Pros: Manuover is great. Can handle with one hand. Easy to use. Looks compact and nice . No hassle to dismentle and reassemble as cameleon or frog model. Wheels are small but good suspention.
Cons: Somethign wrong with front wheels. Can get them replaced but lazy to go. Doesnt really affect the function at all. All bugaboo accessories are very pricey if you want to match with all bugaboo products.
Overall: My first purchase a bugaboo was a gecko model. My husband searched and googgled for days to find a perfect pram our first son and came up with bugaboo. We bought one from ebay. We were very happy with gecko and used for about a year until we had an car accident which damaged our boot leaving us a damaged gecko. Then we replaced our gecko to bugaboo bee, the new model. Thanks to the insurance company for an upgrade!! It is even better with easy folding and open mechanism unlike cameleon or frog model for dismentle and reassemble. It's compact so fit my small jazz boot. Been using this for a year now, we love bee more than gecko.
Pros: Great quality. Easy to fold and unfold. Nice big basket. Can reverse face. Adjustable handle which goes nice and high. Fun options with changing the hood and liners.
Cons: Expensive. Older model is hard to change seat direction. Seat recline on older model is too reclined on the most upright setting.
Overall: I lover our bugaboo bee. We have a 2009 model so the mechanism for turning the seat and the angle of the seat in full upright position have been improved on since the model I have but it is still such a great pram. I use it on public transport regularly and have a board in the back for my older son. I love how I can dress the pram ith different hoods and liners easily as well. The rain cover is a little over engineered and could be a little simmer but it serves it's function.
It is a great high end pram but is very pricey. If you come across a second hand one that has been cared for it is a great investment if you need a lightweight and fairly compact pram. Mine has been used for two kids and is still going strong.
Pros: Easy to maneuver as it is compact & light weight. Made from best materials - easy to clean, sturdy & robust. If you can spare a few hundred dollars - it is worth it!
Cons: Sun canopy for Bee+ still didn't offer shade hence had to buy the silver Breezy Sun Canopy which is not cheap!
Overall: Once I finally get the hang of the bee plus' mechanics (which didn't take long) - I fully realised how greatly designed and engineered it was! My son used it since he was born. He sat comfortably in it even without the cocoon.
I took it everywhere with me - even to Melbourne! It's so robust - it had some scuff marks but that's about it. Polished it and it was like brand new. Seat, canopy, etc can be machine-washable and ultra durable. It's light-weight too! Made from the best materials it is! Hence, the price reflects the quality of this pram. It is worth it.
Maneuverable in shopping centres, cafes, streets and the park! It looks good too! It's reliable.
The seat can face you or face out/forward. The seat can be extended when your baby get older/bigger/taller.
You can do without the other accessories - cup holder, cocoon etc ... the advantages outweighs the disadvantages. In winter, just dressed baby warmly and he'll seat warm and snug in his Bee.
It is worth it - your baby can use it to the age of 3. And for some reason you need to sell it like I did (cause I have two babies now) - it has a good resell value in eBay.

Cons: quite expensive and all the extras are similarly priced
Overall: I have the Original Bee 2009, honestly I prefer it to the newer model as the hood is far larger and provides better sun protection. The seat is narrow but taller than most people think. My very tall two and almost a half year old fits fine. The basket is a great size for a small pusher. Love the fact it can forward and rear face, although to do the seat change is a pain and not something you want to do often.
Pros: Dream to push ( vertically pushes it self ), lightweight, easy to fold, fits in cars with tiny boot space like Getz and swift, excellent customer service !
Cons: Not stable when going up uneven curve ( have used my Maclaren quest on the same curve and it handled it very well, didn't feel it was unstable at all) - cant access break when u attach a toddler buggy board ( don't understand how that got through the aus standard ) - frame scratches so easily from folding ( scratches itself )
Overall: We purchased this as my 8 month old hated not being able to see me in his other pram
I have since sold this pram as its not stable enough to use with a buggy board and you can't access the break when the buggy board is attached

Overall: I've had many prams and strollers of the years, and I can understand the hype around bugaboos.. they are quality, well built, lovely to push prams!
The bee plus in my opinion is much nicer than the origional bee, the seat is super easy to switch from rear to front facing, steers beautifully with either my 5 month old or almost 4 year old, is quick to fold, and I love that I can change the look with different coloured hoods. The breezy canopy is also amazing for a young baby as they are completely covered from the sun.
I have a 2010 Subaru Forrester, and to fit it lenght ways in my car I need to remove the front wheels, but this is very easy to do.
I did experience the occastional shimmy on the front wheels, but under warranty bugaboo sent new wheels and fittings and this has fixed the problem.
The only thing that would make it perfect is if the seat could sit higher from the ground, but the low seat is great for older riders, so you can't have everything!

Here's a list of questions other people have asked about Bugaboo Bee / Bee Plus
Can one use the Bugaboo Bee as a car seat? If so what additional accessories are needed? Does it conform with Australian Standards?
Lorraine asked on Sep 26, 2011
Yes a car seat attachment is available but only with certain manufactures such as maxi cosi. I can't answer about Australian regulations as I don't live there. It conforms to the USA standards. I just found out that the wheels for the bee have been recalled.
RE: Bugaboo Bee
I want to buy a Nursing Mothers lambskin for this stroller. Do you know whether they would fit OK?, especially if there are safety harness in the Bugaboo. Would appreciate any information. Thanks.
Liz Olson asked on Aug 12, 2011
I have a black country lamb skin pram liner that I sometimes use with my bee
It fits fine ( not perfect )
I had to cut my own "slots" for the harness to go through as the existing one didn't match up
You just use a blade :)
Sorry I can't be more helpful but I don't know the measurement of your lamb skin
We bought the Bugaboo liner and really wished we hadn't spent the money on it- it doesn't look that great, doesn't sit too well in the pram.
Sorry I don't know anything about the Nursing Mothers lambskin.
