Breville RC19

No Good – I had a small Kambrook rice cooker for years till it finally died. I bought this rice cooker thinking that as it was a brand name, and dearer, it would be better, not so, it is a total disappointment, dont bother buying one, the cheap Kambrook was far superior to this useless appliance. Dearer, didn't work as well as the cheaper one,

Terrible – do not buy this product. it is a waste of money. ive used the product a few times not once did i have edible rice. none. this does not deserve one star. everything. the rice is always overcooked. if you love your rice gluggy then this product is for you. my favourite part of the rice cooker is when the water sprays out ot the sides of the lid leaving a film of rice water all over the counter.

OK – The family used this rice cooker for about 3 years until it died. It cooks rice very well. Never used the steamer tray to be honest. Even though this cooks rice very well i probably wouldn't buy this same cooker again as the teflon coating on the bowl doesn't last too long. For a Breville product i would have thought the rice cooker would have lasted more than 3 years. (As it turns out this model is no longer available) Cooks excellent rice, very easy to clean The teflon coating in the bowl deteriorates way too quickly even when used in adherence to the instruction manual
