Well made and easy to service – Gets heavy duty use for a family of four. Only issues noted have been the need to replace the motor brushes which wear out with high frequency use. Average duty cycle for these is 3-4 years. The clue they are wearing put is a degrading of the spin function and your machine finishing a wash with the clothes still quite wet and dripping. Replacing the brushes is a simple job for a moderately handy person. Buy them off eBay from the UK because the local suppliers will shaft you to the tune of around $45 otherwise. The motor has to be removed from the machine to do this job - just can't get to them otherwise. Importantly, make sure the replacements are orientated the right way when you put them in . They are wedge shaped and they will be damaged if you put them in wrong way round. Always unplug the machine and turn off the water supply before you do ANYTHING. It pays to check on the upper spring mounts under the "counter top" as these suspend the drum in the air. There are two Torx screws at the rear of the machine just under the counter top lip - remove them and then with a sharp tug draw the counter top rearwards toward you. This will free it from the plastic locating lugs at the front of the machine casing and the counter top may be lifted off. Replacement is the reverse. The springs themselves are no problem, but the cross member they hang off is a pressed steel panel which eventually wears through at the point that the spring bears on it. This results in the drum dropping to the lower part of the cabinet, which can be seen by the door/drum grey rubber looking like it is twisted. The drum will sit obviously lower and this may result in the lower shock absorbers below the drum becoming damaged in some way, or broken. The machine will function, but sounds like it is trying to escape from inside the cabinet - so don't let it wreck itself and switch it off. The replacement crossmember is available aftermarket, but in my case I cut sections of 4 inch nails and slipped them under the spring hook, so that they rested alongside the factory suspension points. A bit of grease was applied to them and the machine should be good for another ten years. Reliable, not many problems with general operation. The service life of the machine exceeds the life expectancy of some structural parts, like the crossmember.
