was easy and professional and provided us with even more information to sort out what we wanted to do. After going ahead the time turn around was so quick and everything was so easy. On top of this the installers were absolutely lovely and did such a fantastic job. The main words that comes to mind dealing with this company and multiple team members is professional and kind. We are extremely happy with the result it looks fantastic and of great quality having a yard again after our pup destroyed our real grass has improved our quality of life immensely already! realised that the blinds wasn't what I wanted and asked them to bring them back. I requested a refund but they refused, saying that I signed the contract. I feel that I was misled to sign a contract for something I don't want.

holes, soft and hard patches, and a small area with missing grass. In addition, my reticulation system was end-capped (in all areas, including areas without artificial grass and garden beds).

After weeks of asking AOL to look into it and after numerous broken promises, I had to contact the central/main office in Adelaide. The next day, they sent installers to fix it. However, they only repaired the reticulation and the most visible wrinkles. (they didn't have any material, grass, sand, etc.)

They said they would come back to fix the other defects, put a patch of grass where it's missing, and level the sand (because half the grass has too much and the other half has none, since they lifted the carpet and the sand ran and concentrated in one half of the installed area). THEY NEVER CAME BACK. It's been almost a month already.

If I had a time machine, I would choose someone local (smaller), save $1500, and avoid so many headaches.

Once again, I am very disappointed with Australian Outdoor Living and won't use them again.

2nd Patio/Carport installed by AOL Perth. We are very happy with the end result and the installers on the day, same ones that installed our 1st Patio. They take great care to ensure a quality build. One of the most professional companies I have dealt with. Bought our blinds mostly for the Western sun but the amount of rain they keep out due to the quality is exceptional. We wanted outdoor automated blinds that were insect proof and reduced rain and wind into an alfresco area at the back of our house in Sydney. We used AOL as they came to us with all samples to choose blinds and discussed options. We got free install and discounted pricing. be a problem with smells from dog pee. I would use the L**R word but will content myself with saying he was being more than just economical with the truth. 3 phone calls and a narky email later we have still had no response from AOL nearly 7 months later. Over summer I paid out well over $500 in deodorants and disinfectants for the lawn, and was treating it twice a week. And to think I used to complain about having to mow the grass once a month!. Do not believe their salespeople, do not use their product.

 Follow-up  · These blinds are great in the winds, we do roll them up in big storms as per recommendations. The sun protection is great, we chose a lighter colour so it wasn’t too hot. The blinds are super easy to clean with warm soapy water a soft broom.

No-showed on appointment made weeks before, stayed home from work for it. When called 20 minutes after appointment time told me they cancelled the appointment as they didnt want to deal with council requirements. Was never informed, person on the phone was very nasty about it and didnt care... "just the messenger", very poor. Stay away.

We recently had zip-blinds installed and the process has been a disaster. Lack of continuity in regard to information received, and after sale service has been a real issue: 1. a mistake when AOL measured up resulted in extra charge, when larger post swapped out for smaller size post. 2. installer had heated argument with AOL office staff… Read more

regarding removal of existing post. So we then had too many posts left behind.

3. initially informed tiling could be completed after installation only to be told that blind tracks will need to be removed for future access purposes at an extra cost of $550 and that this would not occur for at least two weeks.

4. Contacted office and spoke with general manager to voice our concerns who has attempted to solve future cost incurred.

4. after rainfall we detected water leak coming out from blind-header box. Office staff blamed this on gutter despite there not being any issues prior to install. Reluctant to send anyone out to check unless remaining 10% was paid, despite work not being satisfactory.

5. Instead of sending installer back out to check leak, we received an email stating 'not our fault' that water is pooling and flowing into blind-box.

Very stressful experience. Do not proceed with AOL.

he measured. He is FIFO with specific days available. [Name Removed]'s attitude 'too bad, too sad'. Apparently [Name Removed] came when none was home did measurements (no vision of visit on cctv). We were given install date, ordered skip bin and were set to go. Surprise, surprise, [Name Removed] rings morning of instal to say installer I'll will have to be after Easter!! We were not happy but again his attitude was 'too bad, too sad'. Reception staff and young lady quote 10 star service. So called manager [Name Removed] lets whole team down.

company ourselves to get updates on the expected arrival time. It felt like we were chasing information rather than being kept informed as customers.

Once the installation was completed, we noticed several quality concerns:

- The blind panels look completely different from each other. One panel is significantly darker while the other is lighter and more transparent, making the installation look mismatched. - This variation was never explained during the sales process, and we could not find examples of this appearance in the photos shown on the company's website or social media. - There is a noticeable gap at the top of the front blind, which affects the overall finish and appearance. - The new blinds also have visible with same damage in only 1 day and some damage on the frame.

What has been most frustrating is the lack of customer support after the installation. I contacted the office to discuss these issues and request a resolution, but my calls were not returned and my emails went unanswered. I then contacted the sales representative directly, who advised that a manager would contact me. Unfortunately, no one ever called or followed up.

We had a deck and blinds installed and were told on multiple occasions that the blinds would sit flush with the deck. Unfortunately, the final result has been very disappointing. throughout the project that there was very poor communication between the different trades involved.

Overall, the experience has given the impression that the company acts mainly as a middleman, applying significant mark-ups on materials while subcontracting the actual work to tradespeople who you pay. with very little coordination or quality control between them. Whilst the deck issues eventuality got fixed the blinds did not... for 20K really disappointing
