Pros: Great small size that fits into your pocket nicely. Pictures are clean and accurate.
Cons: The aperture is small and does not gather that much light.
Overall: I used this camera for work and had it in my pocket while climbing bridges and tracking through the mud. The camera never got damaged during these times so I can say that it is durable enough to live in your pocket (I never dropped it).
The camera is easy to control with a enough basic options to get you through the day. In low light conditions though is where the camera could improve as images are relatively dark when compared with what some bigger cameras produced.

Pros: Small and stylish like other IXUS models. Nice auto features and 3.2 megapixels is quite good for snapshots.
Cons: Not really for the serious photographers. 3.2 megapixels is just good for small prints.
Overall: This camera is just a practical one. For the stylish and practical. Easy to use and most modes are in full auto. Its a great all around family camera.

Pros: the canon IXUS 30 is an absolute marvel,to the digital world!!! the picture quality is it's major winner,although i have always found canon to produce excellent qualitly products,i did not expect the canon IXUS 30,to be this good!!!
Cons: nothing this camera is great in everyway,i have annalized it from top to bottom,and there is absolutly no faults!!! im sorrry but i can only give it praise!!!,it is also at a resonable price for such a high qualitly digital device.
Overall: my overall view on the canon IXUS 30,is extremly good,better than first expected,but it has proven to be a very reliable digital camera from canon,that i think is most suited for family use. excellent two big thumbs up!!:D
