I love it and it has great sound qualty for such a small device – It has a excellent design making it light and easy to use the audio in is not useful unless you buy an extra cord to go with it making it just that… Read more

While I did like the sound on my 30 Pin Air unit it has now 'bricked' itself and will be thrown in the rubbish bin. Tech Support from B&W Australia… Read more

were ZERO help and simply had the stance that its too old now and get a new one.

I do not like very expensive pieces of equipment that fail and then have zero support. I paid a lot of money for the unit and expect it to last more than 11 years.

Still a great iPhone Dock Portable Bluetooth Speaker in 2022 – Just bought this Philips Portable Bluetooth Speaker with iPhone dock in 2022 (second hand of course) for just $10 and its amazing. Who needs all… Read more

those other overpriced cylindrical waterproof portable Bluetooth speakers? Plenty of cheap and nasty ones around too that you wouldn't touch. But this Philips one does everything today's Bluetooth speakers do in 2022 and much more! What sets this Philips Bluetooth / iPhone Speaker apart is the following: 1. Great sound for such a small speaker with lovely clear highs and mids. The lows come up good as well too due to the dynamic bass boost. You can always use the equalizer in your phone to adjust the sound but I find it's best with EQ off. 2. Nice attractive compact size that's not heavy and well made so it won’t break easily. 3. Even though its close to 10 years old now the battery still runs for the specified 5 hours on Bluetooth at mid volume. How good is that? Though battery charging is slow by 2022 standards. This slow (trickle) charging is probably why the battery is still in such great condition. And obviously Philips used a high quality rechargeable battery with good overcharge protection. 4. Plug in the charger and it runs on mains as well. The speaker dock battery charges in the background whilst you are playing music through it. If your iPhone (5/6/7/8/X) is attached to the lightning connector/dock then your iPhone charges at the same time. So you can play music from your iPhone for as long as you like! And it will be charged when you remove it. Plus there is a USB charging port at the back in case you are using an android phone with Bluetooth. Or alternatively you can connect via the 3.5mm stereo port if your device doesn't have Bluetooth 5. Unlike most iPhone dock speakers made in 2013 this one has a native lightning port that was introduced with the iPhone 5 and is hence compatible will all subsequent iPhones (5/6/7/8/X/11/12/13) as the iPhone lightning port hasn't changed at all. I'm using an iPhone 8 with it and it works perfectly (music play and charging) 6. The Bluetooth is still compatible with all smartphones so it can be used with both Android phones and iPhones. And the volume control on the dock syncs with your phone's Bluetooth volume. So you can control the volume either from the dock or from your phone. The only negatives I have are as follows: a) A built-in radio would have been nice given most phones don't have one built in. b) Some sort of bass, treble and loudness control could have been included. Though as mentioned your phone's equalizer partially makes up for this. c) The promoted Philips ClockStudio app that is supposed to be downloaded onto your iPhone and used with this device hasn't been updated since 2014 so its no longer available. No big deal though as the app was rather useless in reality and this Philips Bluetooth speaker works just fine without it.

Dell Docking Station WD22TB Review – The Dell WD22TB4 Thunderbolt 4 Docking Station, 130W PD, 180W AC Adapter, is very functional and good, but isn't reasonable, as it costed me AU$449.… Read more

Out of the box, you get a power adapted for the docking station, and the docking station itself.

Desktop personal computers, software, and accessories are all sold by Dell. The business creates, develops, produces, distributes, and supports the infrastructure of information technology, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, workstations, storage devices, software, cloud solutions, and notebooks. Now they are a big part in the industry of docking stations.

This docking station works seamlessly with any USB type-c device, including Macs, and I use it for my MacBook Pro, and works perfectly find. the function of a docking station is to have all connections that you use only on your desk, including power to come out through one wire, and it also helps people connect to two or more monitors, but with the Dell WD22TB4 docking station, you can connect up to 2 displays.

The overall experience with the Dell Docking station is good, and it also has a built-in fan, to help cool it down when there is a lot of loads, which is very helpful, because it has never failed me, and never got laggy.

The first docking station I would potentially recommend to most people is the Belkin Docking station, because it is less than half the price than the Dell one, but don't get me wrong, it is a very good docking station for Pro Users.

Worked well for a year and then ran into multiple issues. Most of the problems are around the docks inability to see monitors. Sometimes it works… Read more

sometimes it doesn't. Looking online this is a big issue that affects loads of users. I'm using a HP laptop and standard phillips monitors (brand new) so really, there should be zero issues. HP customer service just told me to reload the drivers. The thing is that this issue only began after hp released a driver update. Was this planned obsolescence? Either way, I'm unlikely to ever purchase a HP dock again and will advise others to not bother as well (they cost a pretty penny compared to alternatives)

Build Quality Poor – Bought this product off Amazon. It stopped working after 14 months. The issue was a broken off USB port. The item had been well treated. After… Read more

removing the circuit board it was found the broken off USB port had been very poorly attached to the circuit board. The port had anchor tabs that had not been soldered through the board. The tabs did not align with the holes so had not been soldered. The port was only surface soldered on. There was little chance it was going to last. I contacted Amazon, but as one could expect, no response, no acknowledgement of my email, nothing. Contacted the manufacturer (Wavlink) After the second attempt they did contact me and they did replace the dock. I checked the new dock. The port attachment to the board was unchanged. The manufacturer had the audacity to request I write a positive review. Their service response rated positive, the product quality is not up to acceptable standards. I would steer clear of this product.
