Yes, it feels like it wobbles and no knife guides as some have noted but it does very good job of creating a sharp edge. It probably self guides if not forced.

Purchased in for $12.99.

Experience mirrors that below, underwhelming – I found this product to be noisy and very hard to line up the knife due to a lack of a guide, the edge is makes very shallow and uses small ceramic cylinders to hone the knife. I also noticed that the knife tended to strike the end badly and the small ceramic cylinders were out of alignment somewhat causing the knife to wobble. I paid $10 on clearance, but should have saved my cash. Like the others I use a Minosharp with my Global knives now

Could Use It As A Stainless Steel Paper Weight – If you want your knives to be blunt then buy this. The ceramic disk gently moulds the blade down to a harmless width that could be safely used by a toddler. I generally like Breville products - we own a toaster, kettle and slow cooker. That's where I went wrong - I should have cooked slash toasted my knives. In the end I actually purchased a MinoSharp 3 for $59.00 and it's 100 times better than the Breville electric sharpener.
