I had an issue with the chair and contacted the store regarding my concern. I spoke with Mike, who couldn't have been more helpful. A replacement part for the chair was ordered and since I was unable to visit the store, he liaised with the manufacturer to have it repaired in my home, all under warranty and for no additional charge. Old-fashioned service at its best!

back up when I relax. It was not like this in the store. I called and asked if there was anything I could do and was told that they could only help if I came into the store (I have no car and it's very far) but that the only thing that can really be done is to reduce the tension knob to the lowest setting, which it is on. They mentioned that it might be because I am too light, though I am average for a woman and the product lists a maximum weight but no minimum weight. Additionally, I submitted a review of the chair on the Bad Backs website, but it hasn't been published. I now have a $750 chair with a 5kg dumbbell attached to the back so that I can lean backwards with relative ease... for the price of the products they are selling this is pretty poor service.

Good delivery times – My father just bought a Humanscale Liberty chair in leather and we were told by someone from one of their stores (prior to the online purchase) that the approximate delivery time of the chair was around 3 days. Chair arrived exactly 3 days later so no complaints!

Excellent product and service – Made a purchase some 3 or so years ago, a zero gravity armchair to help with my chronic back pain. The chair does its job so well it puts me to sleep! Recently contacted the company with a small issue with the upholstery and the Manager went beyond the call of duty to rectify and ensure satisfaction, couldn't be happier with the service, happy to recommend product and service. another 2 hours of wasted time fiddling with cables, swapping cables around. This is disappointing and is totally counterproductive. So far I have not been able to use this desk and will be returning this as soon as possible. That will mean a 3 hour round trip with the trailer. More wasted time. been more helpful. I'd shopped around trying to find cheaper alternatives and even though some other chairs looked the same, they didn't feel as comfortable or well made as the ones at BadBacks.

The second major purchase was an office chair from the Sydney store for my boyfriend, we'd shopped at Officeworks and the chairs felt great, but the reviews were horrid (despite the products being AFRDI Certified). The chairs at BadBacks had much more support and the prices were comparable.

I've since purchased 3 more products from the Sydney store (mattress, stand up desk and shoulder brace) and will be a customer for life. I never considered myself having bad posture, but since I discovered this store, my posture has increased greatly and my back and neck pain has been gone. I am so much more efficient at work and my energy levels have risen. It's also saving me a lot of money at the physio!

It's good to do some research on the online store to see what products are available and I strongly recommend visiting a store so you can test to find the right product for you. The staff have a wealth of knowledge and Jonathan in the Sydney store was particularly helpful.

Also look out for the super discounted 'show room specials' when they clear stock as there are some bargains to be had.

Regarding the delivery times, the staff were very transparent with the delivery time frames and there were options for items already in stock. The desk chair took 3 weeks as promised and the mattress was delivered LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER ORDERING!

Finally I can lie in bed! Fantastic bed wedge range – I couldn't have asked for a better solution; I recently went in for surgery in my lower back and was bedridden for a number of weeks. Bad Backs had a Bed wedge & leg support that was perfect to help me stay supported in bed - I could not have survived without them. I ordered online, and the products were delivered within 2 days, very happy!

Slow delivery – Desk took 24 days to arrive. I had to fetch the chair myself after 2 weeks. Many delivery commitments were broken. The products and service are good, but don't expect to see your desk or chair until a few weeks after payment.

changed size for the chair which is true. However, changing size was 5 weeks ago and past over three weeks from given ETA without any explain. Beside, the man said chair is already in the store and it's ready to go. So reason of delay is because desk not chair. I cannot understand why this guy keeps blame to my changing chair size about delay. This guy is just pointing one spot and loudly repeating to say something that has no logic and meaning then just wishing his customers to miss their chance to complain. Yes. he's quite old fashioned sales man.

I asked to my money back but this guy just refused my request with very unprofessional manner. This old man must lives 19th century him self and never understands what fair trade mean is, nor what rights of Australia consumers are.

I hope this is a good chance for him to learn what country and century he lives now.

one spends a lot on an office chair. We were really impressed, so I bought exactly the same chair. They just sent it to me in a box and refused to set it up for me. I specifically asked them to set it up, and the unhelpful person I spoke to said that they were short staffed and couldn't do it. Now that we need a new chair for our home office, I am going to a different company. The company I am going with, Stretch Now Group, are super helpful and only too happy to send out someone to do an ergonomic assessment. Spend your money elsewhere for a much more positive experience!!

Bully Customer Service for Return of Goods – I recently bought a mattress topper to find the cover has serious faulty stitching. This company uses bully tactics with it's consumers and pressures them to accepts the return under their terms only. They even have the audacity to want to charge me a 20% restocking policy if the topper is returned.

I have checked with the Office of Fair Trading in Qld and they are obliged to remedy the situation. In respect to faulty goods, it is a consumers right to choose between a return, repair or exchange. So far...they are not meeting their obligation as a retailer in respect to Refunds on faulty goods....very disappointing. Suggest you do not deal with them as their Refunds and Exchange Policy is unfair and unjust and their customer service people make it difficult for you if you have an issue with their goods. All in all a very appalling company to deal with. This case is going to the Office of Fair Trading and possibly Consumer Affairs.

From a most unhappy customer. By the way....I am not happy to be giving them a rating star at all but one cannot post a review unless you do.

met the male store person who told me he would match the price. Of course I wanted to buy from Badbacks as they had been so helpful. But when I called up to place the order the female worker was there and told me they didn't give discounts and even if they did the price quoted would be without arm rests. I explained what the other staff member had told me but she declined.

So in the end I got all their help for free and bought the same chair (with arms) for $200 cheaper just down the road.

Their loss. knowledgeable staff, they let you try stuff out for free. Expensive and not competitive.

But as soon as I purchased another same product from ebay, I realized the ebay one not only was super new but also 13 bucks cheaper. pillow with a dip in the middle, so could lie on your back with thin bit and lie on sides with thick bit. Very friendly and helpful. The mouse not in stock. Ordered. A few days. THe mouse is amazing. My right arm feels better after a few days. The pillow was the wrong size for me, so after lugging home and back, they were totally OK to exchange and help with the right size. Highly recommend! They are also trialling sunday opening apparently, so call first if you want to go Sunday to see if they still are. Helpful and friendly service and open returns policy. Maybe a few dollars more than could find online, but well worth it for the service.

They where very attentive and just so helpful i cannot praise them enough i am so happy and will recommend them to anyone with a bad back they are like living angels. only negative is that there isn't a store here in south Australia.

Good – great products all in one place, and helpful people in the store....not pushy at all, which makes a nice change.. I have lived in the USA for 16 years and this type of store is really common and it was great to find such a product range finally here in Australia...the range is just great !!! some of the stuff is from Europe and really unique too which I had not seen before not open on Sunday, but we planned our visit on Saturday, so no big deal.
