Be prepared to make a warranty claim, prepare for the worst – The first PCM1800 I purchased had a dud laser light switch and the laser could not be turned off. This happened as soon as I connected it up and familiarised myself with it. Bosch allowed the supplier to replace the unit with a new one. The second one when started and test run made very nasty vibrations and dead gearbox/ bearing noises and spat grease out of the cooling fan ducting. Power, design. Unreliable.
