return there). When I asked why there had been no text communications updating both delays I was told ‘we’re still within our KPI of delivery before midnight’. I advised that their internal KPIs were irrelevant to this matter as I’d been told delivery would be between 6 and 10.09 and it was now 11 pm. The staff member replied that the notes on her system said I had been advised in my earlier call of a 30 to 45 minute delay. I refuted this saying that no time had been specified and that the entry did not reflect the advice (only the suburb was given). I then asked to speak to a supervisor and was advised that as this was the after hours team there was no supervisor. I was asked to hold the line and when she returned she advise that the driver would be at my place within 40 to 45 minutes as he was still fixing the other stuffed up delivery. I asked if I had been put on hands free which she confirmed, noting I had not consented to this, and I asked why. She replied it was so her supervisor could listen in!!!! At this point I asked for a follow up from the manager the following day and confirmed they would call me (not the other way) and the time frame. The delivery truck arrived only a few minutes after ending the call (surprising given that it was supposedly “30 to 40 minutes”. I went outside to collect the parcel and as I was handed it the driver asked if he could take a photo. As I was unwell and in my dressing gown I said no and he responded “too late I e already taken it”. And no, there has been no follow up from any manager. Appalling customer service. Will be writing to Jetstar who contract them to deliver late luggage about the appalling disregard for customer service, the lying and the inappropriate behaviour. The package box was wet and soggy (but not sure if this was Capital or Jetstar) but the contents were unbroken.
Our delivery was delayed by 1 day which we were advised of. I felt the office staff were lacking with communication on the scheduling, they couldn't tell me if the delivery might come morning or afternoon & really I got the impression they didn't care. following evening. I was concerned for the staff out that late in bad storms delivering. The drivers were lovely, polite, happy and efficient. They kept in touch all evening updating on arrival. A huge thank you to the truck driver and his off sider, I really appreciated the service they gave. That day during those dreadful storms they went above and beyond. I hope the company appreciates them.
Would give them 0 if I could. Booked a 5-8pm timeslot through Koala only for the driver to knock off at 6:50pm with no follow up. Called to ask what the hell was going on and got told the driver had run out of fatigue hours. be rescheduled to. Have complained to Koala directly, haven't heard anything back. Paid $85 in delivery fees and have now had to cancel plans for the prior day in case my delivery arrives.

1. Initially at 7AM, the driver called us to ask where to drop off the tile pallet. We responded promptly, guiding him to a flat surface for unloading. We even had to guide him three times on how and where to park on the road to drop off. At the time, we were concerned about the driver's awareness.
2. For reasons unclear to us, the first driver—despite finding our location and seeing our staff ready to receive the delivery—drove away and unloaded the pallets back in the Braeside warehouse instead. We immediately called Advanced Transport team and the team also admitted that this was due to the first driver's fault/negligence and agreed to organize another driver to complete the delivery at 3PM that day. We had the same construction workers waiting on site and waited for the delivery to arrive, the second attempt of delivery was carried out smoothly.
3. We’ve dealt with numerous logistics contractors, and this is the first time we’ve encountered such an issue. Most jobs like this proceed smoothly.
To conclude, we don’t believe it’s fair for us to pay for your contractor's negligence. We remain unconvinced that we should pay $500 + GST for a 17km trip from Braeside to Glen Waverley caused solely by the driver’s error.

We hired a dedicated truck to pick up a load of anodised aluminium from Wetherill Park for delivery to Terrey Hills. When the truck arrived we found according to the driver had picked up another job while doing ours and our load of material was loaded on the side of the tray and as far as the photo shows not even strapped down properly, see the security photo. In the course of delivery something happened and our load rolled over on the tray of the truck (see the second photo which shows how the load arrived on the truck. The load valued over $8,000 was badly damaged and could not be used. Capital said they had it under control and were putting a claim through their contractors insurance policy. Nearly 12 months on and we still haven't been compensated. We requested evidence from our supplier of the way the truck tied down our load. Have a look for yourself at the attached photos where the driver tied our load down with only 2 straps over the top and the load placed off centre making it even easier for a disaster.
And don't bother asking me to contact you through smediaqueries@capitaltransport.com.au, you already have ALL my details, numbers and the unpaid invoice for your damaged goods which are still here in our yard for you to collect.

Said they rang the intercom but no proof was shown to suggest this. "Delivery Attempt" photos were just black, as if taken against their clothing. Service Desk was unhelpful, rushed me along the call trying to be done with me. Sent formal complaints and specifically asked to be informed of any decisions coming from it. Only time will tell. Avoid Using Capital Transport – Captial Transport is the terrible. My delivery was booked between a certain time yet the driver still managed to deliver my product hours late. I rang to find out where my delivery was after receiving a txt to say it was only Streets away but it still had yet to be delivered. I called Capital and they were not helpful. In the dark – At 10.00 am I received a text saying the delivery was on its way and I was able to track delivery. I tried that: it told me where the van was but not when delivery could be expected. When I bought the goods I was told at the store that I would be contacted 2 hours before delivery and again 10 or 20 minutes before delivery. That didn't happen.

unloaded the two heavy mattresses at the front door step blocking our entrance and left. Leaving me (a 5’1 tall heavily pregnant lady) to deal with it myself.
I think even a stranger would have no problem to help by putting the mattress down 1 meter further so they are out of the way in such situation. The unwillingness to help with zero compassion and rude attitude is utterly shocking and disappointing.
I have given my feedback to Koala and suggested they stop using this company for their delivery as it completely ruined the shopping experience.

The delivery time was 7am-12pm and lift was booked as well as the loading bay in front of the building, I received a message later in the afternoon stating they rescheduled the delivery as they couldn’t find the parking! Apart from the loading bay there are plenty parking spots available in front of the building. They did not even call to discuss it! Avoid at all cost!
Unprofessional lowest quality service available – Driver was given clear instruction to reverse in to yard, decided to drive in and attempt to turn around, Sunk the truck, broke an underground pipe and required a tow truck to lift it out. Damaged pipe cost $900 to repair and they keep avoiding paying and making excuses. been calling them to pick it up for a week and they actually had the nerve to tell me I would have to pay more to get it there that fast. I made a formal complaint and my account manager basically said my account wasn’t big enough for him to care. I decided I would not deal with them again but then thought I’d give them one more chance. I won’t be using them again. I’ve tried to get my latest pick up done 3 times now and its still sitting at my front desk so I will just cancel it and go with interparcel
Worst experience – Capital Transport Worst transport/delivery company I’ve ever dealt with. Refused to deliver/move my freezer up the front staircase of my house. Driver left the freezer on the driveway and said he didn’t do stairs and would quit before moving the freezer upstairs. The next day Capital sent two men to move the freezer upstairs. Prior to all this I sent photos of the staircase to the retailer where I bought the freezer so that the delivery company knew what they were dealing with. The lesson learned is if Capital driver did this to me then they have certainly done it to other customers. My advice is to avoid using Capital Transport at all cost.

Why can’t couriers actually deliver? – I waited near my front door ALL day for an Officeworks delivery due 8am to 5pm. As appears to be standard for couriers in Sydney it wasn’t delivered. read the board in front of them as you drive into the carpark for directions to my unit! Told Officeworks to stick their parcel and refund me. I’ll go elsewhere. Ironically as I waited 20 minutes in Officeworks phone queue I heard messages telling me to order online (did that) and track the delivery online (also did that!). Tracking still says it’s out for delivery when it’s actually been returned to the store by the driver! So much for that! Very Poor service – Booked an job at 10.41am for standard delivery which is 4 hours no one picked the job untill 2.40pm and then upon calling the customer service person couldn't able to help and requesting to book again with express or vip service and the extra cost has to be bear by me. Hopeless. Caused me huge stress, and waste of my time – First they delivered a king-size bed base instead of a double (I only realised after I'd put the whole thing together which took about two hours). Then I had to dismantle the king, pack it up, and wait four days for them to deliver the double. When it arrived, it was missing a slat. I now have to get the missing slat sent by post.
