This is an excellent product – I have had my Dh24 dehumidifier for 10years and it has never let me down. The motor stops when tank is full. I am amazed at the water it collects from my walk in robe.
We have had our DH16 for about 10 years! We love it – We've had our DH16 for about 10 years. We do look after it. We clean the filter and about every 12 months we take it apart and clean it. We've put anti-rust on the galvanised steel tray at the bottom, and re-oiled the fan journal bearing. So yes, it has required some maintenance over the 10 years. But still working fine and fairly quiet. I only wish we could find another one just like it...

I don't think you can buy these models new any more. They lasted too long and so they stopped making them! Guys we bought ours from have suggested to us to get a DeLongi. But we have not had to do this yet..
Terrible – Unprintable. If they are so reliable why aren't they distributed in mainstream retail outlets? No confidence in it, now sits in unsightly plastic tub awaiting the next overflow. Good theory. Ruined a new carpet by leaking water all over it, twice. First time a poorly designed cut off switch left the tank overflowing. Unit exchanged, "old" tank reinserted.
Second time, no apparent reason, tank was dry, machine running normally, carpet saturated below it for about one square metre.
