Not worth the money – I have thick, wavy hair. Plate takes too long to heat up, steam is counter productive to the straightening process and removable comb actually pulls on hair. You will straighten hair but it won't be sleek and straight - you will find hair will still have a "mini kink" but an overall straight, albeit messy, appearance. It is only a cheap item but you are better off spending an extra $150 on a decent straightener. Inexpensive. Did not perform as promoted.
