Canon HG10

Excellent – Well I have to say I am impressed with this digi cam. It cost me an arm and a leg when I bought it, and not surprised there are no other reviews because of this reason, as it was quite expensive compared to other digi cams on the market then, but I took that risk, as it is a canon, and hoped it would give me good video footage. I confess, it is excellent. Another reason I thought of buying this one in particular, is because it has a cupped eyeviewer, instead of just the flip out screen, to take videos with. I find I have more control of what I am videoing, and don't lose the subject, especially in a sporting event. The zoom capability of it, even in the digital zoom, is better than I expected. And the most amazing thing is, that the batteries are all compatible with my canon slr 400d! So I have spare batteries and chargers as a plus. Light and compact
