Cons: Poor poor design with all the results as mentioned above
Overall: Sold to me as being the winner in a choice consumer test (unverified by me). I must explain that I had my mind set at a Dyson which I had at home and now had to buy a dust buster for work.
I was solely going by the advise of the sales person and by the fact that they didn't sell Dyson, didn't check any of the features before buying, however the small size when folded also made me buy it.
The dust container is positioned sideways, collected dust will continually move up and down like a mouse in a wheel. The space between the filter and the wall of the dust container is only small and bigger chunks get stuck. When emptying you need to either use like a spoon or a screwdriver to free those.
The filter housing has holes in it, suck up something like a staple or a paperclip and again it gets stuck.
Dust gets stuck between the flap that is supposed to close off the nozzle.
Anytime you fold or unfold the dust buster, dust or dirt will fall out, pretty annoying when you just sucked it up. The filter is absolutely hopeless in a way that you a. need to clean it regularly and b. you pretty much need another vacuum to suck all the dust out. It clogs up in no time.
Maybe the worst design flaw is that all the air outlet holes are on the bottom of the handle, anything you try to suck up first will be blown away turning the cleaning task in and cat and mouse game. I suggest anyone who seriously is thinking of buying one to take a hand full of confetti to the shop, throw it out on the floor and then get the sales guy/girl to suck it up. The battery as mentioned by the sales guy lasts longer then that of the Dyson (back then) but it surely looses power over time. eg. it will suck on full power for say the first 5 minutes and then will loose suction. The other thing I don't like about it, but can live with is that there is no wall mounting charging dock.

Pros: Reliable. Small. Easy to carry, empty and use. Pink!
Cons: 2 years without a problem.A little on the expensive side, but its worth it.
Overall: I originay bought this to use in the car - the pull out nozzle makes vacuuming between seats and in those hard areas to reach a breeze! It has excellent suction for a small unit, so easy to empty and takes up minimal space. I have used this to clean out computer towers, its that good! I love the pivot action adnd the fact that it folds up (being pink is also a plus!).

Pros: • great power – 18V
• folds up, vertical stand, takes minimal space
• easy easy easy to use
Cons: none yet for what we need it for!
Overall: My first dustbuster – earlier opinion was that these are mostly gutless wonders, but this is the beez kneez. Gets a quick run for about 4-10 minutes most days on average, great suction, easy to slot back into its recharge stand, such a great thing to have on demand. This time of year we get the pesky influx of small moths, grab the dustbuster and go hunting!! :D

Cons: costed a little bit over $109 but thats okay

Hi, I only own an 18v but I would recommend the more powerful 18v over a 12v, we've had ours for several months now and I am still very happy with its power. (my approach is get the best available whenever possible!). hope that helps. S
