Absolute CLOWN SHOW. Sent me a tracking notification on my aus post app and an email so you would think they would take accountability for said tracked parcel that they contacted me about, right? Nope, it's apparently a star track parcel and I need to call them, yet Star track was bought by Aus Post years ago and their website merged with Aus… Read more
post, including the tracking, so why not the customer service enquiry on the packages? There is no seperate tracking for star track so I have to use Aus post to track but not their customer service? WTF is that! Stop this clown show! They're the same business! Take accountability for my $300+ in prescription medication that has been sent to the wrong state! Unbelievably bad service from the both of you! How dumb are your staff to send a QLD parcel to VIC when they don't even share one similar letter. Stop employing fools that cant read or speak English properly and sort parcels correctly! Merge your customer service instead of doing it halfway with just merging the tracking and website which makes it confusing on who to call! It amazes me that this clown show is still in business when so many better options exist. I used to work in parcel sorting with all my scans logged to my name and not once did I ever send something to the wrong state. There is a serious problem at the Victoria depot with mouthbreathing morons that can't read! This is the final straw, I will now be requesting all of my purchases from companies to use alternative postage services and avoid using Australia post like the plague!
Two parcels were sent to my from Victoria, by the same company. One was delivered on Monday 31 August. the other wasn't delivered. This morning, 2 September, I checked the tracking number for the missing parcel and discovered it is being held at the Victoria Point Post Office. Actually, there are two post Offices at Victoria Point, so Presumably… Read more
Australia Post expects me to waste my time going to both of them to find the missing parcel. No note was left in my letter-box by a driver to inform me that they couldn't deliver. I checked my CCTV for Monday and Tuesday, and no-one, Australia Post or otherwise, came to my home to attempt delivery. In fact, anticipating this behaviour, my front door was left open to show someone was home. Clearly this driver decided he was to busy, or more likely, too lazy, to deliver the parcel, so he just dumped it at the nearest post office. I am sick of this low quality performance from deliverers. I have already informed the sender company that, because I expect future deliveries from them, they must not use Australia Post to send parcels to me. Also, in future I will tell every other company I purchase from that Australia Post is not to be used. I will complain to Australia Post, but I expect my complain will be filed, because after all, I am just one among millions and they have the money for the delivery to my door, so they made a profit from not delivering.
Useless company , parcel ends up at the 2 of the depots where my parcel would of been delivered to my place but instead they send it to another depot and then chane the delivery time to days later then before. Who ever is running these places has no clue what they are doing. Show details

I live in a rural village, so the Postie drives a Van. With a wave & a smile, always gives a little toot. My eParcels & Express Post envelopes arrive exactly when the tracker estimates. If I'm not home, a photo is taken of the safe place my parcel is in and uploaded to the Australia Post App. Ol fashion service with 21st Century technology. Love it. The photo doesn't quite show that the letter box is next to the van door. Show details

it seems australia post in southern tasmania semi regulary send parcels around the greater hobart area after arriving in hobart, and when i enquire about it, they do not answer my question but refer me to contact the sender. -EDIT- after posting this review this is the response i got (see included screenshots) it seems the tasmanian branch of… Read more
australia post are semi regulary working to improve there sorting accuracy, i have not seen any improvement since june 2025.
Customers are paying for negligent and incompetent sorters who send parcels on cross-state and even cross-country trips when they were meant to be delivered just a few suburbs away. Its time the federal government look at replacing the CEO with someone who can take charge of the company and run it as a business instead of a circus. "Sorry about… Read more
that" doesn't cut it when this is happening on almost monthly basis. Then there is the failure to deliver parcels when recipients are at home , even when van is seen and you try to go outside a pre-scriblled card is dropped into the letter box and van has left the street before you can make it to the letter box. Despite the drop in service and late deliveries caused by parcels being incorrectly sorted and loaded on wrong trucks the fees just continue to go up yet nobody at Australia Post is being held responsible.
How inconvenient of the delivery staff who was working to deliver was delivered on top of shoes instead of placed on the doorstep very unprofessional whoever delivered this parcel not I'm going to give them a piece of my mind if I catch them doing this again if I know who is doing this I'm not impressed with how they delivered my package shame on them Show details
I am increasingly failed and disappointed by Australia Post deliveries. Today is the 3rd time a delivery has been notified as unable to be delivered. I know they did not try. As on previous occasions, the photo 'proof' is taken from the van on the road! (When the delivery attempt is genuine the photo is taken at the door/intercom). Surely… Read more
customers, including sellers who rely on this service, deserve better. While complaints to Australia Post bring apologies, driver's are still getting away with this behavior.

I received a message that driver could not deliver due to gate being closed with a picture of garage door closed. The gate that was open was excluded from the photo. it had been listed as resolved. No phone number to call all AI rubbish to ignore your issues till you get bored and give up. When I went to the post office to pick up the next day when I received msg to pickup postal staff totally disinterested. Complain on line and next. I will not buy any products that use Australia Post. I get item quicker from Europe than NSW with proper couriers. To think my tax money goes to this team.
Stated attempted delivery NOT even the right building!! First photo is his ‘attempted delivery’ not my intercom or that of any intercom in my building. Photo 2 my intercom. ClearlyNOT the same. claimed that there was no safe place to left the package. The actual front gate of the property was open and there was a safe place to leave the box. I then had to go an collect it from a locker quite away from our house. What was the driver using for navigation? Why should I buy from a company that uses australia post to deliver when I still need to go out and collect the item. I may as well go directly to the store and get it. I buy on line as it means I don't need to travel to collect my purchases.

Accepts parcels with printed fake postage labels from eBay sellers then demands money from the buyer who has to drive to post office to collect and pay for postage. AU Post clearly have a culture issue which says it ok to be rude and passive aggressive to customers. I was disgusted by how I was treated during a chat today. A rep named "Amanda L" was initially quite helpful, but when i was responding to questions the system was literally giving me 30 seconds to respond before saying "Are you still there?" -… Read more
and this is after I had to look up a reference for "Amanda" to know what the issue was.
After multiple "Are you still there?" annoying interruptions and warnings of disconnection I wrote "Gee, you don't get much time to respond, right?"
Instead of just acknowledging my comment, and perhaps even considering that there could be a problem with the chat session - she snapped back saying "You've had plenty of time, 2 minutes should be long enough!"
The thing was, it was not giving me two minutes at all. Literally 30 seconds. I couldn't believe how disgusting her response was back - assuming that I was taking too much time when I wasn't. Given AU Post actually delivered my parcel incorrectly to another STATE you'd think she'd have some empathy.
A culture that allows that to happen, with staff likely knowing the chat session was being recorded is pretty incredible.
AU Post, you need to sort yourself out - your service is a mess, and it starts by showing "Amanda L" the door.
Absolutely appalling experience with Australia Post. I understand that I chose to redirect my parcel, and I take responsibility for that decision, but the issues that followed were completely unacceptable and, in my opinion, were caused by a major failure in the sorting and tracking process. I ordered a parcel in mid-June to be delivered to the… Read more
Central Coast. Knowing I was going away for two weeks at the beginning of July, I didn’t want it sitting unattended at my house, potentially being stolen or making it obvious nobody was home, so I redirected it to where I would be staying in Taree.
From there, everything became a complete mess. The parcel started bouncing back and forth between the Sydney and Newcastle distribution centres. I’m not exaggerating when I say it appeared to go between the two centres around 10 times. Each time the expected delivery date wasn’t marked as delayed, it was simply extended again and again, leaving me with no idea what was actually happening.
I contacted Australia Post because I was concerned, and a case was lodged. I was told it had been manually sorted and that everything should be okay. I had since returned home, so I updated the redirection back to my Central Coast address through the app.
Despite this, the parcel continued bouncing between facilities a few more times. I checked the case details and it showed as resolved, but from my perspective nothing had actually been resolved. It was still going to Newcastle, even though parcels coming to my Central Coast address usually go through the Lisarow facility. I added a comment to the case explaining my concerns and was again told it had been manually sorted and would be fine.
Then I received a notification saying it was out for delivery, only to discover it was actually in Taree. This was extremely confusing and concerning considering the delivery address showing in the app was my Central Coast address.
I called Australia Post and, after finally getting through to someone, explained the situation. They said they would put a priority case through to the Taree mail centre, although there was no guarantee it would reach the driver in time. Shortly after that, I received a notification saying it had been delivered.
Thankfully, it ended up being delivered to a family member’s house, but this whole situation was completely stressful and unnecessary.
What concerns me most is the lack of accountability. A redirection shouldn’t result in a parcel being stuck in a loop between distribution centres for weeks. I can understand mistakes happening, but the repeated assurances that it had been fixed, while the tracking clearly showed otherwise, was incredibly frustrating.
This experience makes me wonder how often things like this happen without proper investigation or accountability. Australia Post really needs to look at their processes, because customers shouldn’t have to spend weeks chasing up a parcel and trying to explain what is happening when the tracking information already shows there is a problem.
If I only could give ZERO, I would. So, ordered stuff and awaiting delivery, sweet. I got the message the parcel is on board and will be delivered between 1:20 and 3:30, sweet. part of what I need to accomplish time sensitive project. Around 3:50 I got a message "Locked gate parcel will be ready for pick up at your nearest Post Office" had an option see image for locked gate but no image guess why, because the gate was unlocked and open. Anyway, paid 12.92 for delivery that didn't happened, had to drive in peak traffic to pick it up my self, had to wait in a long #ss line and guess what the people in the line had the same issue LOL! I think that Aussie POST is running a SCAM! They are making money, we are loosing money, time and patience. Absolute ZERO for the service that didn't happened at all. Next time they will ask me to fly to Victoria and pick the the parcel my self, what an absolute puff! Complete lack of effort, complete lack of support and complete lack of competency in a simple business of delivering letters! SCAM DO NOT USE!
Quick Update. They AUS POST have asked for the feedback so I did and this his how they have responded to it "The Parcel Delivery Centre have advised they believe the driver had made an attempt but was unable to gain access to the gate." I will say this again this si why you would like to avoid this customer ripping off SCAM CENTRE.
Thank you.

Australia Post Parcel delivery service. What a joke and false advertising. I was notified that a parcel requiring signature was to be delivered this morning. concerns' delivery was not attempted, and that I was required to proceed to my nearest 'parcel collection 'hole in the wall. So, by their reckoning, whatever was perceived as a 'safety consideration' being far too dangerous for their snowflake drivers to venture into, I was required to walk that same area, albeit now over 600m, not their paltry 20m from the open driveway.
Oh, and during that same time frame, Amazon managed 2 deliveries to the same main address. Reviewing the video feed of the parking area, no Aust Post nor Associate vehicle entered the parking area. There are no fences, gates nor animals to negotiate, just a paved open parking area, paved paths and a choice of 2 sets of concrete steps, perhaps that was their concern, unable to choose between either.
