rubbish product – I have had this appliance for just over 2 years ( conveniently out of warranty ) and one of the sensor buttons is not responding correctly. It works intermittently, and causes a lot of trouble with the use of my cook top. Sometimes it gets stuck on too hot, or too cold, or just wont turn on at all. All of the 3 other buttons work fine, so no I haven't spilt something on it, or am just using the wrong type of pan. I rang bosh but they offered no solution other than me paying for a person to come and look at it. I am not very happy with their attitude and expect something that costs this much should last.Rick hart were great.
Hi Bosh, Sorry i didn't see this letter until just now. I purchased this cooktop on 24/10/2012. from harvey norman. I rang Bosh, ages ago on 1000 368 339. which was also a few months after I had the problem with my cooktop. I paid $2150.00 for this appliance so had hoped it would last at least 5 years. The model number you have already. and you may have a record of my phone call, unfortunately I havn't written the date on my paperwork. My phone number is 0411 354204. Love this product – I have had my Bosch induction for about 3 months and it has been a wonderful investment in my kitchen. The touch controls work well and the different cooking zones mean I can fit many sizes and shapes of pots on it. The glass is very robust and has not scratched yet, not like other brands we looked at on display in the shops which were covered in scratches. I have had no issues with this product and would recommend it as a functional showpiece! Easy to clean, instant control of heat levels, touch panel works well, a good layout. It can be expensive to get installed, as an extra high amp (powered electricity line) was required, cost us around $400.00 or more to install. But we did know this before purchasing. New pots and pans are required if not induction, but we took advantage of Boschs offer of a free pots/pan set on purchase and they have been good quality so far.
