Good – I bought this unit because I needed a print server on the router. Installation would have had to have been the easiest so far. With other wireless routers I've had to jiggle and poke to get them going, but this worked straight off the bat. Hooking up to the printer was fairly straight forward, but configuring my computer installations to print through the printer was less straight forward. Then I decided to read the manual: Following the steps was a little clumsy, but that seems to be a Windows (tm) thing. Once I set it up properly on each machine, it worked a treat.

The ftp server was a little fiddly, and there appears to be a few contradictions within the manual, the result of bad translation no doubt. After switching it on, the ftp service worked flawlessly. I then tried adding User accounts and ran into a couple of niggly issues (such as blocked access to particular areas of the drive).

The wireless is your standard 54g, with good WPA security and a nice range for the household. It also supports 4 direct LAN connections.

The Web interface is intuitive enough, and upgrading the firmware was an easy matter

All in all, a very good purchase for the price, good features and easy installation. Very fast setup, ftp server, printer server, secure. Gets finicky if you muck around with the ftp too much, user manual has annoying English in critical spots.
