Fantastic service extremely fast delivery I bought a washing machine on Friday afternoon it was delivered in Monday morning for free and the installed it and took away the old one also they gave a demonstration on how to use which I thought was excellent so thank you I will definitely buy from again
Best delivery driver ever, professional and efficient and all done with a smile. When I called customer support she couldn’t of been friendlier or more helpful.
Better prices than the big retailers. Got to choose my delivery day and included delivery/set up went smoothly. Delivery tracking and communication was great. They removed the old washing machine with no issues. Not a fan of the tipping the delivery drivers but this was purely optional. Will use this company again in the future.

Couldn't be happier with the service provided. I have a steep driveway with lots of stairs and there were no complaints from the delivery team. It was also great to be able to track the delivery in real time, just like ordering an uber.

The washing machine was faulty, I reported it to Appliances Online and they sent someone to look at it, then replaced it with another machine the next day. I cannot fault the customer service and was very happy with how quickly they sorted this issue out. I will be using this company again.

Useless Mattress Importer. Avoid these mattresses at all costs. Cheap and nasty in my opinion. Any mattress that comes in a box Cannot be great. Floor is more comfortable. Medium Firm is not medium Firm and no help for the herniated disc in my low back. Red Gum sleeper at best. They have Free Delivery but do a Compare the Prices. Hmmmm

forth messages, they were able to rearrange my order, swap it to the white dryer, reschedule my delivery, and even refund me the difference because the white was cheaper.
Overall, the fact that I was able to speak to someone at 8pm and have everything sorted so easily was amazing. The service from the delivery and installation team was fantastic as well. The whole experience was excellent and honestly, you just don’t get service like that anymore. Half the time you’re speaking to a robot or businesses aren’t willing to accommodate things, but I genuinely cannot fault anything. Thank you very much Appliances Online.

demanded photos, videos, proof of install by a plumber/builder and a whole heap of other cr#p you’d want for the tap not the filter cartridge. I’ve replied to check what the issue is actually about with appliances online. Got an auto reply of yet another 3 business days to expect a reply.
Cr#p. Have filed with the bank to get a refund. It shouldn’t be this outrageously difficult to organise a replacement and swap of the faulty one. You can’t video proof that the water smells and tastes like regular tap water!!!

Don't fall for the '5-star customer service' marketing spew. It's nothing more than just marketing. The INSTANT you have an issue they will hide behind their email and refuse to offer any assistance in line Australian consumer standards.
Don't bother buying anything or decent value (or anything at all really). You have other options such as Good Guys, JB HiFi, Harvey Norman; a physical store with actual people. AO, to me at least, is only marginally better than a scam company.
I've no doubt there are other customers that AO have done this to. Like me, you should not only lodge a complaint with NSW fair trading, but also the ACCC and AO's partners. Additionally, 1-star review them here on PR, and also on FB, Google Maps, Trust Pilot, Choice and more.

May. Claimed someone left a voice message (they didn't) and blamed me for thinking it would be delivered on the day I chose. Offered me an inferior product as a swap. To be fair, the ordering process and delivery experience were smooth. Communication was clear, delivery was prompt, and the delivery staff were professional. This aligns with many of the positive reviews you see online. However, our experience shows that this is only one part of the story. Once something goes wrong, the level of service changes significantly.
We are now more than a month into an unresolved issue and have been left without a usable washing machine for the entire duration, with no confirmed resolution.
The appliance developed faults early, including overheating. And most recently, repeated power tripping. While this was already under assessment, the situation escalated when the machine flooded our laundry, kitchen, and nearby carpeted areas, causing property impact.
Despite this clearly meeting the definition of a major failure under Australian Consumer Law, Appliances Online has not provided a remedy.
Instead, they said they will comply but they have: Continued to delay resolution Referred responsibility back to the manufacturer Failed to provide any interim support or replacement Missed their own promised contact timeframes Suggested possible customer fault without evidence from the original technician visits
We were specifically told in their last email to expect contact from a case manager within 24 to 48 hours, which did not occur, adding further to the delays.
Even after we: Formally requested a refund under ACL Provided detailed documentation and timelines Escalated the matter multiple times
There has still been no urgency, no resolution, and no working appliance provided with Appliances Online. This is where our experience strongly differs from the majority of positive reviews.
Many reviews highlight: Fast delivery Competitive pricing Smooth ordering experience
We agree with those points and we were one of them that can attest up to that part. However, those reflect the sales and fulfilment stage only.
What those reviews do not reflect is how issues are handled after purchase when something goes wrong.
Our experience suggests: Product reliability can be a genuine concern When faults occur, resolution can be significantly delayed The responsibility between retailer and manufacturer becomes unclear The customer is left to manage the consequences
What initially seemed like saving a small amount of money has actually cost us more, as we now have to make regular trips to the laundromat each week, along with the inconvenience and stress of dealing with an unresolved issue for over a month. For a purchase of over $1000, this has been extremely disappointing and falls well short of the level of service and support they promise on their website.
This review is written so that other customers understand that while Appliances Online may perform well in delivery and sales, the real test is how a company handles problems, and that is where our experience has fallen short.
We currently have an ongoing case and serious concerns with how this has been handled. Lesson learned for us and we hope others won't have to experience as what we are still going through.
In future, we would choose a retailer with a physical store and more direct accountability, even if the upfront cost is only a portion higher.
We would not trust Appliances Online again for any purchase of this value and less.
Prices are competitive but you just can't beat the next day delivery an d the helpfulness of the delivery team! As my 75" TV needed to come off the wall mount and wasn't ready for the team to take with them, they said phone us when ready so I did, and they made a trip back a few days later to collect the old TV and all the packaging. All included in the original price! I'll be back!
