months to take off the rear panel clean all the dust off the fan and coil and unblock the drain pipe - check in the inside at the back of the freezer that the drainage hole is clear - ( take off bottom rear panel piece from inside freezer to access.) If you are not using the ice maker remove the maker from the freezer too.

thought it was ok bought new food got home with the food including a turkey not working couldnt do anything about it for 4 days it was xmas man came again manually defrosted it said it is stuffed basically we now have to wait for a decision from warranty insurance

Disappointing quality – When we were looking for a new fridge we were impressed with the large drawers & thought that being a Bosch it would be reliable. We could not have been more wrong! 5 years old & was repaired at a cost of just over $700. Fifteen months later it failed again & was sent to be repaired. After refitting the board, there are more issues with the fridge as it is still not working satisfactorily. The freezer runs at about 4 degrees. We have been using it as a fridge! The fridge runs at about 15 degrees.

We have been advised that it probably not worth fixing. We were expecting lot to last a lot longer than 6+ years! Putts us off purchasing Bosch products!

Very disappointed – I just love my refrigerator however has just come out of warranty by months and now the compressor has gone. quality of shelves very poor – would be the most disappointing fridge I have owned (and I'm 50). Shelves, or more specifically the plastic edges to the glass shelves are very brittle, all have cracked and hence hang down at dodgy angles with the broken edges making the fridge look very down market, and me anxious for the day they finally expire and spill their contents. the door shelves have similarly all cracked at the same point in each, a clear design/materials flaw. I have a similar size F&P fridge which has had a similar working life but it is flawless, and without any of the Bosch pretentiousness which i guess is what we have actually paid extra $ for rather than design or build quality<sigh>

Terrible product quality and atrocious customer service – 3 and a half years ago we purchased a Bosch from The Good Guys after our trusty Philips fridge died after 30 years of use. 5 months in and the Bosch freezer began to produce frost. fridge - you should have de-frosted it before I came'. This was not communicated at the time of booking and the fridge developed frost 5 months in so I had no idea it was meant to be frost free. At my own cost I sought a second opinion from a non-Bosch affiliated technician who found the thermo fuse faulty, which caused the frosty freezer and the failure to cool the fridge properly. Bosch customer service insist I pay a technician call out fee for the tech who refused to examine the fridge (due to the frost the fault he was supposed to fix was causing) before proceeding, which is absurd considering this fridge is completely failing to deliver the acceptable quality and performance expected of a high cost whitegood. All I want is for the fridge I spent over $3k on to simply work properly and Bosch refuse to repair without a call out fee. Extremely disappointing disregard for basic consumer rights or general customer service.

Worst Fridge freezer I have ever purchased – Plastic doors shelves keep breaking, including the over priced replacements from Bosch, This appliance failed to refrigerate my food properly,alarms going off periodically, the external surface of the doors are discolouring even when following manufacturers instructions. I think I might have to take it to the local tip and start again.

Whats up with the plastic surrounds on the trays – No problems apart from plastic surrounds of Glass trays. Plastic has become brittle and has disintegrated on two trays. Clearly something wrong with the plastic. To rub salt into wound only replacements on offer appear to be new glass shelves. Nothing is wrong with the glass...I just want the plastic frames!!!!

Never buy Bosch again – Had it just over 3 years and in first 2 years had the water solenoid for icemaker and chilled water replaced twice under warranty and today had the evaporator fan replaced out of warranty ($360) and tech had to drive an hour to us because Bosch wont talk to our local repairers so they refuse to work on Bosch. Great design and features Keeps breaking down and only nominated Bosch repairers will work on them.

Great product, highly recommended – We've had this fridge now for almost 5 years. In all that time our Smeg appliances have continuously broken down compared to this fridge that just keeps on trucking. Nice looking fridge – Fridge works fine, looks beautiful.. Can't even use the water or ice maker as I live in units and it is going to cost a couple of grand to get it all connected (as concrete wall behind). The fridge is practical, however some of the plastic inner door holders in the freezer have started to snap, they seem brittle? Nice to look at Expensive, poor quality plastics inside

Great fridge but dont expect it to last – I purchased this fridge for the Main reason of being a BOSCH which is a known brand for its reliability. expect it to last 10 years. Build quality internally is not that great either, plastic is suspect to cracking. Also fridge is acutally built by Daewoo not Bosch.

If it had a longer warrenty and lasted longer I would of recomended it but because of the issues and poor warrenty for its price, I highly would not recomend this product to anyone. Great looks. Worked well when working. Ice production excelent. Poor warrenty. Failed after 2 years just after warrenty ended. After sales support not good enough especially for a big brand like Bosch.
