Non stick and cutting action just didnt work – Not recommended for the reason that the non stick coating only lasted about 5-6 uses around the cutting point. So every sandwich is ripped apart when you open the lid. Even attempts to be as careful as possible and try to clear the point where it sticks is difficult and usually doesn't work. Fast heat up time Like another user within about 6 uses the non stick coating peeled off at the cutting point
Excellent – I love to use this style of sandwich press to make sandwiches where I want to contain the fillings and not have the melted cheese ooze out all over the place. The sandwich edges get sort of crimped together so the fillings are heated through and don't get squashed out when the top is pushed down ontop of the sandwiches. I love to make toasted… Read more
lettuce and cheese sandwiches with this appliance. This is appliance is so easy to use and reliable in its simplicity. It toasts fantastic sandwiches. The only thing I can think of that I dislike about this product is that I have trouble storing it sometimes because you can't really stack it on top of anything.
Excellent – having this sandwich maker gives me more options for tasty snacks for my family. it is easy to clean, fits all sorts of bread sizes and small enough to fit in the cupboard. the manual comes with soem recipe ideas also which is good to refer to. size of actual maker and bread size
Terrible – I bought this hoping to find something the kids could also use to make themselves toasted sandwiches. My Mum also owns one and told me hers always stuck down the middle but she thought she'd maybe cleaned the middle section too much. After 5 or 6 uses I discovered that mine was doing the same. When you opened it when it was finished, it was okay… Read more
with plain cheese, but as soon as you added ham or tomato or anything else it would stick and rip the sandwich apart, making it impossible to get out of the hole.
In the end I returned it to the store I bought it from for a refund and went back to my trusty old cast iron stove top jaffle maker. Green light lit up when it was ready.
Easy to clean. Didn't cut properly down the middle.
Everything stuck to the middle section where it was meant to cut, tearing the sandwiches apart when you tried to open it.
Excellent – We didn't actually pay for this, it was a loyalty card reward, so we were expecting to receive an inferior product, but this is definitely the best jaffle maker I've ever used. The most impressive feature is that it really does cut the sandwiches in half. I was very pleased with this as all sandwich makers claim to do it but never do! And so… Read more
easy to clean - just wipe the spills off. I definitely recommend this product. Firstly, it actually does cut the sandwiches in half! So easy to clean. Stands up so it's easy to store. Nothing as yet. Perhaps it's a little bulky in shape but not enough to bother me.
Excellent – When I was younger we owned an old version of this and eventually the plates became very scratched and wore out, I loved it and thought I would never find something to replace it. When I decided to buy this and give it a go, I was amazed! It works just as well and as easy to clean as the one I had when I was little. I'm very happy with it Toasts… Read more
sandiches very quickly, great non stick plates so if some cheese gets melted onto it, it is very easy to remove. love it! Nothing, it's very well designed and doesn't have any inconvenient annoying features.
Excellent – It's possibly our most used appliance and the quality of the toasting hasn't changed in all the years we've owned it. Toasts a sandwich very quickly whilst being very simple to use. It's lightweight and easy to store in the cupboard upright with the cord wrapped around the cord storage part on the base. Very tidy. We've owned it for eight years and use it several times a week. There's nothing wrong with it at all.
