dutch chocolate is the best after workout drink ever – not a massive fan of reg chocolate but this dutch choc flavour is the best ever so creamy and a great protein hit with real sugar limits"beats any protein powder any of the week"great product

Makes me so bloated and windy – I never knew I had lactose intolerance, since having this drink, every time, after an hour or so, my belly goes crazy, super bloated and super windy with cramps, and this normally lasts for 24h. It's a shame as I really like this shakes, but I cannot have them no more.

Great Drink in moderation – I do like these drinks as they definitely fill the void post workout. My only gripe would be to be aware of the amount of sodium (salt) in these babies. Considering that your recommended daily intake of sodium is around 40mg for the average joe. Most of these flavours have in excess of 300mg of sodium in them. The only exception is the 'Lo-Carb Dutch Chocolate' one (Shown above) which has a little under 100mg in the regular size. I've also notice that in a lot of places this is also more expensive than the other flavours available.

Having a number of these per day would have a massive affect on your daily salt intake, which we all no is not good at all. Just something to be aware of.

Still, do like the regular 'Chocolate' flavour the best. Great Flavours, especially the Chocolate one. Very high in Sodium (salt) and price in various places.

Hi there, I believe you meant to say the recommended daily intake for the "average Joe" is 20-40 mmol of Sodium, which in fact translates to 460–920 mg. In which case Aussie Bodies Protein Revival fits well under the recommended daily intake for Australians. So no fear on Sodium levels - they are completely normal if not under!!

One of the best Protein drinks I've tasted – Aussie Bodies tend to cater a wide range of different delivery methods of consumption, which is what I find perfect in my exercise & dieting regiment. When these are on sale, I would buy a lot of these on the supermarket mainstream stores, any where between 5 and 20. People with busy lives and schedules that try to make use of their time for exercise and maintaining a good eating plan; will often want some sort of variety. As I normally commute to work with a bicycle or when I'm using a home gym, this product is very flexible for my needs; especially when you might find boredom in eating a healthy chocolate bar.

The first downside, the taste of these drinks are not for every one, but then again; when has healthy food truly tasted like every day foods in the first place or as good as an indulgence. For those who are use to drinking non-sugary drinks and end up drinking this, might find that it very suitable for their needs. However for those who are use to drinking sugary drinks, then that's where there might be a problem...perhaps.

And the second downside, it can be very expensive, depending on where you buy them. Which is where I would insist not buying them from service stations as I have found several major and independent branded stations sell.... and at almost ridiculous proportions. The more competitive pricing comes from the mainstream shopping stores such as Coles and Safeway; although a majority of the time, if you're looking for something on the go and don't have time to make a Protein shake; then buying this cooled is going to be a problem. Since Coles and Safeway for most of them, do not cool these sorts of drinks; therefore it probably makes sense to buy them from petrol servo stations, but that's the downside in price and immediate availability. High Protein, Good alternative to bars and protein powders, Quick for busy lifestyles Can be very expensive, Taste (not for every one)

excellent after workout snack – This is a great little post workout drink, it takes the edge of the hunger usually encountered about 30 mins after the heart rate drops. Similar to 'up-and-go' but with added protein for muscle recovery. Effective. but could it could always be a bit cheaper. Good price, tasty and convenient.
