It's had a good run, over 10 years and has only just now died – We had never heard of Blanco before we bought our machine and it was a discounted price due to a dent. We bought this machine over 10 years ago and it hasn't missed a beat (until this weekend), however I'm happy to have had over 10 years of it working without fault. No problem with the cycles, clothes always wash well. I love the child lock… Read more

function on it. Really no complaints of it in the time we've had it. We're now just wondering if it's worth getting it repaired or getting a new machine.

stopping on spi cycle – we are having the same problem our machine is 8 yrs old I don't know if I can get it fixed 2016.Shocking - constantly trips out my electricity when it comes to spin. Also, very shaky and moves around the floor.Took out an extended warranty, but out of warranty now..

Very good – I have had my Blanco front loader washing machine for 9 years now and been very happy with it. I just think it would be a little better if there was a cycle that washed in cold water longer than the quick wash. The blue inlet hose has now got a split in it and we are currently trying to replace it. I wash all of the clothes on the 30 minute quick… Read more

wash including fishing clothes and have been very happy with it. If the hose can't be replaced I will be considering buying another machine.

Great Washing Machine! – Great washing machine. Very efficient and washes great. Some cycles are longer than other but that is the point of efficiency and a good wash !

Electronic problems – Shocking - constantly trips out my electricity when it comes to spin. Also, very shaky and moves around the floor.Took out an extended warranty, but tradesman cant find what's wrong. They need to take it away to check it but it "rights" itself several hours after tripping out. It's a nightmare. Thought it might be the electrical system in my house… Read more

but have just moved house and it's doing the same thing. Nothing in particular Trips out the electricity 3/4 of the ay through the cycle.

You will have a split in your blue washer tub to pump hose on the underside where its not obvious to the technician.

Never buy Blanco – Terrible, shocking washing machine ever!!!! Thank god I took out the extended warrenty. After the 6th time the service person came to my house, his assessment was that I basically bought a very bad prodcut and advised to by a new machine. For the amount of money I spent I expected much better, the last two years it stops in the middle of washes,… Read more

at times the door does not open, and now stains my clothes, and the build up of mould inside of the rubber part of the door is shocking. I am buying a new washing machine tomorrow, never buying Blanco products again.

a bad product

Terrible – Will NEVER EVER buy a Blanco appliance again, due to poor quality and non existent service and support. Cost to replace motherboard was nearly the same as the cost of a new machine (which we bought) Everything. Door kept getting stuck, clothes not washed properly. Motherboard went after 3 years, it took 6 weeks to get a part for the door switch which was the initial diagnosis, then told motherboard gone. Service terrible and rude

Terrible – First service was 2 days out of a 2 year warranty that was six months ago. Have now been told the drum and bearings have gone and will cost from $650 and up to fix. Will never buy another Blanco product again. We went from a top loader that had lasted 24 years to a front loader to save on water. We like the 30 minute wash cycle. The wash cycles are too long. Takes me all day to do a couple of loads.

Happy with mine – Had frontloaders for 30 years and when my faithful old Hoover gave up, I wondered why I was so anti-top loader. So I bought one. A Fisher and Pykel. I had it 3 years too long, ended up giving it to my daughter. Bought the Blanco when the Govt was giving the $100- water saving rebates about 5 years ago. I've had faithful, untroubled and… Read more

efficient service since. Cloths come out bright (again) and I'm happy. Yeah, instructions are rubbish and definitely not intuitive to use but I liken it to a cranky but efficient housewife. The normal (long) cycle isn't a problem because I set it to wash in the middle of the night. The variable timer is fantastic. And when you get the hang of it, there's a hughe range of cycles. It's like owning a foreign (French)car. variable wash delay, great wash and huge variety of cycles. 2hr 22mins 40degree 'normal' cycle. Too long. That can be reduced to 1hr 20mins which is still too long.

Terrible – Would not recommend.Good ideas but very poor quality item. Would never purchase a Blanco washing again. There must be something better avaialble on the market. Good ideas. Inferior engineering and workmanship Purchased this machine three and half years ago. A total disppointment. We were in the middle of a draught and the water saving option seemed… Read more

ideal. However since the cycle takes two hours and twenty minutes your power usage is goung to be high. In order to eleviate this long timeframe I used to pre-set to do middle of the night washes until it become too loud. All the time there has been intermitant problem with the door and despite cleaning inside regularly there is a problem with fluff particulary on socks and knits. The machine broke down three months ago and I was quite pleased as I thought we could dispose of it only to find we had taken an extended warranty out. So after three weeks inconvenience they installed a new mother board. Now three months down the track it has broken down again. My delema is do we repair again something that dosen't always wash properly or purhase something else.Unfortunately we have another eighteen months warranty and I have already had enough.

OK – Purchased through online auction and not much information was available on product at the time -'caveat emptor!'.Works ok overall and fingers crossed (after reading other reviews)we'll get a couple more years before something blows - 2 years and counting. I wouldn't ever buy blanco again. Spin cycle is great.Hand and Wool wash cycles work well.… Read more

Way too long on normal cycle.Lost manual and impossible to find replacement copy (after hours of online searching and retailer phonecalls.) Inside seal mildewed where water sits and can't clean (no affect on clothes so far). Cleaning the machine is time consuming (vinegar wash cycle when 'gunk'appears every month or so).

Terrible – This machine is a piece of crap. I will never buy Blanco anything again. At $874, I expect more than what I got!!! What a rip off!! Blah blah blah Nothing except uses less water than toploader! Only one cold wash cycle- woolen. Doesn't use your hot water supply, heats all water which costs more money! I have solar hot water system so… Read more

especially in summer hot water is piping hot yet this machine will not use it instead will heat cold water, utterly stupid.

Door very poorly made now scrapes on outer enamelled body.

Inside of door and rubber seal always accumulating lint and scum etc, hard to clean.

Why cant they have lint filters in front loading machines?

After 3 years this machine doesnt work on most of the wash cycles. Today I'm trying to get my clothes out so I can take it to the dump, the door wont open ,it wont do a wash cycle, very frustrating!!

Wash cycles way too long, spends a lot of time just doing nothing between different parts of the cycle, Why??

Terrible – The worst appliance I have ever bought. Good riddence to good rubbish! Having also recently used some Blanco dishwashers in holiday houses I would never buy another Blanco anything. My clothes consistently came out dirtier than when they went in. There was no hope of even a light stain being removed. You can't open the door if you have wet hands… Read more

(no handle) and I've never had to clean a washing machine so much in all my life. The bellows are constantly full of slime. I've had the repairers out three times in three years and now the bearings have gone which means it is dead. Thnk goodness we took out an extended warrenty!

Excellent – Overall I was very impressed when using the unit. It was simple and easy to use and it is gentile on clothes as well. The two year warranty is reassuring that the washing machine is built to a decent standard. The high spin speed also allows me to put the clothes in and they can come out really dry and only need an hour on the line to dry… Read more

perfectly. I have had a wonderful experience with this Blanco washing machine and will be purchasing the new model soon. Washes brilliantly and is quiet. No detergent marks left on clothing either unlike some other popular brands.

Good – Great machine but as with electronic appliances in Oz, you need to look after the electronics with a surge protector. Smart little unit. Good wash. Fast cycle. Spin Length of full wash

Terrible – Blanco cannot understand problem, we are sick of ruining our clothes and the accusation that it is our fault, you should just be able to put clothes in machine, put correct liquid in and press go! Not have to put filters on, do vinegar washes etc etc etc. Give me a top loader from F&P anyday. Uses little water as we are only on tank water, that's… Read more

about it! Everything else, has machine for 6 months and clothes began getting brown/grey stains all over, repair guy said we were putting too much washing liquid in (did what pack omo pack said!!) need to do bleach/vinegar in 90 degrees wash every week to keep pipes clean??? No cold wash, so all our clothes have run and shrunk, door keeps getting jammed shut, takes way too long for normal wash, staind DO NOT COME OUT.

Good – We've had our new Blanco machine for about 3 months and are very pleased so far. It has far more wash programmes that will ever be needed, but too many is better than too few. As with most machines, it has a "rapid" wash button that knocks about 30 minutes off most wash times (and without reducing the wash quality). The 1200rpm spin speed gets the… Read more

clothes very dry. We looked at Bosch machines when looking for a new machine, but decided on the Blanco as it actually looked better (not an important consideration for most people, but it was for us). It can sound a little noisy during very fast spin, but still much, much quieter than our original LG. Washes well. 1200rpm spin speed gets clothes really dry. Door opens up a full 180 degrees. Only 2 stars for electrical efficiency.

Excellent – Had some minor problem with motherboard but then I bought it through ebay via auction via old floor stock. Had it a couple of years. Very happy. Powerful spin. Lots of cycles. Good quality. Easy to use.
