What’s happened to Cadbury chocolate? Less cocoa and more sugar maybe. Roses we know is shamefully bad. Had a few Favourites the other day. Awful. Had to spit out some caramello which used to be my go to. Cadbury, you have lost a loyal customer of 50yrs across your entire range. Will never buy another Cadbury again. Whittakers or Haighs for me. Far superior. Show details

What did they do? – Caramello used to have a smooth melt in your mouth chocolate that dissolved to let a burst of yummy caramel ooze. This new chocolate is grainy & the caramel is way too thick. It tastes honestly like you substituted regular Hershey chocolate in place of Cadbury chocolate it’s no where near the same. I’m completely disappointed. Show details

Horrible – I remember eating Cadbury during my childhood in Sydney, so I was very excited to see it on a shelf in an import store here in Europe. The taste is not at all what I remember. This bar tastes like grass; it's incredibly pungent and offensive to the senses. I could SMELL it before I tried eating it. What happened, Dairy Milk?

Cadbury Caramello new recipe? – My partner brought home a cadbury caramello block, always has been my favourite for many many years. Sadly it had a completely different flavour, sickly sweet and I had to throw it out. Have they changed recipe recently? Very disappointed indeed.

The new Cadbury Caramello Chocolate tastes terrible! – The new recipe is terrible. It tastes burnt and oily. We will not buy Cadbury Caramello chocolate again. Such a shame to change a recipe, that there was nothing wrong with. We could not even finish eating it.

Perfect snack! – I've loved Cadbury Caramello ever since I first tasted it! I have never been able to eat any other chocolate since then! I really hope they never change their recipe or I'll have to find somewhere else to get my fix!

this is awesme – Cadbury Caramello gets the chocolate to caramel ratio perfect. It's a little to sweet and sugary for me (I am not fond of caramel at the best of times)…

Bad taste and texture – The oily texture of Cadbury dairy milk now is terrible. Instead of spreading across my tongue it forms oily clumps. Good for Yanks maybe but not me.

Cadbury family blocks – Cadbury have now made their second attempt at putting vegetable oil in their range of chocolates.. It is American ownership of the Australian distribution that has done this. i have been a Cadbury addict for more time than I can remember, but that addiction has now been broken. All their chocolate now tastes like rubbish. It really is a shame… Read more

that we are all being denied the old quality product we once enjoyed and more of a shame that younger people today will never get to taste the enjoyment of the product that once made Cadbury a great name. Time for a new player to push Cadbury off our shelves. Nothing now Vegetable oil has ruined then texture, taste and flavour

Gooey Caramel bliss – Cadbury Caramello is so sweet and gooey. It features smooth milk chocolate with a silky caramello centre that is gooey and sticky. The caramello explodes in your mouth and mixes well with the milk chocolate. I like to put it in the fridge to keep the chocolate hard (mild to hot climate) and the caramello still stays gooey. The chocolate is very… Read more

sweet and indulgent so it limits how much you can eat before it becomes sickly sweet. Family block is a great size to share around with friends and family. Also great for putting into home made chocolate muffins for a hidden surprise. It is available from all major supermarkets and convenience stores. Reasonably priced. Gooey caramello which is smooth and sweet alongside milk chocolate

Hubby's favourite! – Caramello is my husbands favourite chocolate. Cadbury Caramello gets the chocolate to caramel ratio perfect. It's a little to sweet and sugary for me (I am not fond of caramel at the best of times) but my husband loves it and to me, this is definitely one of the better ones. It's packaged nicely in a cardboard wrap and foil, so keeps well for… Read more ·  1

quite some time.

Cadbury sells some of the best chocolate at a reasonable price in my opinion. This is sure to be a favourite. The block sizes make it easier to share with friends as well. Tasty calories/fat

Yum! Yum! Yum! – LOOOOOOve Cadbury caramello. Cadbury is by far the most superior brand. I do not even buy icecreams now if the brand is not cadbury. Other chocolate just isn't the same. I love the caramello koalas, but you have to buy the large sized ones as the chocolate tastes different, much more smoother and more creamy. yum. i am making myself hungry lol. smooth, creamy the only con is that i run out of it lol

A great tasting classic chocolate – This is a great chocolate to share with friends (then you dont have to feel so guilty about eating so much chocolate!). It has the same gooey caramel and who doesnt love the Caramello Koala. This is a family size block so its pretty good value for money. It is a bit of a solid chocolate, so its a little hard for me to break it into little pieces.… Read more ·  1

The chocolate is the same creamy chocolatey Cadbury chocolate and its so smooth and creamy to eat. This chocolate is so creamy that most of the time it just melts in my fingers. Overall, a great chocolate to have when you want to have something so yummy to eat and treat yourself. This chocolate tastes great and since it tastes so rich, I can only manage a couple of squares. Since its chocolate, I can only afford to eat a couple of squares, otherwise I can make the entire block disappear.

Simply perfect! – A very simple line extension of Cadbury's dairy milk block. They taste exactly like the Caramello Koala's, with the only difference being that this lasts longer. Cadbury Caramello is a family sized block which can readily be found in supermarkets, petrol stations and department stores. quality brand, tasty, 'I want more!' Expensive when not on sale, but the 2 for 1 sales are a bargain.

Excellent – This is my favourite chocolate, not only do you get to enjoy the usual milk chocolate from Cadbury, but there is the delicious caramel centre just waiting to burst through when you bite it. It's hard to say in words why it is so good, it's simply the best. It's often reduced in the supermarket so you can get it for a very reasonable price. Next… Read more

time you want a snack and a coffee with friends, consider a Cadbury Caromello block to share, you may be surprised how cheap it is compared to buying a chunky bar each. Inexpensive, delicious calories

Excellent – This would have to be my all time favourite creamy chocolate. I could eat a whole block in one sitting it is that good. The caramel is just really yummy and it is very hard to stop at just a few pieces. One of the yummiest flavours of Cadbury chocolate there is. The centre is just so smooth and creamy you just want to eat it all. I like that it… Read more

does not taste overly rich, making it less sweet than some other caramel brands, This yummy chocolate can be expensive at full price but they are always on special.

Good – One of my favourite Cadbury treats. It's very much like the Caramello Koala line, which I also really like. I'd recommend this is an individual treat which should be consumed in moderate portions. Delicious. Decent price, especially since Cadbury have been doing the whole "get 2 for [insert price here]" lately which makes it pretty good value when… Read more

teamed up with another Cadbury treat. This one is one of my favourites. It's easily one of the most addictive chocolates out there. For some reason, caramel just screams "eat me" and I end up finishing the block far too quickly. It's also full of sugar and fat, and has milk in it so it isn't appropriate for those with lactose intolerance.

Excellent – What is not to like about this chocolate?? It would have to be one of the best if not the best caramel and chocolate combination. The caramel is so so smooth and luscious...if you really love sweet food you have to try this product! Probably not best for those that don't like super rich, sweet chocolate and be warned, you can easily over indulge… Read more

and it can become quite sickly! For all super-sweet tooth people out there like me, this is one chocolate you can't go pass! It will get you hooked Not much except it can be messy and because of it's highly addictive taste can make you consume heaps!

Excellent – Definitely a great product for all the chocolate and caramel fans. The sweet flavours of chocolate and caramel make for a great combination of a true indulgence. The only disadvantage is that there is never enough! It's chocolate. It's caramel. What's not to like? :) I love this because of the sweet tasting caramel wrapped in Cadbury's delicious… Read more

dairy milk chocolate, which melts into a puddle of pure deliciousness in your mouth. It can be sticky and make a mess. Plus it is very addictive! It can also be expensive if you can't find it on special.
