straw. Fortunately I'm handy with the tools and have replaced all the parts myself without having to pay a technician, as everything happened as soon as the warranty ended. If I had to pay someone to do the repairs, I would have sent the oven to the dump years ago, just wouldn't be worth it. But fan motor on Ebay is around $95 delivered and I have to pull the oven apart again to replace. That's the final straw for me. Going shopping today, get myself another brand oven.

I bought the oven as part of a package - oven, rangehood, hot plates & dishwasher. Hot plates thankfully still work, but mark very easily. Rangehood filters don't capture oil very well. Oil vapour collects on the bottom of the fan motor and drips onto the top of the rangehood tray, makes a mess. Light lense brittle, snapped in half when I tried to remove it to replace a blown globe, expensive to replace, so I just left it off. Dishwasher doesn't get a lot of use, but so far ok. I purchased Blanco because I thought it was a reputable brand. But it's build quality is cheap and nasty, it's unreliable. When I first moved into my house, it had a 10 year old Chef oven that was still going strong. Only reason I replaced it, was because I wanted a built in oven when I renovated the kitchen. The Blanco didn't even last 2 years before the problems started

Rubbish - Poor Quality Oven – The oven door leaks badly even after replacing the hinges every year. The leaks result in the adjoining cabinets getting stained. The oven cooks very unevenly. the hinges of which Blanco must be aware. However the original claim for new hinges was made about 3 months outside the warranty period and was refused by Blanco. Really poor backup service from a supposedly reputable company. The gas hot plates and range hood bought with the package are also rubbish but they are not causing damage so they can stay. For me BLANCO products are poor quality. Save your money and buy something else.

Good looking works well when element not broken – Purchased this oven and spent quiet a bit of money compared to others, then only had trouble after year 1. Purchased this oven 4 years ago and have had element after element go ( 4 at a guess) and now another, never have I had so much trouble with an oven. Buyer be wary – Blanco Electric Oven....2 years works well. Year 3, new heating element cost 50% of oven purchase price. Year 3.5 same thing. In short, they last for 3.5 years. Buyer be ware

An under-performing appliance – In the two years that I have used my Blanco oven, I have had 3 new doors, 2 replacement hinges, for condensation problems, and although the service calls have been excellent, I have found that for 'real' cooking for a family this oven does not do the job. I have been told to cook on the 2nd bottom rung and at 180 degrees, this is unacceptable. I have asked for an upgrade.

Rubbish! – Don't buy any blanco appliance ! Door doesn't shut properly- heat escapes - thermostat broken after 1 week - unhelpful and rude customer service department and now the stupid thing won't heat past 90 degrees ! Just out of a lousy two year warranty and I have to try and get someone to try fix it ( if that's possible ) - Looks good

Lasted 6 Weeks! – I had the blanco oven for six week before two of the internal glass layers shattered. this is a unacceptable and i hope the warranty and Havey Norman replaces this quickly. it make me wonder if i want a replacement or a new brand because it might happen to the next one. bad built, cheap.

Rubbish – I have had a Blanco oven for less than 4 years. The element has gone and I have waited 9 weeks for service to be told to day they have no parts for the oven in Australia. The oven is cheap quality and the service does not exist I would not recommend Blanco products. Complete lack of after sales service

Stunning cooking ability but easy to use – Purchased as part of a cooking package from SA Appliance Warehouse in Adelaide. I have been very pleased with the oven, it cooks great, it's easy to clean, the glass on the inside slides out easily! Cooking is excellent, cooks evenly when you want it to. Cooks unevenly (YES UNEVENLY) when you choose to as well which is good for pizzas! You don't need to cook with the fan either which is a delight. Cooks great.

Oven meets my expectations – Cooking oven ability is superb. No complaints and it cooks evenly. The splash guard on the fan is a great protector for it. The cooking functions work very well and give you a wide choice in how to cook. The fan assist function is very useful and fan forced works evenly. SA Appliance warehouse have them for $999 which is cheaper than most places I have seen. Cooks great.

Such a Brilliant Oven!! – This oven cooks great. I dont do lots of cooking but everything cooks well in it. I have not been impressed with an oven like this before. I like cooking with no fan as well - doesn't dry out everything. Build quality is high. The oven is a bakes enamel which is better for cleaning and doesn't scratch easily.
