Pros: Had no brake downs in 5 years
Cons: The bowl is way to small, I miss not being able to wash my blankets or quilts, what a shame
Overall: The only thing wrong with is machine is it's to small, I love the 15 min cycle for brand new clothes before you wear them for the first time.
But this machine can't take anymore than 2 single fitted sheets & 2 pillow cases at one time,
The sales man said you can fit 6 towels in this machine, yeah sure..you [censored word removed] artist, if you do put 6 towels in be prepared to wash them again as your towels will be covered in washing powder & they aren't as clean as they should be!!
I would recommend this machine so long as they don't have any kids at home, otherwise you'll end up spending your life in the laundry

Overall: I have found that after having this machine for justover 12 months that it is going to cost me another $400 to fix it plus call out. What a joke, it washed fine up until 2 days ago when it decide no more. The technician wants $60 just to come and have look, and said it is the front control panel.
When you pay such high prices for things you expect them to last.
I will not be buying this brand again, first time user and it has left a foul taste in my mouth.
Out of the 10 repair companies I rang only one serviced Bosch, and I was on hold for over 25 minutes on the 1300 number for Bosch direct.

Pros: Very quiet. Efficient. Fast. Good rising and cloths really clean.
Cons: Nothing. It would be nice if it had a beep when its done.
Overall: We bought this to replace finally the Simpson washing machine we got in 1989. The Simpson has been repaired a few times over the years but still did a great job of washing. But the bearing were really loud especially on the spin cycle so we decided it was time to retire the old thing.

I was very surprised to see the Bosch clean the cloths just as well as the old Simpson, even though it used much less water and was much faster. It is a very quiet washer, with only a barly audible high pitched noise when its on the spin cycle(which only lasts 5-10 min).

I was concerned about how well it rinses based on reviews here and choice magazine reviews, but I was not disappointed as it rinses well, and I can only assume the other people had put too much detergent. I use 1/2 to 3/4 of a scoop with this new machine.

Pros: Choice of water & spin settings for each wash selection, lots of different cycles to choose.
Cons: My old machine would make a chime sounds when the cycle is finished. This one doesn't have any alerts which would be good.
Overall: I went from an LG Intellowasher (which I loved) to this one, which we bought because it seemed similar. I love all the different settings, even a quick 15 min wash. I love that it also has a "drain" setting which runs for 1 minute to get rid of any water so you can re-open the door if you forget to put more clothes in. Simple easy to use. Each wash setting you can select the desired water temperature & spin cycle you want which is great.

Pros: Easy to use with simple controls. The preset programs give excellent results and the clothes come out clean everytime. The water temperature and spin speed can be changed manually if required. Quiet operation.
Cons: Became noiser with time and finlly stopped working after 4.5 years. Called a technician who detected the excessive movement of the drum and said to that it is not worth repairing. Decided to take it apart myself and found the drain hose clogged with bra underwire. There was damage to the heating element and the spider supporting the drum had broken. The arms of the spider were coated with detergent residue. The cost of parts alone is over $500 and hence not worth repairing.
Overall: Purchased this washer to replace a Hoover top loader that lasted for over 15 years. Paid $1099 five years ago and the water wise rebate available at that time made it more attractive. It washed the clothes well during the time it lasted.

Lessons learnt:
Use less detergent than recommended on the box, maybe half or quarter of the quantity to ensure that there is no residue left in the machine. Using cold water to wash clothes is false economy. Powder detergents will dissolve readily in hot water and will help to dissolve the residue inside the machine. If this is not done, the detergent will accumulate on the spider arms that support the stainless steel drum and the concentrated alkaline environment will cause the aluminium spider to corrode that will lead to its eventual failure. This cannot be detected unless the machine is dismantled.

Do not wash underwire bras in a front loading machine. The under wires get dislodged and get stuck between the holes of the drum and tub and can cause damage to the heating element that is expensive to repair.

Buy a front loader that has the spider bolted on to the stainless steel drum rather than riveted to it as in the case of the Bosch WAE20260. If the spider gets corroded it can be separated and replaced rather than replacing the whole drum assembly which is expensive.

Pros: I like the model & it is so easy to use. The quick cylce is a bonus when you just have a few things to wash.
Cons: It simply didn't last. You would expect a washing machine to last longer than 3 years. May be it is only built for a very clean single. person. Very disappointing!
Overall: The Bosch front loader is easy to use & has a 15 minute quick wash cycle which is really handy for those lightly stained clothes. It was wonderful for the first year & then it started to struggle. It slowly become noisy when it was on spin & it leaked water out of the washing powder tray. I have had mine for only three years & it has just broken down & after a technician visit of 15 mins & $99 later I am told it is not worth reparing as it is going to be the same cost as a new one. I really thought a washing machine was built to last longer than 3 years. It was under a 2 year waranty. Would I buy another one? NO!
