Overall: I have owned this camera (Japanese version IXY 31S) for 7 months now with no regrets. All I can say is the pictures quality for a camera of this price is unbelievable. One word, WOW. It comes with 5 colors and I picked silver,
It has some semi pro functions such as adjustment to speed, aperture and settings for different scene modes and lighting conditions. The touch screen is sensitive and using tap mode to view photos. It also has HDMI connection.
However, you cannot take photos with the touchscreen function.
The high-sensitivity 12.1Megapixel CMOS sensor combines with DIGIC 4 processor with HS System enables capturing images with significantly less noise in all conditions. Dynamic range is improved and users are able to capture sharp, blur-free shots of scenes in low light that would usually demand flash support. The battery last long and no over heating issue.
