Baygon Do It Yourself Exterminator

below average – I bought one of these packs from franklins supermarket in north rocks Westfield nsw thinking they were going to be the bees knees as baygon spray was excellent only to find that were still fleas on the couch / I would not recommend this product and I would advise spraying or using powders instead @ i was not a happy camper with this product

Useless – I have used a different brand in the past and will have to do it again after using this useless product.Not one dead cockroach yet I kept seeing the same amount the weeks after i let the bombs go off. Save your money and time and use Mortein or hire someone to do it for you.

This product does not work. Fact – If "the results I want" (as mentioned in the blurb) are to save an infestation of bugs from certain death & waste my time and money, then this product more than delivers. Seriously.. I followed the instructions to the letter, and left my kitchen closed up for 3 hours, rather than 2, only to open the door to find not one single dead bug. Appalled.

Still have bugs and now I can't get a clean floor! – I usually use Mortein but thought I'd try Baygon. Didn't kill all the bugs and now all our tiles are slimy! I've tried just the steam mop, mopping and bleach and my tiles are still slimy!!! This product was a waste of time and money!

Doesn't work 100% waste of money – I freaked out when I saw 4 mini cockroaches in my kitchen so I bought 21 cans of this do it yourself exterminator. I have only ever had a flea problem before and Mortein bombs cleared those up easily so I expected an easy fix here too. Ugh, it killed nothing.

There was literally a bug flying inside my kitchen that had been trapped inside during the whole process. There are living spiders still enjoying themselves in the corners of my garage.

The cockroach problem is WORSE THAN EVER. I bombed on Friday and today is Saturday night - I was seeing approx 4 roaches at night and tonight I killed more than 20 with a hand held spray.

I am really furious.

I am guessing the only living things that I managed to poison are the mammals - my husband, myself and our pets.

I have ordered Borax from eBay and I contacted an exterminator who I am hoping will give me quote on Monday - needless to say I won't be using bombs for roaches ever again. NOTHING Dangerous poison, annoying tab to remove, ABSOLUTELY DOESN'T WORK.

It didnt work, What a waste of money – I set 9 cans off in my house i covered every section of a small 2 bedroom unit eg. 2 bedrooms bathroom, indoor laundry lounge room n kitchen hallway n they were walking on the roof.... I set 2 cans in the kitchen n 3 cans in the lounge room I still have the same problem as before they have gone everywhere after i set the cans off there in the bedrooms n bathroom as well... Absolute rubbish! – I will be honest in saying we have a bad cockroach problem. the recommended 4 x 4 room size please note I set the 3 bombs in this room, depressed the cans and let it work it's magic. There was so much mist you couldn't see the walls, so thinking I won the war I left and returned 2 hours later only to be floored by the lack of dead bugs and even more so to see them still walking around as though having a stoners party in the kitchen. This product is complete and utter waste of money and time

Pathetic – We set off these we used 9 in a 4 bedroom house and garage and yet the place is still as infested as when we started. I am very disappointed. making it harder to push it fully to relase the pestiside and 2) the liquid shot onto me. 3) The "fine mist" soaked through all the newspaper we put down (plenty, as I was worried this would happen) and we found the product had soaked onto the carpet and other possessions. 4) Two of the four hadn't released properly, they were still 75% full (again, we'd followed the instructions, and the cannister appeared to have been :"set off" like the others). I couldn't believe we'd bought this product, followed their directions and ended up with a faulty product that soaked our stuff and didn't even do what it was advertised for. We still have bugs in our house. Complete waste of time and money.

Wonderful Product – I sprayed under my home and garage last year and the bugs that show up don't last very long at all - 12 months after the job was done...good on you baygon! Cost effecitve and did not cause me any allergic reactions. I am hypersensitive to many sprays.  Show 2 replies
