Pros: Reliable, energy efficient and washes excellently
Cons: No cons
Overall: This was exceptionally good purchase for such excellent machine. We paid for Bosch WAE24462AU only AU $1000,~ in this price was included delivery from Harvey Norman - Bella Vista NSW and 12kg Omo washing powder.
Machine is very stable and quiet. It can be paused, opened and you can put there additional items. It is programmable, so if you want to soak, you just program it for how ever long time you want to soak and than it switches it's self on and start washing...fantastic! It has quite loud beep sound when finish washing. I found this very practical, as you don't forgot the washing in machine.
It has plenty of programs and if Omo is used it washes absolutely perfectly!

Pros: I love the ease of use with Bosch, even my power tools are bosch!
Cons: No Complaints, My 5.0kg just too small now as family growing! hahaha
Overall: I have a fisher and paykel fw1000 which is ive been told a bosch machine, although I love this machine and its run for 7 years without any trouble at all and is still running fine, its a bit small for a growing family. 100% are selling these at almost $1800.00 whats the story there??? apparently its 30% off on special which brings it down to $1244.00 but that's still a massive rip for what these are being sold for in Australia even with the dollar conversion!! Im the kind of guy to import one from there just to stick it to local rip off retailers!!!!

Pros: Compared to the old machine, it's quiet, uses a 1/6th of detergent and does an excellent job. My first load, I used too much detergent, but I guess it's trial and error. Have since read to dilute fabric softener to 1 part softener and 7 parts water. I did this today and the towels came out really well..
Cons: The manual is crap. On the first load the machine tried to leave home by jumping all over the floor. If it wasn't for this website, I wouldn't have known that it was because I hadn't removed the transportation protection devices
Overall: I have been nursing the old machine for around 12 months and it finally died. I did internet research for other brands and hadn't considered Bosch as I thought it was out of my price range. It was reduced by $400 and I bargained another $180 off and then received a $500 travel voucher when I purchased it. Got to be happy with that :) My cousin has had a front loader for years and is very happy with it (LG) So I made the change.

Pros: Less water and energy efficient and super quiet
Cons: The constant beeping after the cycle has finished
Overall: This machine is great. I bought it over 3 years ago now and it has had a hard life. It broke down last week and instead of calling out a repairman I thought id have a look myself first. All that had happened was that the nut that holds the large pulley behind the bowl had come loose and the belt had worked it's way off the pulleys. I tightened the nut put the belt back on and it's as good as new.

Pros: A great feature is the washing time readout, showing time required for cycle chosen and remaining time during the cycle. The delay start is also useful, enabling an early load to be set up the night before.
Cons: A small pool of water collects at the bottom of the door seal and requires wiping each time to prevent mold. A pity there's no choice in right or left opening door, although the door does open 180 degrees.
Overall: I chose this model to replace a 15 year old Asko front loader, with which I have always been very happy. However it was difficult to justify the price of a new Asko compared to the deals offered by Bosch. The only concern was in terms of comparable quality. However, I have been pleasantly surprised, with the Bosch doing an excellent job and with relatively short cycle times in terms of a front loader. It's very quiet and stable, and lots of choices in washing cycles, temperatures and spin speeds. I'm not sure I can tell much difference between some of the choices, and not much explanation in terms of instructions. However, the controls are fairly self explanatory and the result is always of a high standard. Economical in use of detergent, water and energy.

Overall: Recently upgraded to this machine from a 10 year old top loader. Am very impressed so far. Bought this machine on star ratings for water and energy; clear designed control panel; washing programming selections and price for a quality built machine.

Best feature of this machine is the ease of use (not having used a front loader previously) and the available selection of washing cycles.

Price wise - shop around - you may get it cheaper than what is stated on this website. I did.

The only downside to the design of this machine is that a small amount of water pools in the door seal. This just needs to be soaked up and the door left ajar for any moisture to evaporate after completing a wash.

A very happy Bosch customer.
