10 Years not a single issue - nice fluffy clothes and towels – bought it in 2010 in NZ - not a single issue with it, good selection of settings. Machines have to be treated with respect, plastic is everywhere in cars and appliances. I had an issue with a Bosch induction cooktop which died in month 13 - talk to Bosch they may see you right - I had spent a lot of money on different appliances and that surely… Read more ·  1

helped my case - it is imortant to realise that today's mass manufacturing accepts a certain percentage of failure rates as quality assurance costs would be so high that appliance would be exceedingly expensive - realistically this even applies to aircraft ; it still sucks when you are in that group. I would still recommend Bosch for it reliability and quality performance - you pay a small premium but it saves repair costs of low end brands. I still compare each product across multiple brands in every case. The dryer WTE86301AU deserves it's 5 stars after 10 years.

Excellent product and no complaints – Been using this for over 8 years now and still great. Not sure why it has been discontinued or if it has replaced with a new model. It dries our clothes perfectly and not wrinkled. I like that it has a sensor so can dry clothes in a very cost efficient way. I trust the quality of bosch.  Show details ·  1

Leaks water down bottom of machine – Leaked from day go, had it serviced, but continued to leak. Very expense product to up date. I'm now looking at buying the basic air venting model, at least when it brakes down its not that expensive to replace, sometimes less is more! This product turned a lot my family members off from buying a condenser dryer. I would never buy a condenser dryer again.  Show details

Loved it until it broke after 3.5 years :( – As far as a dryer goes I loved it. Easy to clean, effective, lots of settings and gentle on clothes (never over dried) And then one day after a cycle it says F12 Error and after calling Bosch they said it needs a new control module which costs $700!!! For an expensive dryer you would expect that it would last at least 10-15 years. I don't think… Read more

I will ever buy Bosch again. Needless to say I'm very unhappy and Bosch were not even appologetic about it :( I'm sure they just want to sell parts

We have the matching washing machine and so far so good but I'm worried every day :(

A great dryer that has given us great results with no troubles – We have had our dryer now for about 2 years and, in that time, it has given us brilliant results time after time and we have had no problems with it at all. We use it to dry at least half of our washing - and we would not use anything else for drying our towels - they come out so fluffy compared to other dryers. The only downside is that it… Read more

does take a bit of maintenance and can get quite dirty if you neglect to clean it for a while (as we did once). Still, it was quite easy to clean when we did get around to it! reliable, great results expensive

Overpriced and not that fabulous – Expensive emergency purchase and is now unusable. The handle is made of cheap plastic and has snapped off where it screws to the door - had to prise it open to get the clothes out. Now have to take a day off work to wait for a repairman who may or may not turn up to replace the handle with (I'm guessing) an equally dodgy one. It's only 18 months… Read more

old! The water drains away just like the washing machine Lint filters are not very good. Lint escapes into all kinds of crevices inside the machine. It is also hard to clean. My son bought an Electrolux for half the price and it is much less messy.

Same here, a $1900 top end machine with a $2 handle, never buy Bosch again.

very dissapointing – Very inflexable with programmes, no fluffing or cooling down and no drying without heat. It only turns in onw direction so the sheet ends up in a tiny ball. Had a bendix previously which would beat it around the block and back. In short, a very basic dryer at top dollar price. I was a fan of Bosch, have a dishwasher and on my second washing… Read more

machine but this is rubbish. It matches the washing machine. Inflexable, expensive, basic and not worth the money.

Excellent – I have been using the Bosch conderser dryer in my beauty salon for about 2 years now. We use this dryer about 3-4 times, 6 days a week. It hasn't missed a beat. I have had 2 other dryers in the past, an LG 7kg conderser dryer (which required repair about 8-9 times before I decided to get rid of it and replace it with the Bosch), and before that I… Read more ·  1

used a standard vented dryer which I had to replace because our laundry wasn't vented and it was fogging up the shop windows, especially in winter.

Another point to note, since we've been using this dryer, the towels that we use in our treatments have lasted a good deal longer than when we were using the other two dryers...perhaps 50% longer.

Given the fact that this dryer has had such a high level of usage and has never broken down, I would highly recommend this dryer to anyone. Extremely reliable, keeps clothes and towels in good condition. Does not cause as much condensation as a regualr dryer, so it is good for spaces with minimal ventilation. As with all condenser dryers, you need to remember to empty the water out after each cycle (though this could be rectified if a hose - provided with the dryer -was hooked out to drain it automatically)

Excellent – Not cheap but a very good buy. Solidly built, good finishing, quiet and efficient. Large capacity container for the water so no fears of it overflowing. Easy to empty filter. Very efficient, quiet, solidly built, lots of options - large capacity. Nothing. It's one of the best investments i have made. True value for money

Excellent – This dryer is amazing. Has given faultless performance. Very quiet, well made, easy to use. Would highly recommend it. Fairly expensive, but you get what you paid for with this unit. Good – I selected Bosch because it is highly regarded in reviews and seemed to have the least complaints about technical issues. I've had the dryer for 4 months so far and have no complaints. I consider it to be expensive but I was happy to pay for what I hope to be the best brand, fingers crossed! Sturdy construction. Fairly quiet operation. Having to… Read more ·  2

empty the condenser bottle, definitely needs the drain kit installed. Very Dry Cycle is about 50 mins and leaves the clothes damp still. Needs an additional 20 mins and they're dry. Have to make sure the clothes are spun very well in the washer in order to get a good drying result.

I don't like the 2 star energy rating but more than that is hard to come with with a dryer. Expensive. Wish it had a timer delay start so I could set to start offpeak.

Excellent – We got this on special at a factory clearance for $1000 as we fealt spending $1600 plu son a dryer was too much but now we have it we can see why you would spend $1600.
