Pros: Reliability, DVI and VGA, Good picture quality and response time.
Cons: The appearance now is getting old looking
Overall: Bought this monitor 6 years ago and its still going strong without a dead pixel. It was my first flat screen and I was very impressed with its abilities that i bough another Benq monitor, (the next monitor up) for a dual monitor setup. If you pick one of these up at a second hand place or ebay you'll be surprised at its quaility and reliability, which is hard to find in this day'n age of throw away technology. Great work Benq
Overall: Has analog and DVI inputs to suit wide range of graphics cards. Have had it for 1 year plus. Very happy with performance. Great contrast. Back light failed after only 18 months. After reading other reviews seems it was just bad luck for me. easy setup and adjustment.Has analog and DVI inputs to suit wide range of graphics cards. Good response time for games and reasonable contrast and colour accuracy. Good value for money. Light base, could be unstable in open areas where it was susceptible to being knocked. Contrast changes quickly with viewing angle so not as good for multi-person screen viewing as CRT
Overall: Pros: Have had it for 1 year plus and it is exemplary, good contrast, brightness (I can even read it albeit washed out with sunlight on it!) and no ghosting at all.
Cons: None I can think of other than you can now buy a 19" LCD for less than half of what I paid for this one!
Overall: Excellent value, quality and performance for the price paid, no regrets.

Overall: I changed from 19" CRT to 19" LCD with some trepidation but was pleasantly surprised with this monitors performance. Saved me heaps of space, gave me a larger viewing area (LCD screens are a little more truthful about their size) and apart from the viewing angle issue has been a dream to use.
Pros: Crystal clear imaging, razor sharp text reproduction, rich colours.
Cons: Limited range of tilt adjustment, feels a little "top heavy", i.e. a metal (heavier) base would be an improvement.
Overall: This is a great monitor! Text especially is pin-sharp, making it very easy to read. In fact the monitor's clarity in general is excellent and is very easy on the eyes.
My only gripe would be the contrast - although BenQ claims a 500:1 contrast ratio it doesn't look it. But to be fair it may be that I've just been spoiled in the past by CRT's generally superior contrast compared to LCD's.
Installation (including drivers) was quick, easy and presented no problems whatsoever.
I would have scored this monitor a "5" but for the slightly dodgy base. A 19-inch screen really requires something heavier.
Good, reliable performances, sharp images, large viewing area and power built-in design to save desktop space, are all essentials to 19" LCD monitor users.
The BenQ FP937 Silver is designed with all of these features in mind and perfectly meets the needs for users who consider essentials are what matter most.
