On Sunday 18th January 2026 I purchased these for $52.98. On Wednesday 21st January 2026 I just received an empty box with nothing inside it so I chatted to customer support who are refusing to replace the items for me so I would avoid this company because they are fraudulent scammers. Show details
I placed an order on 30 July, clearly shown as in stock. After weeks of silence and chasing, I was told it would take another 2–3 weeks. This company knowingly lists items as “in stock” bieng australian operated business when they are not in Australia, stringing customers along with repeated excuses and empty apologies. Their communication is slow, vague, and unhelpful. Instead of taking accountability, they push the burden back on the customer to cancel and wait for a refund.
This is not just poor service, it’s outright misleading and dishonest. Wasted over a month of my time for nothing. I strongly advise avoiding this business altogether. They cannot be trusted to deliver what they advertise.

On Tuesday 15/7/25 I verbally placed order and followed by email for the battery and made online payment. Then I received on Thursday. response was quick, friendly and very efficient. Item arrived following week and proved to be quality product which appeared to be exactly like the battery it was to replace. On all levels, product quality, value, company support and service, they get a big tick from me.
Follow-up · No problems, still very pleased with decision to purchase from Better Bats. Battery was very easy to fit and performs perfectly. Even though the website said “in stock” it was referring to stock in China with a warning it would take approximately thirty days for delivery, which was spot on. Follow-up · It is now a month since installing the battery into the old iPod. I followed instructions found on YouTube. The battery worked straight away, charged up normally and continues to be trouble free. I'm very happy with the purchase and support of Better Batt.

that they have people not robots providing customer service. They were well informed but also double checked my questions to ensure the battery would work with my camera model and also checked that the charger was suitable and that I could also use my existing charger, if I chose. The charger works from mains electricity and from a car and is very affordable. I noticed that Betterbatt's return policy is very generous however do not need to use it as the batteries and charger work very well and arrived within a couple of days. I definitely recommend this company and now have the use of my camera, thank goodness.
Great customer support – Elcana responded promptly to my enquiry about why my Dell Inspiron 15 3576 would not recognise the replacement battery supplied by Better Batt. meantime I was able to contact Dell customer service who also took me through a series of steps until they agreed that I needed to replace the battery. I explained I already knew this and asked for a replacement battery, After a period of waiting on hold they explained that this laptop is no longer supported by Dell as it is over 3 years old. I should source a battery from a third party. I explained that I had tried this but my Laptop would not accept anything other than a Dell part. She was unable to help me with this. My Dell laptop also refused to recognise the replacement battery from Better Batt So finally Elcana suggested I return the batteries and she will arrange a refund. She suggested I try another supplier who might have batteries with a different chip. As you can see Elcana's support and sympathetic and patient advice was flawless, I would highly recommend anyone to use them as a supplier. But as for Dell...... What was even more amazing was that the cost of buying the battery from Better Batt was actually almost $10 cheaper than buying the battery from an eBay seller in China (which also would have involved a delivery time of almost a whole month). Even after the purchase was made, Better Batt kept in contact with me to ensure that delivery had been made by their courier partner. Delivery was within four days despite massive delivery backlogs out of Melbourne due to COVID-19 restrictions. Furthermore, Better Batt offers a 400-day warranty on their replacement batteries so you can't get a better deal than that! They will be my first stop if I ever require another replacement laptop battery, that's for sure.

Batteries lasted a very short time. Purchased two replacement batteries for two laptop computers in January of 2023. After charging to 100%, Battery 1 held charge for less than 5 min upon installation in Computer 1. suggestions as to how the company could improve it's customer service. And never heard back from them, despite a follow-up email. Better Batt obviously has no intention of honoring the charger's warranty. AVOID this company and make similar purchases on, for example, Amazon.com.au, where Amazon will if necessary, stand behind an Amazon marketplace purchase.

I then used the new charger to re-charge the "dead" re-chargeable battery that I was told was beyond further use and it charged normally in approx the same time as did the new battery.
