Can the machine be paused to add washing after the cycle has started? I always find something I should have added after the machine has started
Diane asked on Jan 4, 2012
I am afraid not as it's a front loading machine and water will flow out if ever it allow you to open the door half way through the cycle.

I realize that the water would run out of a front load washing machine, was informed the the newer models DO have the option to stop to add items this would obviously happen on a cycle when there is no water in the machine

My bosch is 18 years old and don't has the pause function - i just switch off on the wall - depending on the waterstand often nothing comes out - or I switch to pump to lower the waterlevel and start on the same position again - works any time

Our clothes smell after they have been washed
philip asked on Dec 28, 2011
I have not encountered this problem with my clothes. Perhaps you need to check with the manufacturer if there is a defect in your machine.
daphnevoon replied on Dec 30, 2011
This may be due to mould that is forming in the door seal. I wipe the inside of the seal with a cloth after every wash and keep the door open for some time for the seal to dry. This may help.

Installation instructions state that the drain outlet must be between 60 & 100 cms above the floor. Why???
lindsaytemby asked on Sep 21, 2011
The machine is pumps the wastewater out via an inverted U shaped drain pipe that is designed to drape over the edge of the laundry trough. If the height is too much the pump may not have develop enough pressure to get the water over the inverted U. If it is too low there is a possibility of back flow into the machine if there is a block in the trough.

how can I open the fluff filter?
Wolfgang asked on Aug 19, 2011
There is an opening tool that came with the machine. Use one end to flip open the filter door at the bottom right in front. Then turn the filter cap slowly and making sure you have a container under to catch the water flowing out. I have used the machine for over two years and opened the filter to check when I was moving house and there is hardly any lint caught there.
