Unsafe for Use – After about 5 or 6 uses the teflon coating peeled off onto the bread. Not pleasant and certainly not good for your health. For a $40-$60 item its not worth talking to the manufacturer, just throw it in the bin and warn everyone you can not to use them. For the sake to $40 protect your health dispose of this item. There is no way that eating teflon is good for your healh. Cheap Dangerous for your health

Good – I use it for cheese and Vegemite toasties about three times a year. It works quite well but it really depends on the thickness of the bread and crusts. The seal in the middle is really good- you can always easily snap the sandwich into triangles. I have no idea why I have this, a waffle maker and a sandwich press in my kitchen. I'm not sure any of these are really necessary unless you have a special interest. Looks a bit cheap looking.
