and enforceable - with nothing to reference at their end.

They also charged us for 30m of removal and dispose of old fence - that remained dumped on our verge for several weeks after removal (yet demanded immediate payment).

Retaining is excessive (beyond anything we approved) and FULL of large gaps between bottom of retaining and ground level - basically retaining nothing.

Despite multiple conversations on-site, over the phone, and via email, they repeatedly refused to include our basic design requirements in the quote specifically a 1.5m front corner boundary height (required by council) and a level top.

At quoting stage, the estimator failed to measure accurately or provide any meaningful guidance, simply telling us the installer would “sort it on the day.” Instead, the installer arrived with limited materials, resulting in 650 mm of unnecessary retaining panels on a slope rather than using the obvious 1.8 m panel solution. We were then charged over $500 extra for expensive retaining and a visually unacceptable outcome that did not reflect our requirements. Even the installer on the day said he requested 1.8m panels for the job as the number of retaining panels we are paying for is ridiculous. Customer service has been equally extremely disappointing. Their Sales rep, consistently rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help resolve any issues or answer questions throughout the entire process. Despite clear written evidence on our side, the company has since made claims that don’t align with the facts and provide no supporting proof. We have simply requested that issues be addressed to resolve the excessive retaining - which they have charged us substantially more to include. Aussie Fencing have now sent us the balance invoice without addressing any of our concerns, and actually increased the invoice with additional charges never approved.

To top off all of the above, the General Manager attended site to “resolve the matter” with no quotes in hand (apparently lost in their system), no background knowledge of the job scope, stumbled words when asked why they charged 50% deposit instead of 6.5% - and somehow believe they have grounds to enforce with absolutely no resolution provided to date.

The matter now sits with Building & Energy who are very interested in these breaches, particularly the enforcements division.

Built a gate and supplied 2 posts for us. Ordered 1 X 50x50 and 1 X 75x75 posts, realised once I got the items that I would need 2 x 75x75 instead. elsewhere, buy a new one and keep the incorrect one for a different job.

Make sure you order the exact parts first time as there is 0 forgiveness even when willing to pay the difference in item price.

Quote person did not disclose at time of quotes for 2 of my houses that the gate at my 1 st house would ONLY be installed if we went with the quote for the fencing at the 2nd house. installed - did you not read the fine print on your quote! 2 quotes in conjunction with each other. And then informed that NO contractor wants TO DO SMALL JOBS OR ANYTHING LESS THAN 20 METRES. They were happy to have an installer put the gate in BUT would need to pay more!! Don't think so. CLEARLY they have too much work. We will do the gate and fencing ourselves. Might take twice as long but will be about 10% of cost quoted!!!

Help With DIY fencing – We visited Aussie fencing earlier this year to buy all the materials to clad a 4m gate and accompanying side fences for my son's new property. The lady that served us was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and consequently the job went off without a hitch, even though we had never installed colourbond before.

Great Service with Aussie Fencing and Staff – I attended Aussie Fencing in Osborne Park to order replacement fencing, Melissa attended to my needs, walked me through the procedural steps, had a positive skill set, she new the products, was extremely helpful and courteous and obliging, not many like her around

Colourblond Fencing – I have had a similar experience to Bernie, only my fence has faded patches and is a few years older. It’s very disappointing after paying so much for the fencing. Their Colorbond steel is substandard – I build more than one patio with colorbond steel from Aussie Fencing. After 2 or 3 years bubbles appear on the steel and if you scratch it off it's rusted underneath. Anyone can come to my house and see for themselves, their steel is cheap but the paintwork is not good at all.0404867988 Show details

Dishonest – Would not replace a missing piece after having $3500 worth of fencing delivered. They claimed somebody might have stolen it off the pallet from the backyard. Not sure how far this kind of customer service will get you. Bad form.

My small job wasn't a problem – After approaching other fencing/sheet metal product suppliers I found Aussie Fencing a breath of fresh air. I was wanting to build a small shed for an irregular location and after trying shed suppliers with no joy decided to do it myself using fence panels and framing. I arrived at the counter with the list of what I thought I needed and was gently guided to what I finally loaded up with. AND it all worked

Reward Yourself – If it is fencing you are after then do yourself a favour and head straight to Aussie Fencing! I stopped in unexpectedly yesterday to enquire about a fence panel thinking I would have to order but drove out within 10 minutes with what I needed. The extremely helpful staff and the drive through pickup made it a most easy and enjoyable experience.

have needed but didn't realise you sold. I would have gone to the Green Shed and paid much more. On my second visit I was hoping Alyssa was still working there, Alyssa was, and again I had excellent service and an enjoyable experience. Because the items I purchased were small she went to the warehouse and picked them on the spot. While waiting for her to come back I observed the other counter sales staff being equally friendly, helpful and patient with a number of customers. Aussie Fencing your sales staff are an asset to your company, they so obviously enjoy working there, look after them and they will pay it back in spades.

dishonest company – This company quoted us incorrectly and won’t take responsibility for their error, they also did not supply us with the correct items with a number of items missing Leaving us out of pocket. Changed quote after deposit – I Got a quote to replace 21m fencing from Aussie Fencing. After paying 50% deposit Aussie fencing then asked for more money. Consequently using another reputable company with some integrity.

Complete satisfaction – I required a small fencing and gate install in colourbond. Aussie Fencing explained it was too small for them but happily recommended Retro Trade Fencing. Retro Trade Fencing were excellent on all levels from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. So, thank you Aussie Fencing for your recommendation to Retro Trade Fencing. Show reply
