Pros: Perfect size. Is a video recorder, has multiple shot option or time delay use. Large viewing area for accurate macro photos also.
Cons: There aren't any.
Overall: I have used my camera now for almost 3 years. I would say it was one of the best Canon has ever produced.

Pros: This is my third Canon Ixus and I think they are without a doubt the best little camera out there. I wouldn't buy anything else! They have really improved on each model and the upgrade has been worth it. The zoom is outstanding on the 860IS and the screen is too. I've compared photos with friends with other cameras and the Ixus is just way ahead, so much clearer and sharper.
Cons: Nothing really! Although this model is a bit chunkier than earlier models, it's still compact enough to chuck in your pocket before you go out.
Overall: I think everyone should have an Ixus, anything else just isn't as good! Friends ask for my photos because they really are so much better.

Pros: The picture quality is fantastic and it's very easy to use. I've also found the battery life to be a lot better than my previous sony t3.
Cons: It's a little larger and heavier than other canon digital cameras. Like many other digital cameras, when you zoom in too much, the image becomes too pixelated.
Overall: I was tossing between a sony T10 and this camera, but decided to go with this one. My sister has the canon ixus 70 and her images were a lot better than the sony t3 I had at the time. Aside from the weight and size of the camera, I haven't had any problems with the camera. I've had it over a year now.

Pros: Superb build, excellent image quality, wide angle lens is terrific, nice big 3-inch screen, time-lapse movie capability, image-stability control.
Overall: THis is such a great little camera. I bought it to replace another Canon IXUS as I wanted the wide-angle lens capability. My previous IXUS was a wonderful little camera but this one is even better. There are plenty of manual controls if needed, but set it to automatic and it takes a great picture. The only reason I would trade it in is to get the new version which takes HD movies.

Pros: This is a fantastic little camera. It takes fantastic photo's and the shutter is so quick from the time you press the button (great for unpredictable babies!) Photos are of great quality and enlarge really nicely. There are so many features on the camera that I've stopped using my SLR because it does near the same for me. It takes great night shots too.
Cons: When taking photo's with the flash, the foreground is usually a bit too bright for my liking leaving the background very dark. I usually find it takes a better photo without the flash, and it has to be night for it to work well. At Twilight it works really great without a flash.
Overall: This is a fantastic camera and worth the money spent. The photo quality is great and the resolution meants that it produces really clear enlargements.

Pros: Brilliant picture (took a picture of my house from 30m away and then zoomed in on the computer and was amazed at the clarity and detail I could pull out), rapid shutter response, very good movie mode (and with a 4GB card I think the digital camcorder is staying in the cupboard).
Cons: 28mm lens can take a bit of getting used to - sometimes need to zoom in to about 35mm so the shot works and avoids a fisheye factor.
Would be nice if the zoom worked when in movie mode.
Overall: Brilliant little camera - light and small so it fits in a pocket and can actually be taken with you. For proud parents wanting to capture a little boy growing up its perfect - movies and stills.
