Australia Post Parcel delivery service. What a joke and false advertising. I was notified that a parcel requiring signature was to be delivered this morning. I reorganised that time period so that I would be here, doors open and myself sitting within 2 meters of that door. Nothing, just after noon, I receive an SMS stating that due to 'safety… Read more

concerns' delivery was not attempted, and that I was required to proceed to my nearest 'parcel collection 'hole in the wall. So, by their reckoning, whatever was perceived as a 'safety consideration' being far too dangerous for their snowflake drivers to venture into, I was required to walk that same area, albeit now over 600m, not their paltry 20m from the open driveway.

Oh, and during that same time frame, Amazon managed 2 deliveries to the same main address. Reviewing the video feed of the parking area, no Aust Post nor Associate vehicle entered the parking area. There are no fences, gates nor animals to negotiate, just a paved open parking area, paved paths and a choice of 2 sets of concrete steps, perhaps that was their concern, unable to choose between either.

They were leaving a schedule 8 drug that required a signature in my letter box or on my doorstep when I was getting it posted! It was so bad my pharmacy had to charge customers extra to get it sent by courier! They are pretty bad! Show details

Customers are paying for negligent and incompetent sorters who send parcels on cross-state and even cross-country trips when they were meant to be delivered just a few suburbs away. Its time the federal government look at replacing the CEO with someone who can take charge of the company and run it as a business instead of a circus. "Sorry about… Read more

that" doesn't cut it when this is happening on almost monthly basis. Then there is the failure to deliver parcels when recipients are at home , even when van is seen and you try to go outside a pre-scriblled card is dropped into the letter box and van has left the street before you can make it to the letter box. Despite the drop in service and late deliveries caused by parcels being incorrectly sorted and loaded on wrong trucks the fees just continue to go up yet nobody at Australia Post is being held responsible.

I live in a rural village, so the Postie drives a Van. With a wave & a smile, always gives a little toot. My eParcels & Express Post envelopes arrive exactly when the tracker estimates. If I'm not home, a photo is taken of the safe place my parcel is in and uploaded to the Australia Post App. Ol fashion service with 21st Century technology. Love it. The photo doesn't quite show that the letter box is next to the van door. Show details

I am increasingly failed and disappointed by Australia Post deliveries. Today is the 3rd time a delivery has been notified as unable to be delivered. I know they did not try. As on previous occasions, the photo 'proof' is taken from the van on the road! (When the delivery attempt is genuine the photo is taken at the door/intercom). Surely… Read more

customers, including sellers who rely on this service, deserve better. While complaints to Australia Post bring apologies, driver's are still getting away with this behavior.

I received a message that driver could not deliver due to gate being closed with a picture of garage door closed. The gate that was open was excluded from the photo. I was just behind the gate fixing my bike. If they had come anywhere near the house I would have heard. I placed a complaint on the app only to find out when I checked on status, that… Read more

it had been listed as resolved. No phone number to call all AI rubbish to ignore your issues till you get bored and give up. When I went to the post office to pick up the next day when I received msg to pickup postal staff totally disinterested. Complain on line and next. I will not buy any products that use Australia Post. I get item quicker from Europe than NSW with proper couriers. To think my tax money goes to this team.

I had a correctly addressed delivery tracking number: 3698K9740670. For some unknown reason the driver attempted to deliver it to a back lane were there is no access to our property. They then took a photo of a completely different back fence and… Read more

claimed that there was no safe place to left the package. The actual front gate of the property was open and there was a safe place to leave the box. I then had to go an collect it from a locker quite away from our house. What was the driver using for navigation? Why should I buy from a company that uses australia post to deliver when I still need to go out and collect the item. I may as well go directly to the store and get it. I buy on line as it means I don't need to travel to collect my purchases.

Follow-up  · How far was the locker? Just under a 1km Was the driver new? No idea Was the street clearly marked? Yes!! It is one of Melbourne's major roads!

employees won't do. - DELIVER!. This does not change no matter how many complaints one makes to auspost and the consignor. Solution just don't collect the undelivered parcel, you will be refunded for purchase and perhaps consignors and auspost will realise there is a cost resulting from failure to deliver to actual delivery address

Follow-up  · Whilst actual delivery rate has in recent days been good. They have as of today managed to deliver one parcel, but failed to deliver another, both from the same sender. For the no delivered parcel they even failed to leave it at a proximal collection point, which to me is not delivery

The lollies I ordered was for my nieces birthday party and now she's devastated today with no lollies for her special day. What's the point of having a same-day delivery option? Shame on you guys.

Used it for 8 years, most of the times there is no issues and is so convenient to have the pick up options when you are not home. App is really good as well, highly recommended to have it if you buy things often online. Wish they even expanded the services and become an Australian online store. Show details

Avoid all Afterpay parcels involving Australia Post at all costs. Their version of express delivery is 5 days and on the site ,it says 1-2 days ....that's business days. Pros: The tracking app is decent. Sometimes delivery is fast. Staff sometimes try to be helpful. Cons: Frequent failed deliveries. Parcel locker deliveries which go to the post office. I am paying the same postage for parcels as the people who get their eparcels DELIVERED TO THE DOOR, but because I do not live in Melbourne or Ballarat, but 300m at the back of a major highway that runs through the little town I live in, I have to go and PICK IT UP MYSELF AT A DELIVERY POINT THAT IS TOO DANGEROUS FOR ELDERLY PEOPLE (dangerous… Read more

steps!)! There ARE couriers in the area that WILL deliver DOOR-TO-DOOR, like Caledonian Transport that ALWAYS delivers to my place, but Australia Post has put DTD delivery IN THE TOO-HARD BASKET. Shockingly bad service from Management, as the local AusPost deliverers have been told NOT TO get out of their cars. This may be cheaper for AusPost, but for us - over 70s - it is A GROSS INSULT! Australia Post. Shame, shame, shame. Once regarded as a friendly, reliable service, they have really let themselves go. Medical equipment ordered from Sydney business [Express Post] took EIGHT days to deliver to NSW mid-coast. Tracking showed that the package left Sydney bound for mail centres north of Sydney only to be returned to Sydney mail… Read more

centres twice and then sent to Ballina before being finally delivered. On top of that the couriers themselves are generally uncaring - no smile or greeting, and some race about town with their music (sic) systems blasting out a horrible noise. Really! No tracking advice is given when a delivery is scheduled or card left when an attempted delivery was made. This used to be standard practise. I suspect that that in some cases the driver doesn't even attempt delivery - just drops your package (and possibly several others) at the local mail centre. I used to have a cordial relationship with the delivery guys in my area. Now I feel that the delivery service is rubbish and I will not use Australia Post unless it is avoidable.

Horrible experience, Australia Post staff yelled at me while because he couldn't wait for more than few seconds. His tone was threatening and seems he was mad at something but showed his frustration on roads in front of Australia Post customers. I hardly controlled my emotions. Tried to complain about his incident to Australia Post but failed because no one picked my phone after several tries and line remained busy. Worst customer services. Show details
