial classes. We are in terrible situation as ACN has been unable to provide a promised internet speed and we cannot change the service provider due to bond. So use my lesson learnt and don’t get ACN in any way, GO for Telstra nbn for a real good internet speed, which I had and honestly speaking I never ever had any speed issues.

Very unreliable, couldn't watch a single video stream without interruptions, let alone forget about watching in HD.
Finally cancelled the service, will gladly pay the early termination fee. Just had another provider installed and trouble free from day 1!! Free at last!!
I've had IINET, IPRIMUS, TELSTRA and ACN is by far the worst ever!!

My aunt even tried to get me to become a member and sell ACN services to my friends. She brought 2 ACN representatives to my family's home and sat me down at the dining table, telling me it was "only" $500 to join and that I could make so much money and all I needed to do was recruit 2 other people who would in turn recruit another 2 people, etc. - and so the pyramid begins. They literally had a pyramid scheme diagram laid out on the "fact" sheet provided. Don't do it. Don't join. Don't be polite or listen to the ACN recruiters talk about how much money you can make or save. Don't make things awkward between your friends and family when you scream that they could make/save so much money joining ACN.
My family had to suffer using their NBN for 2 months before my dad was finally fed up with his YouTube videos pausing every 5 seconds. We terminated the contract my aunt locked us in and paid the $400+ cancellation fee because there was no way we were putting up with constant lag, buffering and disconnections for another 22 months.
Don't put yourself through hell. Don't join ACN. Even if you love your family, this will never be worth it.
I wish I can can give them rating in minus – Worst NBN service. Too much drop downs in evenings and on weekends. I was with TPG before and was very happy never called them in 2 years but with ACN I think some need to get rid of their job and stays on phone with ACN customer service. Show details

internet is slow, costs more than other companies and if you don't dial the phone number quick enough you get some nonsense American speaking chick saying "the number you have dial is not in service....." just because you take more that 4 seconds to dial a number, no customer service here in Australia, its all overseas .
my advise is to stay away from this company as well, we are looking for a better company and if you are having really great service please private message me, cheers Adrian

Don't even bother to join the NBN under this company, its an overseas call centre and not even Australian owned, can't wait to leave to go elsewhere but locked into a crap contract that is overpriced. If a company like this has to lock in their customers they are really bad, to leave it's like $ 500.00, it's a good idea not to go with this company, we are paying $100.00 for a 25MB/s and I know I can get cheaper elsewhere. Furthermore, we don't get the speed they promised.

Do not choose this ISP – Connected the ADSL as NBN still isn't in our area yet. The set-up process took about a week to get it to work as they didn't have 24/7 customer service. configured and ready to go. I spoke with another customer service member and it took me 1 hr finally set it up.
Our internet speed off-peak is around 6mbps and the bad things is, when someone is using the internet it slows everything down and it becomes almost unusable. Also, the connection keeps dropping out every day. If not at least 4 time per day, maybe 5.
Very unsatisfied and would suggest everyone not to waste their money on this. Saves you time and money.
