it's okay – To be honest, I'm not sure why Apple decided to release this product despite of all the popularity with the Iphones during that period of time. It's basically like having an IPhone but not being able to make a call, or have internet data. I was actually looking to buy the original Apple iPod with the circle scrolls in which you move your thumb… Read more

around to pick the songs- what satisfaction to hear the clicking each time it passes through a song. To my dismay it was discontinued and I was running out of storage on my phone, so I had no choice but to purchase an Apple iPod. It functions well and doesn't crash, and it does have a timer and fitness app that I can use whenever I am exercising. So I have grown to love my iPod but within months of owning it I lost it in the city. My life wasn't drastically changed or anything and I purchased a new phone with more storage so safe to say it wasn't really needed after all- the iPod Touch. Hence why it may have been discontinued,

how it performs – the iPod touch 3rd generation has great capacity and is able to do many things as well as staying in your pocket with you head phones in although it has some let downs like the chances of breaking the screen increase if it happens to fall out of your pocked it will not cost you to much to have it replaced , the iPod touches capability to be able… Read more

to hold photos apps etc is good but when trying to take photos it fails really badly although it is still a great item to have holds charge really well, easy to use. easy to break the screen

must have it! – The Apple ipod touch is an essential product. With its awesome features such as the app store, notes, mail and the huge screen, you will never get bored. As it states in the name "ipod touch", it has a massive screen that isn't overly sensitive. Also, it is small and compact so it wont take up much room in your handbag ect. It holds around… Read more

3000 songs so you will never run out of music to listen to. The app store is downloaded onto the ipod so you can just go in and purchase what you want.

All that's left to say is BUY IT. You won't regret it. I like the screen size and the amazing features. The games would be my favourite part. I think that some of the free one are better than the paid ones. There isn't that many. The only thing I can say is that it doesn't have a camera. Without the camera you can't take photos.

Excellent – The ipod touch is a great product, i use my ipod all the time. It is handy when i have nothing to do, I pull out my ipod and use it to listen to music and play games. The ipod is great, you can watch video's, listen to music, play game's and look at all your photos. Even though the ipod I have doesn't have a camera it is still a great product to… Read more

use, my ipod come's everywhere with me . You can take your ipod anywhere, whether your walking , riding or even at work its a awesome product that apple came up with. I can listen to all my music, and play lots of games. The price of an ipod touch can be a little expensive.

Good – My overall review is that the ipod is not the best of the ipod touch range as it does not have a camera and the quality / speed etc, it is an amazing ipod for apps and music. Notes are one of the handy features, as you can jot down handy information such as todo notes and shopping lists. you can download apps via the app store, use wifi,… Read more

bluetooth & listen to your favourite tunes. Sometimes it freezes up or the wifi stops working.. because i have a case on the back of it mine doesn't have scratches but many of my friends say that that is one of the down sides of the product.

OK – Generally it is a good item but now that a newer version is out I would not recoemmend people to buy this. Get the new one as it has better deals You can buy apps from the store, good weight to carry around in your pocket, wifi works well generally. Another review said the back is easily scratched but this is easily avoidable with a back cover. But yes, you deifnitely need a protective cover because it does scratch if left in the bag for ages.

OK – It's fairly good, but in my opinion, the 4th generation ipod touch is much more better, with the video camera and retina display. Awesome picture display, video playback, and internet connection. It didn't have the ability to change the homescreen's background. I found some REALLY cool app frames, but I was disappointed when i couldn't use them.

Excellent – The iPod is a great device, it's basically an iPhone without the phone services. I used it when running with an armband but found it very hard to change songs and see the menus when it was strapped on. I also found it a bit heavy on my arm and noticed the arm I had it on didn't swing as much when I was running. My kids loves playing with this… Read more

and all the educational apps you can buy from the itunes store. Great for kids when travelling or you need to keep them occupied. Wi-fi, email access, buy apps from itunes store, great sound quality, lightweight, easy to use touch screen, easy to recharge batteries, great for kids when travelling Easy to scratch screen and surfaces so I would recommend buying screen protectors as well as a hard case to protect the iPod touch

Good – The 3rd Generation 8gb ipod touch is technically the same as the 2nd generation. The sound quality is decent. However, I reccomend buying a new set of earphones as the original ones are lacking in bass. The ipod touch can be loaded with several useful applications as well as games (most of which are fairly basic like flash games) Very responsive… Read more

touch screen. Great selection of apps. Wi-fi is very useful if you are on the go. Clear sound quality Slow/laggy at times. 4th Generation ipod touch is out with retina display (MUCH clearer). On top of the price, a case is also needed (unless you don't care about the inevitability of the chrome back being scratched)

OK – I probably wouldn't recommend this product to someone now that the Gen 4 Ipod is out. I have a lot of fun with mine but music is a major feature for me and now that thats not working properly, I won't be using my ipod as much. Thankfully I got extended warrenty. Wifi works great, plenty of Apps from the App store. Very slim so it fits well in your… Read more

pocket or bag. Easily locked and unlocked and has a good security feature. The back is easily scratched and can be very slippery but you can buy silicon or leather cases to help with this problem.

It's a strain on the eyes after a while.

The touch keyboard can be very annoying at times. I often miss the space bar and hit the letter V or C instead.

The quality of the speakers are poor at times. Some music plays really well while other music is really grainy and you have to turn it down just to hear it properly.

After 6 months of use my earphone plug has stopped working. I have to hold the plug in a certain spot just to hear the music, if at all.
