Great addition to my kitchen! – The Breville Kitchen Wizz 15 Pro, Peel & Dice is definitely a pro at peeling, blitzing, slicing & shredding! It makes light work of anything with its powerful 2000W motor - and it is much quieter than my previous machine. This food processor also has a 25 year warranty on the motor, which is incredible. This versatile machine is a great addition to any kitchen, I love it and it’s definitely worth the price! Show details

Tough strong machine, But – Had our machine for absolute ages. ( Over 10 years),. Now on 4th bowl and second lid. Suggest not using in dishwasher as they go cloudy and then get brittle? Powerful motor appears to crack the bowl if the food is too thick/dense to cut through easily. Show details

Large Processing Bowl fatigue crack problem not resolved since original support request 1st May 2023 – We are ex chefs and buy only quality kitchen appliances. This processor is a real workhorse, but the quality of the large bowl has proven to be below Breville's usual standard. We never overload the motor by lengthy operation or never place oversize foodcuts into bowl. However, we've experienced cracking in the large bowl drive gear surround area… Read more

of 2 bowls (1st replacement gratus by Breville) However, after experiencing yet again the same cracking in the 1st replacement, Breville are expecting us to pay for a second replacement. In other words, we're paying for their product failure. If we're the only purchaser of this processor with this problem, I can only assume there is an underlying mechanical fault within our processor that is causing the bowls to develope cracks around the 'drive gear' area. There has been no solution offered by Breville watsoever other than to 'SELL' us a new bowl Breville HAS BEEN our unquestionable choice of kitchen products in the past, but we'll be shopping around for alternatives in the future.

Powerful, solid and versatile – We've had this for many years, bought years ago close to when it was first released and seemed really expensive for that time, bought for a mother's day present. After many cheaper and lesser food processors this was and still is the boss. There's almost nothing this machine can't do. Well worth the money and has done the distance and still… Read more

going strong...no sign that it's getting weaker. We've always washed everything in our dishwasher, including all the blades, bowls parts everything. We did have this annoying issue of the blades getting stuck and very hard to remove from the bowl, dishwasher washing seemed to make the problem worse. After contacting Breville, we received something that fixed the problem...I think it was a new bowl...not sure now...No problems since then. We've sliced, chopped, grated, blended, liquifed everything...no problem. It's pretty heavy, so stays on the counter all the time, but at least it looks good and makes us look like serious cooks.. :-)

It’s ok not the best to what I thought it would be – First time start using it and not even 2 minutes it overheated so had to stop the machine. It gave bad fumes since it overheat it didn’t want to restart. There is no speed control so it was a bit difficult to judge how fine you want your food to be. So far the blades seem to work fine but one of the blade looks like it’s about to bend or… Read more

chipped. Had the machine for 2 years now and haven’t been able to use it as often as I like cause was afraid it might blow up.

Misleading advertisement – Advertising as being able to dice but infact it only does this if you spend a further $100 odd dollars. Save yourself the bother and purchase the next one up. Don't expect any service from breville, they aren't the great company they once were. Show details

NEver had an issue it does what it's meant to – I've read a lot of bad reviews here and I have had nothing but good use out of this food processor. It's actually a mainstay of my kitchen bench as we cook a lot and we must have used it at least three times a week in the past . Show details

Powerful and efficient but expensive – Bought this in early 2018 but little use so far. Powerful motor with 25 year warranty. Very efficient but noisy operation. Most functions work really well. Has a heavy base and requires effort to clean all the components. Sharp blades with high risk of cutting fingers when removing or cleaning. Expensive. Show details

Upgrade to a PRO worth every penny – Less than a year ago I purchased a smaller Breville food processor and it was OK, but limited certain options. With the extra cash from COVID, thought I'd support the retail sector and get the processor I'd hankered for. The BIG BREVILLE 2000watt Pro model. Been working it ever since. The large opening makes it so easy to work quickly through a… Read more

cabbage, or slice a whole piece of fruit (rather than cutting it into pieces first. The size of the motor allows you to kneed for longer at a time. The small bowl is something I needed and wasn't in the other model. I'll never need another machine. This is top of the range and only limited by the user's imagination. I haven't used everything yet, but I'll get there.

Expensive product, very poor quality bowls – Purchased my expensive Breville Food Processor about 4 years ago. I use it often but by no means a lot. Within a couple of years both mini bowl and main processor bowl cracked. I replaced the large bowl 10 months ago and it has cracked at the bottom where the spindle is. I inquired with Breville about this and they said it was not under warranty.… Read more

It will have to be eventually replaced again. Very poor quality bowls considering the price. I did see on other review sites that the bowls tend to crack. I wish I was aware of this before spending so much. Not sure if I would recommend this product given I will need to replace the bowl again. The only thing customer service offered was a link to purchase another bowl. Terrible.

Load of Rubbish! – I've had food processors for 35 years, this is the worst yet and also the most expensive. The plastic bowl is brittle and prone to cracking. It won't process the most basic items, unless I cut them up into small pieces first, defeating the object of the machine. The motor smells like electrical burning much of the time. I had a Sunbeam Oscar for… Read more

30 years, same machine, it was fantastic, easy to clean, then I bought a KitchenAid, that wasn't a lot better than the Breville. I've never purchased a kitchen product so bad, complete waste of money. Breville are nearly impossible to contact, they do not make it easy to complain.

Good product except for the bowl and standing by their product – This works brilliantly< I love it but I have just noticed a crack in the bowl where the spindle goes and from what I read here there will be no help for me and no discount on buying another. The price of the bowl is the price of a darn good deposit on another brand. I have never mistreated it. This is not how I thought Breville who has a good reputation in Australia would act. Show details

Initially good unit ,well used but let down by brittle bowl and by motor circuity – Bought this approx 10 years ago for approx $550 from Myers. The most expensive standalone appliance in the kitchen to date. Pros - Solid base with a 2000w motor and 25 year warranty on motor. Was a selling point. Well used in the kitchen , attachments well made , chef quality appliance with simple operations. Cons - Broke the bowl (dropped) but… Read more

pleasantly surprised that you could buy replacement ($30). Sadly the motor started to get temperamental and finally stopped.Rang Breville who pointed us to the local repair agent (that experience is another review coming soon).

Agent told only the motor is covered not the circuitry that supplies/controls it. With labour and parts quoted $200+ to fix. Not economically viable to fix.

Would I buy another Breville , possibly. I would consider extended replacement warranties at time of purchase just in case.

Burning smell after 5 uses!!! Cracked bowl! – Read the reviews!! I purchased this in 2018 and used this 5 times. Today it's given up the ghost! I got a bad burning smell from the unit and the base heated up. The unit then displayed "Overloaded" and it was only chopping 2 packets of Marie biscuits - something even a $15 food processor can do with ease! I then noticed there is a hair line… Read more

fracture in the bowl!!!! The bowl hasn't been dropped or damaged by myself! These bowls are NOT fit for purpose and should be covered under warranty.

Absolutely so angry about this!! Breville really does make crap quality.

Definitely DO NOT use this for dates or nut butters because you will burn out the motor!

Powerful motor but weak plastic – Chosen for its powerful motor. Plastic bowl replaced after stress fracture cracking made old one unhygienic. Now pcb has blown. Approx 2 years old. DO NOT BUY! – I had the previous model for about 15 years until the seal on the bowl no longer worked. As the model was no longer available I could not get a replacement bowl so bought a new BFP800. Initially I loved it until, you guessed it, the bowl cracked along the spindle. The machine is still under warranty but as Breville call the bowl a 'consumable'… Read more

they don't cover it. A new bowl will cost $210 - very expensive for a consumable! I would argue that the bowl is a part rather than a consumable. I will be taking it up with Consumer Protection because I don't believe the product performs according to it's intended use.

attachments get stuck and plastic bowl cracks – i have cracked 2 bowls. When attaching the grater or slicing blades they get stuck on the drive shaft. When removing it it cracks the bowl. which isn't good at all. its a shame because if it wasnt for this design flaw it would be a great machine. Show details

Bowls crack, not covered in warranty – The bowl cracks at the base. I have now gone through 2 bowls, each lasting about about 18 months and used on average once per week. The machine is expensive. The bowls are also expensive to repurchase and they are not covered by warranty. It clearly has a design fault with the motor just being too powerful for the bowl, causing it to fracture around the spindle. My advice, don’t go near them. Show details

Great food processor! – I find the processor comes with a lot of attachments which were really useful. It's super powerful and can handle most things you can throw of it. inside the large bowl. This means you can't have both full if processing multiple things. The small bowl is too large for small batch things like garlic. As the blades are put on after there is a space under them so ingredients can get stuck underneath. I also find myself wishing the processor had a speed setting. It only has one, fast speed setting

It's a really well priced, reliable processor though and I would buy it again.

Stay away!! Blades get stuck in bowl every time!! – I have used this kitchen wizz to make pesto from scratch. When it comes to cleaning the bowl the blades get stuck in the bowl and my husband has to help me pull it apart. The blades are super sharp and I think dangerous. We've both cut our hands badly. people at the Breville repair place couldn't do it so they just gave us a brand new bowl and set of blades. That still didn't fix the problem. This unit cost almost $400 and we spent another $100 on a 3 year customer care plan so in all $500 for a useless machine. Would never buy another Breville kitchen wizz after this lousy experience. Really disappointing.

Bowl cracks repeatedly, save your money don't buy – The food processor is very powerful and works well, but the bowls crack at the base. This happened to two bowls after 12 months of not very frequent use. This is an expensive food processor and I didn't think that the bowls would not last, plus they expensive to buy. I am very disappointed with this purchase, waste of money. Show details

Bowl Cracks Repeatedly, plastic fails – This processor works REALLY well, but the plastic bowl cracks around the base (this has happened to two bowls now) and now the large food pusher has cracked and fills with water when we wash it. And spare parts are way too expensive. Very disappointed as I bought a more expensive food processor because I thought it would last longer. Low quality polycarbonate bowl – The bowl doesn't live up to the powerful motor base. Bought the processor 3 years ago and only used approximately 15 times in all. on it what so ever. Although my processor is out of repair warranty period but the motor base still have another 22 years warranty on it . One would have though as powerful as the motor is, the bowl would be made with more durable polycarbonate to withstand a high impact when in action . Customer Service suggest I buy another bowl cost $66 and $11 delivery fee. I have to rethink about replacing the bowl or buy another brand new processor of another trusted brand.

Mixer Bowls keep cracking, no speed control, doesn't slice accurately, noisy, hard to remove blades – VERY disappointed with this. I've been through 8, yes 8 mixing bowls now over 2 years, which are expensive and now I'm done with this processor because the last one just cracked. They keep cracking at the base and all I'm doing is blending vegetables which I cut up first, and are not very hard like kale and broccoli, with the double blade. I've… Read more

wasted so much money on this machine on buying replacement bowls because it was expensive to start with, so I kept investing in the bowls so I could keep using it. It's noisy and moves on the bench. It doesn't have any speed control, it just goes so fast, so you cant get it to slice food consistently, it slices food in all sorts of thicknesses and shapes, not like the pretty slices pictured on the box! Food gets stuck in the top blade when using the spindle. It's hard to remove the blade when you need to change it or wash up, I have cut myself on it. You have to constantly jiggle it, until it finally gives way and when it does, you have no control over it in your hand as it jolts upwards out of the bowl. You can't put it in the dishwasher, it just wrecks the plastic. The inner bowl for herbs is inefficient, it splats the herbs over the top and into the main bowl, so you have to wash up both bowls and again, there is only pulse, or full pelt speed, that's it, so you get an inconsistent cut, being partly mushed up herb, and some not cut up at all. You can't pour out food from the mixer bowl, it just blobs out messily, because the pouring spout is poorly designed. This is the worst food processor I've ever had and I'm not buying Breville again after too many other Breville products I've purchased that also don't live up to the quality they should be (coffee grinder and blender which I've also replaced seals and jug for, which leaks).

Choose something else – I have had this machine for about 13months and am sad to say disappointed. I had a small Breville kitchen wizz previously that lasted more than 10 years. well.

Pros:

Large size blending bowl

Large shute opening is convenient for grating large fruits or veg

Cons:

One speed is not powerful enough for blending a variety of things - motor gets hot quickly and has to be stopped to cool down regularly

Small things like garlic gets stuck under the blades and doesn't blend well - a walnut stuck to the end of one of the blades when making pesto and scored the inside of the smaller bowl - don't love the idea of ground plastic in my food

Struggles to chop nuts for bliss balls

Plastic bowl and lid is not very sturdy and cracks easily - had to replace bowl and lid already

Fantastic and Quick Food Processor – I have owned this machine for about 18 months and still love it as much as the first time I used it. people. With this machine I can whip up a crunchy noodle salad for 100 people in 5 minutes. This has saved the volunteers a-lot of time.

For at home I use this for slicing and grating mainly. It makes slicing things thinly for a recipe so easy like onion and cabbage. I also grate me own block of cheese for home, saving on the costs of grated cheese as well as the extras they add to stop it clumping. Also great if you do preserving as it does a even slice with its slicing attachment. I love it for doing bottled beetroot. Now my son is wheat free I use it to make my own breadcrumbs etc from GF bread which saves time trying to find one in the store and the cost they charge for wheat free.

All the attachments are very well made and everything has stayed as new even after constant use in nearly 2 years. I love the storage container that comes with it to store all the attachments so your not losing them in the bottom of your drawers.

I find its not very noisy and makes quick work of anything. Now I read someone uses it to mix cake mixes, I'm going to try that since my mix master died. I find this a great tool for the kitchen and can see myself using it for many years.
