Speaking of Apps, there are so many to choose from I'm sure there would be an app that works for everyone.

Some apps are free and some are so expensive. The hardest part is trying to get an app that works for you and the download isn't huge and doesn't have constant updates as this eats into your home downloads if there to big.

Once I was only allowed to download apps that were 20mb or less, for some reason I don't know I can now download on my ipad2 apps up to 60mb.

If you buy an iPad invest in a cover, eBay has lots and cheap good quality ones, just research for the best one.

The downside to owning this is that when apple has a software update it is usually a huge one 1GB or more and for some one who uses prepaid internet this means a lot to me.

Sometimes the internet will get very slow or will not load and then you have to completely shut it down and restart the iPad and sometimes the first or second time doesn't work. Portable, Entertaining, Resourceful and a great time killer Can get heavy very quickly. large GB updates

Apple hasn't changed – Am disappointed by Apple's service. After buying what was supposed to be 4G found it wasn't and was advised that retailers had been notified of this so Apple was no longer responsible. hang on the screen. Updates for ioS uses up dollars on the pre paid card and then did not download or work properly. ( On connecting to computer update would still not transfer from laptop to iPad and needed to be Einstein to get things to work.) Wont link to wifi or Bluetooth would not set up...and instructions via internet are useless if can't access internet??? Bright technology boffins ate work???? Overall cost with stylus and accessories was very expensive and stylus lasted all of a month before the rubber tip cracked. The apps they they sell mostly are rubbish filled with ads and games such as scrabble, backgammon very poor. Is a racket! I will never buy another Apple product!!!! Same happened thirty years ago when I bought an Apple computer ad then found data could not be saved via PC so lost the lot! Twice bitten twice shy! Portability Bad service, lack of information and instruction, poor downloads, tacky apps.

Looks great – We received our 2nd hand ipad 2 16gb as a gift from my brother to my 3yr old son. This is only last year's model yet already is 2 generations old which is funny. android. My son got a leapfrog leappad last year for Christmas so this is only the most logical step up. He no longer touches my phone as he says it is too small. When my son is not using it my husband or myself are on it. We love it. Battery life is good. For my 3yr old it is perfect as big enough to play his games as well educational ones yet not too big that he can't carry it. Downside some of the apps that I got for free from Android like 'angry birds' I had to pay for with Apple. Which makes me think will never buy Apple. Size. Battery life. Screen clarity. The fact we didnt' have to buy it was a gift. Some apps that you would get free from Android you pay for with Apple. Think that that is quite a rip-off.

still going strong – I bought my IPad from, wait for it, Lifeline, in factory condition, and it works perfectly. still going strong after being outmatched and outclassed, and still good for Netflix and YouTube. the only downside is it's rear and front cameras, which are pretty much useless for taking photos as the photos are taken in low definition and are more often than not, fuzzy.  Show details

It's still going – The thing in really admire about all apple products - including the iPad - is just how reliable and hard wearing they are. I've had this iPad for six years and it is still working really well. I use it every day for streaming services, emails, browsing, etc. and it can still handle all of this perfectly even after so many years. Great product!  Show details

Couldn't be without it! – Ok, so it's an older model - but this ipad does everything it needs to do. I watch a bit of TV on it (netflix) and I've had no issues. It's been overseas and interstate with me and it has never missed a beat. Love that I can connect to wifi and also have the option of a prepaid sim. Much Better than Ipad 1 – This device was a gift back in 2016. I had the first generation ipad in the past and this second generation ipad is so much better than the first generation. For starters, battery life is good still to this day and the camera is handy for Skype. Facebook browsing is quite slow but perhaps it has to do with wifi connection rather than the actual device. It works - but really slow now – Thank Apple and for its ever updating of IOS. It was good and reliable when i first brought it - after the IOS9 update, this became really slow and now its just a paper weight. Great for its time – I've had this iPad for many years now, and I still use it every week. The build and design was great, and I have not had any hardware issue in its lifetime. The battery life is also still excellent. Where it is lacking now is in speed, with it hanging when I open an app or close an app, there has been noticeable slowdown in the past year or two.  Show details

Love it to the max – Have this for more than 6 years already. Love it to the max. And ive used it all the time for typing, reading email, great battery performances. But you may need to avoid update all the time, because it will make it slow. I wish that they can continue to give more software update so I can use the newer apps  Show details

Perfect – I had my iPad for a very long time and I have using it for playing games watching movies and reading the new. It is amazing because of the massive screen it includes and also it packs a big battery life. Even after its age it still holds up well.  Show details

Its ok – Bought this couple of years back. Was a really good product back then. Since few other models have been launched after this, now its very slow. It is not fully compatible with new apple software. Good for kids for playing games and watching youtube. Otherwise i wouldn't recommend to buy it now.  Show details

Battery life excellent – Had my iPad for a very long time now and the battery life is fantastic! The only downside is that it takes forever to charge up but the battery is still great! The performance is still very very good and has not slowed down. Dropped it a few times and the screen still has not cracked yet, unbreakable!  Show details

Just keeps on going – I brought the iPad 2 for my son as a birthday gift back in 2013 and is still going with out any issues. It just keeps on going even through it came out in 2011. Got it for a great price and now only thinking of upgrading my son's iPad to never model because it will not be able to take the latest updates as it will be 5 years old this year.

Was ok.... For the first month! – The iPad that I received was great, but only for the first few months. Now I will be in the middle of doing research for my job and it will shut off automatically, my other family members have the same problem. I suggest save up a little more money and do research on specific qualities in an iPad you are looking for, then buy a recent one, hey are fantastic!

Unbreakable – I've had my iPad 2 for approximately four years, and it has been great. It travelled everywhere with me and was my constant companion. It is now "owned" by my toddler. It gets dropped regularly, jumped on, sat on and drooled on. It takes everything she throws at it. The iPad 2 was well-built and great quality. I'd recommend the old iPad 2 over the newer models.

Terrific little iPad – I bought this so I can surf the Internet with my Wi-Fi connection instead of paying data charges, play lots of games, view the shares, watch heaps of videos, view loads of photos, view heaps and heaps of apps and use YouTube for watching videos too. I am so very happy with it and I would highly recommend getting this one instead of an Android tablet because they are a lemon and they break down after 6 months since they are badly designed.

Great device! – iPad 2 is just a big version of my iPhone with out the provisions to make calls and faster. One thing I did notice the other day is being able to make face time calls using the wifi. It is small, light weight, and fast. 12 month warranty hopefully I don't have any dramas. Fast, battery life and portability. As per apple products your restricted to apps from the App Store.

Great little piece of technology, but newer models are better – I've had the iPad 2 for 2 years now and after dropping it a few times, it has still survived and I can still use it. sync. Also the photo quality is really bad, I never use it to take photos because you cant get a decent shot from it. I only use it to surf the net and read books... cant really use it for work cause no mouse and the scrolling of pages makes my head spin after a while.

Great helpful technology – I was very weary to purchase an iPad because I am more of a PC girl then a mac... But I tell you what, it's been so easy to pick up and assist with tasks that I didn't think I'd need a tablet for! APPLE IPAD 2 GLITCHES – my product has been glitching everytime i use my ipad. EVERY THING FREEZES all the time, i open an app and it freezes so i have to restart my ipad 2 everytime, yet it still freezes. THE RESET TIME TAKES 10 SECS to restart. The ipad also heats up easliy so i dont recommend this product :). it freezes

Love you iPad – Uses the iPad for pretty much everything. built quality is excellent. Before i bought this, I got different opinions about Apple being not easy to use, non compatibility with Adobe flash player etc. Well, I have not had any issues because of these. I already own a laptop and iPad is the easiest way to browse, bank, play games, keep an eye on market, read newspaper, you name it!!!! once you go Apple you will never go Back.

Love my Ipad – I have everything Apple and I love my Ipad. It does have a very very slow recharge time and this is annoying so make sure you are charged up before you leave home and take a charger with you. . Best By Far – I have had 3 Ipads and a hand full of Andriods including a Windows Surface and in my opinion the Ipad is this best item I have ever brought. My 64 gig Ipad 2 is my constant companion and keeps me entertained and up to date with what is happening in my world. And no, I am not a Apple bigot exective Im a 60 year old guy that still uses PCs. Ease of use, and super reliable. Ocasionally I get an App that is useless.

didn't love it as much as expected – I had been very excited to receive my iPad, but I didn't love it it as much as I expected. I find the control with finger tip tiring, navigating some of the programs a bit confusing (as its not exactly the laptop version). The size is lovely and screen is great but I am considering whether I would be better off with a mac air. Could be that I am just a bit old fashioned! lovely design don't like using my finger as a mouse

Fantastic! – Wonderful product. Even though I have a laptop, I rarely use it as it seems more work than accessing the iPad! I use it to access the Internet and love the tablet to take to my children's sporting & school events to use the video & camera capabilities. The kid's keep me up to date with the latest aps!
