Have always loved Braun until now – I have always found Braun small appliances to be far superior to most other brands. Until now, I had complete trust in the brand. Now, I can't get customer service for this food processor which has broken after 10 months of use. It's still under the 1-year warranty but I have can't get any help from anybody. (This is in Dubai where we currently… Read more
live and, just to be clear, the first action I took was to call the online store where we bought it and though they took my details and said they would get back to me they have not.)
I've tried the Braun website in every way I can, with only dead links, phone numbers that nobody answers, emails that disappear and are never answered. The physical location of the shop that supposedly fixes Braun products no longer exists. Today I got back a reply from an email I had sent to the mother company, P&G, in which they said, sorry we can't help you, why don't you try contacting Delonghi which is affiliated with Braun.
I went to the Delonghi Middle East site and the "Contact us" link is broken.
Honestly, this is unbelievable. We seem to live in an age of ever-shrinking options for customers needing after-purchase service. In the old days you could get in your car and drive down to the bricks-and-mortar store and raise hell till someone helped you. Now you're lucky if you can reach a call centre with phone operators reading responses from a list and speaking in accents that may so different from your own as to be unintelligible.
Have been using it for nearly 20 years almost daily! – I have said so many times how this double bowled processor does everything I need. I find all the attachments easy to use and very functionary and the machine itself isn't as heavy to move around as some of the others I have tried. Recently I contacted the service department as I had accidently bent the blade out of its shape so it wouldnt spin… Read more
properly any more and I am so impressed but their prompt response. Not only did I hear back within a day or so, but received by post an immediate and FREE replacement of the blade for my nearly 20 year old machine!
Job well done Braun. It is true when they say you get what you pay for, an excellent product which continues to service the ever changing needs of my kitchen requirements, hopefully for another 20 years!
a must have for any kitchen – Have been using this for many years, although this product has been discontinued, the same hardware is now available as the Braun TributeCollection Food processor - FX 3030. Very sturdy build, highly powerful motor, and excellent value for money. These food processors are built to last and you won't be disappointed. Show details
The best food processor on the market – I have had this processor since new and still use it regularly for any application. I use it to make cakes, chop anything I need, mix anything and it is so reliable. I still have all the attachments too and will be unhappy if it ever breaks down. Best product ever made! Show details
Best ever – This is the best ever food processor. Never leaks, does an incredible job whether or not the food is hard like carrots or ice or just mixing cakes or whisking egg whites. Comes with 2 different sizes for small items like nuts or peppercorns or large ones for cake mixes etc. Can't for the life of me see why Braun have discontinued this item. Show details
An amazing machine! – I was a bit hesitant at buying a food processor as I had a good Kenwood Chef Major with attachments, but decided to get this model Braun from Good Guys, Penrith, Circa 1997-98, because I wanted something a bit more convenient to use than the processor attachment on the Kenwood. I chose the Braun after researching as far as was possible back then;… Read more
I was already aware of the quality associated with Braun. It cost in the region of $109, I think, though an assistant had put the wrong label in place and, by law, had to sell it at the labelled price. I believe the RRP was about $150.
I was amazed at how good, efficient and easy to use it was, and remain so after all these years. I was so impressed I bought the Braun Multiquick MR430HC stick blender as well, which is also still going strong.
I can't claim to have used my appliances as often as some contributors, but can easily believe their comments. The only things I have ever had to replace was the Multiquick chopper blade and bowl after an unnoticed piece of nut shell in some commercially shelled walnuts jammed the blade and damaged the cutting edge, and stripped the mechanism, and now a sealing ring for the smaller jug on the Combi which has developed a couple of cuts [? from not being careful enough when chucking all the bits into the sink together with cutlery when washing up].
I am assuming the newer FX3030, which looks exactly the same, is as good. I look forward to reading more comments about that model, just in case my Combi does die.
The best of all the processors around – I have had my Braun processor for over 20 years without any issues. I loved it....but sadly it has just died on me and I'm lost without it. I'm off to purchase another Braun (new model). Can thoroughly recommend this brand for reliability. I will certainly stick with this brand as it had great capacity for our family needs and attachments work well.
Wonderful! – I have had mine for 2 years and I absolutely love it. I have a newer bosch in my cupboard too that I cant fault but this one lives on my bench ... If you just need a food processor do it! I dont like the whipping attachment much and wish there was a disk for thicker fries .. but for day to day use its perfect .. Mines used easily three or four times a week for just about everything
Twice the goodness – We've had the older single bowl version.. and it finally died this year just before Christmas, after 15+years of faithful service. I started looking at the latest Sunbeam and Breville machines but was unimpressed about the lack of a speed selector. I then came across this Braun online and given you experience with the last one, it didn't take me… Read more
long to decide. Half the price of the highest spec Breville machine and in my opinion - twice as good.
The machine is basically still the same as it was 15 years ago - albeit with the new smaller chopping bowl on the left. Plus this version comes with a few more attachments such as a vegetable juicer and a citrus press. Performance is exactly as I remember from my old machine with some minor improvements in design.
The small bowl is an excellent fast chopper for even the finest results - great for making mayonnaise as well since it has an inbuilt pouring lid. Very happy with this choice and I hope it lasts as long as my previous one.
Excellent food processor – After 25 yrs my Braun food processor motor is dying .. I have replaced parts over years . I have given it an incredible workout.. Doing professional catering most of the years! Amazing product and great service from Braun .
Best in my opinion. This is the king of food processors – I love how quiet it is, reliable, and convenient. Comes with everything. Excellent product, value for money. I have a new Russel Hobbs food processor aswell but far less quality, far less blade option etc. The Braun combimax 750 does it all. Reliable, Heaps of options for slicing, whisking, whipping, shredding etc. Show reply
Looks Good Initially, but Died Under Pressure – On the surface, the Braun looked good, we purchased it because of the brand expecting it to perform and last, but have been disappointed. On a practical basis, it comes with many bits and pieces, however it is a pain to store. This is exacerbated by the fact that it has the two separate bowls, one large and one small, so it takes up quite a bit… Read more
of room. This was our fault as I didn't realise how large it was until I got it home and unpacked. A stand to hold all the pieces would have been very useful. Secondly the small mixing bowl and associated utensils were nearly useless, something we learned early on in the piece. Thirdly, after relatively infrequent use over the last couple of years, the internal gears gave up a couple of weeks ago when my wife tried to kneed something for the first time. Sure the motor still goes, but the blades will not turn with anything in the bowls. Not happy Jan. It now resides in our bin and I am looking for a new food processor that will not fall apart at the first sign of hard work and is more compact to store. My advice is spend more for a good processor, look for one that is easy to manage and store and look at the reviews before buying. Was good for light mixing while it lasted. Dissapointed with performance, difficult to store and it broke after 2 years of infrequent use.
So sad it has died after 7 years plus! – I bought one of the first ones I think and it cost me a small fortune but it has been worth every penny! I loved that the kids could make yummy healthy milk shakes and I could grate a block of cheese, juice carrots, slice cabbage for the best homemade coleslaw! I want to replace it but don't need any attachments - still got them all in excellent… Read more · 3

Don't hesitate to purchase - you won't be sorry - just sad like me when it finally goes! Everything except price initially - but great investment truly!

Excellent – Very sturdy and reliable, hard working horse for those kitchen chores, I give it a score of ten out of ten. Brilliant range of accessories, very useful for any kitchen task related chopping, mixing, whipping. Had it for about two years and I have found it very reliable not had a single problem with it. The plastic whipping attachment gears seem… Read more
to have developed some issues after we tried using it to for a pancake mix which was a bit too thick but I was advised that it can be replaced easily.
It is not cheap to buy but well worth the extra dollars.
Best Foodprocessor l have even used – Versatile, yes! for stuffing l use one side for the onions and tomato mix, the other side to roughly chop the stale bread. Buy blocks of cheese on special and grate & freeze them yourself to save money. So many uses, it's the best, l have had mine for about 8 years l think, hasn't missed a beat, easy to wash under the tap. My husband even likes it… Read more · 3
too, and that's saying something. We have tried others, l cook sometimes at Oil well camps, and use their appliances, l don't know how many times l wish l had my trusted Braun. 2023, still using it.. !!
Good – Excellent product - would not want one without two bowl sizes or the range of accessories that come with it such as citrus squeezer, cream whipper, slicing & grating blades and dough hook - all of which i use. 2 sizes of bowls invaluable -smaller one great for nuts, pate's, pestos. Still thin enough to fit on most bench tops (i have the samllest… Read more · 2
kitchen). Dough hook works well for creaming sugar and butter for cakes.includes different blades for grating or slicing vegetbles. Large bowl blends soups to what ever degree desired with pulse button. Excellent allround processor. I use mine all the time. Have to be carefull in cleaning around blade spindles and inside of blade support that fits over spindle as particles may trap there. This problem however probably applies to most food processors.
Excellent – Bought this about six months ago off eBay from someone who'd never used it (unwanted present). As far as food processors go, this seems to do just about everything. The whisking attachment works a treat and having two bowls with their own blades has been very handy for some of the recipes I've made. Hasn't baulked at any task I've thrown at it. Thumbs up. Design, versatility, quality.
Excellent – This is my favourite kitchen appliance ever. Its great quality and is super effective at what it does. I use it to make breadcrumbs, blend soup, chop vegetables for stocks, sauces etc etc. Its powerful and easy to use. Used it for 5 years, every week, very reliable. Two different sized bowls. Bulky.
