Pros: This camera can be set to fully automatic, semi automatic or manual. It uses rechargeable A4 batteries. It is easy to hold and the screen is a great size for viewing. Shots may be blown up to poster size and it also takes video footage.
Cons: It is quite a chunky, heavy camera.
Overall: I really like this camera and it has taken some lovely family shots. It is easy to use and the software that comes with it for downloading photos/video to a computer is brilliant. Very, very user friendly. It is a lot bigger than a lot of other cameras, but I don't mind as it means the buttons are not so tiny that I feel like I need miniature fingers. The canon camera case that I purchased with it fits it beautifully, though the pocket on the front of it (where I keep my spare batteries) is only velcroed together so the contents tend to fall out.

Pros: This is a brilliant camera - buy a 2.0gb card and also a rechargeable battery device so you don't have to worry about buying batteries for this little baby!
Cons: If you use normal batteries, like any digital camera, you will be annoyed with buying so many - get a rechargeable battery pack when you buy.
Overall: We bought this cannon over the big zoom cannon as I we were heading to India and wanted to throw this into my handbag and not have to worry about having a "camera case" everywhere we went. We took over 1000 photos easily with the 2.0gb card that we bought when we bought the camera. My sister is a professional photographer and bought this camera also when she was heading overseas recently.

Pros: It has execellent features for such a small camera high zoom and high Mega Pixels and a big screen to view your photos.Great software as well easy to install on Windows XP and has a Vsita update on the Website.
Cons: Price is high and uses up normal batterie's like you own the company that makes them. Also the onboard memory size is a joke for this cmaera.
Overall: Great camera love using it in all types of light conditions the image stablition is the best think since sliced bread. Just batteries and Memory card are the downers for this camera. So do a Deal with the salesperson for a 1GB memory card and some rechargable batteries and you will never look back on your purchase.
Happy snapping.

Pros: Excellent quality photos and a big enough zoom for all occasions
Cons: It is a little dearer than I expected
Overall: I upgraded from a very basic Canon PowerShot and I am delighted with the extra zoom and better resolution.  I have had no blurred pictures with this camera and it is very easy to use.  It is a little bulkier than I am used to but it is still small enough to put in a pocket or handbag.  From a beginner upwards this is an excellent choice for your money.  I like the way Canon now include a basic manual and an advanced manual so that it is easy to get the hang of the basics functions straight away.  Some other cameras are more slimline but the slightly chunky nature means it is easier to hold and steady.  I have already recommended this model to my friends who need a good quality camera for all round photography.  It is also extremely easy to download onto the computer - it should really come with a bigger memory card.

Overall: PROS: The A710 offers a lot of camera for your money. When you look at the whole package the quality of its photo, the image stabilizer to its manual controls. definitly is a good choice.

CONS:Included memory is too small for its capabilities.

OVERALL: This Canon takes excellent pictures plus he PowerShot A710 IS has a lot to offer. At first glance the PowerShot A710 IS looks like a sleeker version of the A700 before. This is a great choice for your budget amazing quality.
