While I did like the sound on my 30 Pin Air unit it has now 'bricked' itself and will be thrown in the rubbish bin. Tech Support from B&W Australia were ZERO help and simply had the stance that its too old now and get a new one. I do not like very expensive pieces of equipment that fail and then have zero support. I paid a lot of money for the unit and expect it to last more than 11 years.

Not built for long term – Bought a Zeppelin Air and power supply issue. Told by authorised repairer that they don't make parts after 7 years. Very disappointed for a "quality" system. Paid $$ for the unit as well. Would not buy another Wilkins system again. Show details

I'm struggling and B & W support a huge disappointment – In Aus, recently connected to NBN and lost my link to new router through my Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin Air. Have spent ALL DAY via email mostly and once via phone with AUS tech guy to work out why I can't connect wirelessly, with no success and despite endless pleas to escalate the issue to hopefully someone who can. Not Good Enough B AND W.  Show details

Great sound built quailty not – When thinking on buying a docking station i sone my homework and bought the b&w zeppelin as abbey road use speakers from them and thought yes this is the one, was very happy until it broke down, seems to be a problem with the mother boards in all zeppelins, got it fixed only had it over a year and i was lucky if i had it on 20 times, or so, now it… Read more

has happened again, i have purchased a bose docking station ok the sound isn't as crisp as the zeppelin but the build quality is better, paid around $500 for the zeppelin which is steep but have to say i prefer the bose system better.

Excellent sound but – The sound quality is the first thing you notice once you start up the Zeppelin. It is simply amazing. my criticism is the build quality of the docking port. I have had to have mine repaired three times - and even now I need duck tape to hold it together to avoid another lengthy stint in the repair shop. This is a pity as everything else is wonderful. Sound quality is hard to beat Build qualty with ipod connection

Amazing Sound – Amazing Sound and beautiful to look at. I have the older version which doesn't have the 'AIR' wi-fi, but the it is twice as heavy as the shell is made from a aluminium (12kg). The only thing i would change on it is, it needs a radio. Its also great to hook up to the TV via AUX cable. Beautiful Sound and elegant design No radio. Bass is a bit heavy

Great allrounder – Have had it for a few months now - excellent toy: great sound, easy to use - you can play music straight from your computer (i-tunes) or i-phone. Didn't look too hard to set it up (my husband did it and didn't complaint too much). Also connected it to TV and use it for almost cinema like sound when watching movies (won't replace home theatre,… Read more

but not bad for a little thing like that) . Very happy, would buy another one for another room and will recommend highly. Look, sound. No radio, but can use radio apps through the iphone if really want to.

Crystal clarity, wonderful warmth and depth of sound, all reasonably portable and wireless! – Very easy to setup if you follow the instructions. Wifi not always an easy task for the lay person, but this one seemed rather fool proof for even my aged router/wireless system. Airplay is Apple's recent foray into the realm of wireless music streaming. You can also directly attach an iPod, iPhone, or iPad to the dock on the front which… Read more

beautifully 'floats' in front of the speaker. While not designed to hand the iPad, it does so with remarkable aplomb.

There are simple adjustments in regards to bass/treble balance which are preset by B&W for various positions of placement. We have ours placed in a corner bookshelf so the bass gets dialled back a bit due to the echo that comes from around the speaker.

I purchased this system for two reasons, wireless music which works perfectly with amazing reproduction and seemingly no loss of sound quality, and the relative portability of the system. I can plug it in outside and listen to music from my laptop inside the house. Overall I am very pleased with the construction (very robust and not a lightweight to carry), sound quality (beats a Bose system I trialled) and design (while an odd 'zeppelin' shape it is attractive and only draws neutral or positive remarks.

Drawbacks are price only, and yes you can buy louder systems for much less. The combination of features led me to feel the value was there for the price. The fewer wires also means the toddlers have fewer things to pull on, always a bonus in our house.

It comes with a remote which is handy at times, and a 3 month subscription was also included to B&W homepage which allows you to download some albums from international artists. Sound quality/reproduction is exemplary / portability and Airplay Price

It's not a home theatre system – Look. I'm fussy about sound. To most this will be an awesome package. Cool, crisp, wireless and ipod/iphone compatible. But I was expecting more to be honest after reading so may reviews. It's good without blowing me away. Clean crip, but does distort which I truly hate. The bass could pack more punch, but that's my preference... Overall,… Read more

for $799 new (Dec 2011)I want a truly great experience. I don't get it from the Zeppelin Air.

For me it's about the sound. Stand over it, it's not too bad, walk away and the sound changes...it's designed to play iphone/ipods. It's not a theatre system.

I would usually buy Polk Audio speakers/Luxman receiver etc. this was a change in my approach. I'll stick to my origination approach if i can get truly full, bass, rich sound Great features, looks cool. Sound's good, but I expected more
