Purchased a 38-inch curved monitor. Lines developed down the screen within 3 months. Contacted customer service as it was well within the 'so-called' 3-year warranty period. periods, they are a big lie. Warranty service in Australia is non-existent. My advice to anyone intending to deal with ASUS - do not touch them. Steer clear and you will get superior products elsewhere.
Worst pc computers ever! Bought one but couldn't be set up - had to return as hardware issue fault. Bought another one - worked for one week then stopped working. Phoned customer support - they said hardware issue. So 2 brand new pc computers with hardware issues! Don't buy this brand.
Warning to Australian buyers: do not factor any ASUS promotion into your purchase decision unless you are prepared to fight for it. As of 17 May 2026, nearly five months after my purchase, ASUS has still not honoured this promotion. card under their Holiday Magic promotion. I submitted my claim within the eligible period.
27 February 2026 I emailed ASUS with my invoice, serial number and photos. They replied asking for clearer photos. I provided them on 10 March. After that, complete silence across two separate contact channels despite follow-ups on 12 and 23 March.
I sent a formal letter of demand on 15 April. ASUS escalated internally and promised a response. Nothing since.
Complaints have been lodged with ACCC, NSW Fair Trading, and CBS SA.
If you never receive the promised promotion, you are simply paying full price for something that was advertised at a discount. That is not a deal. That is false advertising.

I purchased an ASUS ProArt 13-inch laptop in December 2024. Initially, it was running fine, although the battery life didn’t last even half of what was claimed. However, two weeks ago, the laptop suddenly stopped powering on. It became extremely hot, and the power light wouldn’t turn on. Since this laptop is for business purposes, I’ve only used… Read more
it for 2-3 months. I contacted ASUS, but their only solution was to arrange a repair, which could take up to 15 days — potentially longer depending on part availability. This has been a significant disruption for my small business, as we’re now working without a laptop. They also denied my request for a replacement. When I inquired about the data stored on the laptop, the customer representative informed me that it could potentially be lost during the repair process.
I’ve been waiting for the repair pickup since last Friday, and although it was supposed to be collected today, no courier has shown up yet.
This situation is severely affecting my business operations. The post-sales service from ASUS has been incredibly poor and has not addressed my issue in a timely manner. This is my first ASUS laptop, and after only three months of use, the failure highlights serious quality control and reliability issues.
I recently upgraded to the ASUSA RTX 5080, and I couldn’t be happier. From the moment I installed it, the performance leap was undeniable. Games run buttery smooth at 4K with ray tracing maxed out, and the DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation makes everything look stunning without compromising frame rates. The cooling system is whisper-quiet even under… Read more

If you're on the fence, don’t be. The ASUSA 5080 is an absolute powerhouse and worth every cent.
ASUS Your Unbelievable – The good and the bad. If you can put up with the ASUS unservice than the board is pretty good. Let me explain later. The board itself is a solid and not cheap offering. It had everything I needed bar one thing , and it had a minor flaw which is annoying and sent me , under sufferance , to the ASUS support, probably the worse support on the… Read more
planet.
I need a board with a optical audio connection and even though I had a couple of MSI boards their latest offerings in my price range had the optical missing for some reason. This one was on special and made sense, although I noted Amazon have just put the price up .
It's a DDR 5 board supporting a Intel 1700 LGA socket, PCIE 5 on the GPU slot and 4 NVME sockets all at the same speed supporting PCIE GEN 4. The one thing it is missing though is PCIE GEN 5 support for the newer NVME drives.
It also offers thunderbolt card support ,has a 3.2 2X2 C type 20GB connector at the rear and one on the board along with a 10GB type C and plenty of fast USB connections as well. and 6E WIFI.
I fitted a 850W Corsair gold power supply, Corsair Vengeance 32 GB @ 5200 DDR 5 ram , an Intel 13600KF i5 processor, a Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML120L RGB , a Radeon 7700 XT GPU , and a distribution hub for my fans as well .
The reason I went for the 32gb @5200 ram was because there are many reports of Pc freezing because they think anything over 5200 an OC they don't recognise and the same with fitting 64gb of ram . Probably a Motherboard update will eventually solve this but who wants to wait when the faster speed and more ram will deliver barely noticeable improvements in performance. I used a NVME drive I had fitted to my last computer with Windows 11 installed along with all my baggage. I did not expect this to boot considering all the hardware changes I had made, but it did boot.
I had purchased a new key in case Microsoft insisted I could not activate this copy but surprise surprise it activated without the new key . I then did a PCMARK test but noticed it was giving a low score on my NVME drive. After checking I found it was delivering only half speed. I changed the NVME slot but then found it was reporting the drive in the wrong slot .
I got in contact with ASUS , wow these guys know nothing. First reply , you have a US board and you will have to go to the US site for service.
Second reply , you have a US board and this is different from the AU board which we don't have, the AU board has different components and the board would have to be sent back to the US .
Well, what a pack of clowns.
The board appears on their global site, their UK site, their US site and it the same board, same components, same factory and it is also sold on a number of AU sites. This really annoys me about ASUS they don't communicate very well and they will tell you anything to fob you off.
I won't be sending the board back and even though I updated the BIOS it may still be a small error that can be fixed by a BIOS update .
In the end I installed a new NVME , a Samsung 990 Pro 1Tb in the M2_4 slot. This was the slot that the board was reporting my original drive in although it was in the M2-1 slot even though I had originally had it in the M2_4. I thought at first this was a MBR problem but after rebuilding it made no difference.
Low and behold I cloned my operating system to the new drive, it booted and reported correctly the 990 pro was now M2-4 and the SK Hynix P41 was moved to the correct M2-1 drive. The M2_1 slot is controlled by the Processor and the other 3 are controlled by the Z790 chipset.
I retested the board and the 990 pro reported correctly at 7,000 MB/s but the SK Hynix remained at half speed so I have taken this up with SK Hynix.
All in all apart from this problem the board is working fine , although if I strike a warranty issue I dread the thought of dealing with ASUS as in the past they have been less than helpful with setup problems I had with my ASUS router and mesh setup. They have come under criticism from many sources and they seem to have this attitude of it's always the users fault .
THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! – My laptop, Rog flow 13 inch from Asus is faulty (occasionally decides to disable Bluetooth/wifi , etc or play with the keyboard and it's almoat impossible to use it with pen while it's on battery)and the customer service, if you can say if they have any, has done nothing except WASTING my time! Extremely disappointed to see such dodgy service from a well-known brand that used to be one of the best in that field operating in Australia! Show details

Living with the above items, I would have to say the after sales support and updates offered by ASUS and there ROG gaming range is great with the ROG CHAKRUM the mouse is customizable and comes with the ability to be attached via Bluetooth, USB Wireless or via USB cable. I find it great that there is no need to replace battery's in the mouse and the battery life is great I basically only place the mouse on its charger the ROG Balteus Qi Mouse pad once a week.
I have had corsair mice in the past along with one of there keyboards and felt they did not live up to the hype, I'm pleased to say I have been converted and am happy with ASUS ROG range would buy these items again in a heartbeat.
If your looking for a new mouse mouse pad or keyboard by ROG you get great value for money with terrific after sales support.

I am extremely disappointed with ASUS My child attends St Narsai Assyrian Christian College and we purchased this laptop specifically for her school requirements. What has made this experience even worse is the poor communication from customer service. We have received no clear guidance on the proper steps to take to have the laptop repaired or replaced. It has been extremely frustrating trying to get assistance.
I do not recommend this company to anyone. Very disappointing quality and even worse customer support.
have a cracked screen and contacted service to get an estimate on repair cost. They won't give any info unless you send it in to the service center who charge an inspection fee of $50 to $165 to give you the repair cost. Its obvious it needs the touchscreen replaced but can't tell if its worth sending it for repair or just buying something else if they wont even give a ballpark cost.

This is by far the worst laptop I’ve ever owned. My Asus laptop is less than 3 years old and cannot function without being plugged into the charger. other brand I’ve used has lasted well over 6 years. In most cases, I only upgraded because I wanted to not because the laptop stopped working. This is the first time I’ve experienced such a major failure so early in a product’s life.
I expected durability, reliability, and quality. Unfortunately, this laptop has delivered none of that. A possible motherboard failure within 3 years shows serious quality issues.
I deeply regret this purchase and would not recommend Asus based on my experience. Spending this much money on a laptop that becomes unusable so quickly is incredibly disappointing.
Terrible support - I had issue with phone 6 months after buying. Same issue appeared 1 week after 12 mth warranty expired and they said "out of warranty" and then stonewalled me. The worst computer I have ever purchased. I purchase about 8 months ago and it continually turns itself off or shuts down then you need to restart. Bad ASUS experience. TL;DR I wouldn't recommend or buy ASUS again. Not because of the hardware failure but because of the terrible after sales experience. ASUS laptop 1st Jun 2025. After 2.5 months it started getting many blue screen/memory errors. Laptop sent back to ASUS 17th Aug (with ~90MB of screenshots and trouble shooting details that clearly pointed to a worsening intermittent hardware problem). It was returned 1st Sep with ASUS saying they couldn't replicate the problem (so what! - I'd provided 90MB of proof!). After a factory reset and fresh install laptop ran okay for a day or so then started crashing - WAY worse than before - to the point where it would either fail before logging in or within minutes of logging in. Returned to ASUS 19th Sep. Waited 5 weeks and no word. Requested an update 27th Oct, was told the laptop had to be sent overseas and could take a couple of months! I was then offered a refund by the store from where I bought it which I took.
I haven't mentioned the store I bought it from in case people associate this bad ASUS experience with them. I'll do a separate review for them because they have been great throughout this whole thing and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Purchased ASUS TUF GAMING A15 FA507NV in June 2024. It was initially great, as is always the case with a new computer. it was constantly switching from on battery to off with a large notification that I couldn't remove. And an armoury crate notification as well. But the computer just wasn't getting charged. I switched to a USB C charger, which also worked initially, but armoury crate kept telling me it wasn't giving me full functionality. I mean who cares? Some power is better than no power. But now the USB C slot (there are 2, but one never worked at all) is now having the same problems, having to jiggle to get it to work, so I know it's time is limited. I tried the AC adapter again, but the plastic bit that covers the port on my computer just fell out. I have also had 2 screws fall out from the case, for no reason, and I didn't notice until I was looking into why the AC power wasn't working. I have tried to get it serviced a few times but the service site is awful. I sent an email. No reply. I finally got through, but because I have only a limited warranty, I will have to send the laptop away, for an unknown period of time. I live in Tasmania and there are no local servicing options apparently, so even if I had the extended warranty with on site servicing, I would not have been able to access it. Oh and I forgot to add, even more concerning, the power button doesn't like being turned on, it takes several minutes, or more, to try and find the right position so it will turn on. And the fancy lights above the middle of the keyboard that tell me whether it is charged or whatnot no longer appear, so I never know whether it is a power issue (usually not). I am always worried that it won't turn on again. So I started to not turn it off, which worked for a while but now it just turns itself off. ITS A LEMON DON'T BUY AND DON'T BUY ASUS if you live in a regional or remote community
