Usually buy everything online. Went on a rare shopping trip and walked by a Bonds outlet. Found a pair of trackie pants that fitted well. Sales lady was very bubbly and excited to tell me they were on sale. How exciting! Wore them once and they stretched right out of shape in under an hour. My kids lived in bondsuits as babies in the 80’s. My… Read more

Will never buy bonds again! Have always been a loyal customer of bonds, however. Recently all the socks and jocks are just rubbish prone to holes within weeks ,unlike the days of old ! Am wondering how a company can possibly decline so rapidly .

Having bought Bonds products for many years I can speak from experience of the continued decline in Bonds products over the years - especially in the quality of men’s underwear. They used to be a good product but since being manufactured in China the product is cheap and nasty. The cotton used in that product is so flimsy and thin that you wonder… Read more

if the underwear serves any purpose at all - you may as well use tissues. Google the purpose of men’s underwear and you will find that the Bond’s product doesn’t deliver. Don’t waste your $$ on this inferior product.

I have been buying bonds for years. I buy online and get it delivered. They are very efficient with delivery. I gave them a 4 star simply because I have noticed though still well made the quality of some items are not as good as they used to be. These boxers are soft and well made. Show details

Used to be great. Now cheap and nasty. Elastic waist band used to be 4 cm wide now reduced to 3 cm. The fabric used to be thick and now is so thin it feels like stocking fabric. Why Bonds would destroy such a good product is beyond comprehension. They have sold out their brand in the hope the loyal customers will tolerate this downgrade and… Read more

repurchase on a reduced cycle as they clearly won't last as long. Wrong. This will be the last time I buy Bonds as there are certainly better alternatives given how far they have lowered the bar.

I recently bought a 5 pack of Bond’s Men’s Hipster Briefs and was disappointed with the downgrade in the elastic waistband. They used to have a 4cm thick band, but have now reduced it to 3cm and feels like it has no holding strength on the waist. I have been a loyal Bond’s customer for over 40 years, and have sadly seen their product quality… Read more

luck. I now find out that Bonds has changed their sizing (is the new sizing to fit small Chinese/Vietnamese people?). The quality of the materials used is very poor & thin as well. It deteriorates after a few washes. I have been wearing Bonds products since birth (I’m 65). My parents grandparents & my children wore Bonds products. So disappointing & a shame that was once a great company has degenerated to producing rubbish & it’s not cheap.

Follow-up  · I upsized to size 20 & have found them to be the previous size 18. Bonds men’s singlets seem to be shrinking in size too I bought them at Woolies but if thrown out receipt before I washed & discovered size change

I know bonds gets a bad rap, but i've found many of their products are actually quite good! they wash well and last, especially for such a low price. sometimes, you will come across inconsistency issues. sometimes, the underwear style is the same but when it comes, it's a complete different cut and material feel, which can be frustrating. and… Read more

sometimes they discontinue items i really love. but other times, i'm surprised at the good quality. their 40% off sales are awesome. i just wish for their clothing they will be a bit better with sizing, like not everyone is model height (so pants are usually way too long, or shorts will sit funny on an average height girl).i hope they look at their reviews and make further changes and improvements.

Just want to say I had the most fantastic customer service experience at the Bonds Bayside store. expectations. He took my details and called me back the next day as soon as the store opened like he said he would and organised my items to be held at another store to be transferred to my address for free. I went the next day to the Frankston store and the lovely staff member Bee was also so sweet and welcoming and finalised the transaction for me. Within an hour I got notification that my items were being sent with Australia post. I’ve never written a review before, but the customer service I was shown was incredible and the two staff members deserve recognition for their genuine customer service. Thank you so much Noel and Bee from Bayside Bonds, I very much appreciated your help and was impressed with how kind and great at your job you are. Will definitely come back in store to see you again!!

Track suit quality has declined dramatically. Quality is total garbage. Trackies purchased over the years would, with minimum wear and moderate washing, get six or seven years of use. I have had very satisfactory experiences at the Bonds store in Robina Town Centre QLD. However, today (1 pm,18 May '26) at the Bonds store in Paddy's Markets (Sydney NSW), I had a less-than-satisfactory experience. duty, black, size L), it was right at the back of the rack, in a corner, behind other non-t-shirt items. There was visible shop soiling along the edge that had been resting on the clothes hanger, and worse, sitting on the clothes hanger for so long, a hole had been worn through the fabric on the tip of the shoulder. I took it to the sales assistant, who up to this point had been ignoring me, and I said this was what I was looking for but this one, obviously, was defective and I would not be buying it. She did not seem interested, shrugged her shoulders, and went back to what she had been doing. She did not offer to try to find one for me in saleable condition. I will not be bothering to visit Bonds at Paddy's Markets in the future.

I am shocked a product like BONDS has gone downhill. Quality and width of elastic on underwear’s in hardly few months has stretched. Also they have made the waist band elastic smaller to save money! At the end of last year, I purchased quite a bit of clothing for my elderly mother from Myer. Among them were six pairs of Bonds Cottontails Full Briefs (which is all she has ever worn). I would have bought more but it was all I could get in her size (22). I am now glad I was not able to get more because it has been a very disappointing… Read more

purchase. Within eight weeks of purchase, three of the pairs developed holes in the fabric and were coming apart at the seams. I examined all the briefs I purchased and noticed that, according to the labels, the ones made in China were the problem. The ones I purchased that were made in Indonesia are fine. When you compare the fabric they are made of, there is a distinct difference in quality of fabric which was not apparent until after laundering. Needless to say, I am very disappointed, given that I paid $17.99 per pair, which is not cheap. Bonds used to be a good product when they were made in Australia. Such a shame they compromised the quality by moving manufacturing offshore. I do not expect to pay $17.99 for cheap rubbish from China which deteriorates after a few washes.

I placed an order on the Bonds website and after nearly two weeks it still hadn’t been shipped. I had to chase them up myself, only to be told that they couldn’t fulfil the order and would need to cancel it and issue a refund. they knew they couldn’t fulfil it, they should have contacted me and processed the cancellation proactively rather than waiting for the customer to ask. It makes you wonder how many orders might just sit there if customers forget about them — which is very common with online shopping. Payment gets taken, but no goods are shipped unless you chase it up. Really disappointing experience and very poor order management.

Has anyone else noticed a decline in the quality of Bonds underwear? replacement. This is typical of companies these days. Reduce the quality but hike the price. This way you have to replace your knickers every three to six months as opposed to nearly three years which earns them at least six times more the profit, probably more, simply by reducing the quality of the product. This is a well known marketing scam that started over a hundred years ago with the light bulb - they figured out by reducing quality and ensuring the light bulb burnt out faster than the original bulb did that sales would increase and since then companies all around the world have copied this business model . I'm disappointed that Bonds have followed in the same footsteps. I believe this marketing technique is very dishonest.

Terrible service and ordering. This will be my one and only time I buy from the bonds website. It’s been over a week and my order still hasn’t been processed. delay and they are getting processed as quick as possible would go a long way in reassurance but no, not even that!

I rang them today to find out what’s going on with my order and was told the Black Friday sales were popular and it’s taking some time to get the orders outns they are working overtime, how laughable. Definitely not good service. I wish I had read the reviews before buying from this company. I definitely would have gone elsewhere but never again.

I thought buying from a well known brand that’s been around a long time, they could be trusted but nope.

I have been buying bonds for years. Just out of habit. You see the undies half price at coles or woolies and think it’s a bargain. Both for me and my son. Here’s the thing: the cotton is very low quality (just look at the weave and thickness) and the elastic always begins to give out after a month or so. After about three months, they're basically… Read more

saggy and faded and you have to throw them out. I bought some more expensive underwear (three times as much) and did a comparison. The weave of the cotton is at least twice as dense and the elastic is three times thicker. Side by side you can just tell how cheaply made the bonds undies are. I waited for the sales to get the expensive undies (they were $30 for three, because they were less than half price—$70 for three at full price) but they are so much more comfortable (night and day!) and look so much nicer than bonds. Seriously, that tighter weave and thicker and broader elastic makes a huge difference—and your downstairs is worth it. I expect they will last at least three times longer, just from the look of them. I could be wrong but I doubt it. Bonds are incredibly poor quality these days. I reckon they just rely on brand recognition and people being in the habit back from the days long ago when they were alright. Fifteen bucks seems like a bargain for five. But if you have to do that every couple of months, and you're not even that comfortable, it's not a bargain.

1 Star (would give zero if possible) My experience with BONDS online orders has been consistently terrible. It genuinely feels like no one is actually processing orders. issue almost every review says the same thing: no processing, no communication, extremely long delivery times. For a major brand this level of inefficiency is shocking. Where most online retailers can process and deliver orders within a couple of days BONDS is still taking an unreasonable amount of time just to start processing. It’s beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable.

If you need your order within a normal timeframe, don’t bother. Nothing changes here and clearly no one is addressing the ongoing problems. Very disappointing experience from a brand that should be doing much better.

Soooo disappointed over the years! Goodbye Bonds for men. Many decades of purchasing instore and then online. Quality has gone so far downhill it's embarrassing to wear the Bonds label. Thin crappy fabric and waist bands that stretch, dry up and quickly disintegrate! Also have become ridiculously overpriced beyond justification. I'm so disappointed with the quality of Bonds Ladies Cottontails. I've been buying these ever since I was old enough to buy my own underwear (I'm 75 now). Bonds were loved by everyone. Australian cotton like European cotton is the best quality . Your decision to make your items in others countries like China & India has destroyed the quality standard. Going cheap to make money and not keeping a standard will cost your brand in the long run . also Who gives work overseas denying your own in Australia of work & creativity .????
