Poor service when you consider their items are expensive and places that are much cheaper can cancel the order so you can swap what you ordered for the right thing especially if you call within half hour to hour of ordering the items!
Chanel consider your practices as it’s not good enough in 2025! You pride yourself high quality but you’re not able to cancel them so a customer can get the right thing. Instead you make the customer do all the waiting and sending it back then wait for you to get the order so you can process the order before a refund then we have to wait how many business days to get that refund back in our accounts.The longest way round! I guess I expected exceptional shopping experience! I was delusional! Very disappointing

am lucky if it lasts an hour and that first spray smells weak and pissy. Absolutley disgusted in this change to the perfume. What a complete waste of money. It was honestly my absolute go to regardless of price, now I just want to walk back in and demand my money back. Theives
They use TNTExpress, the literal worst carrier in the universe to ship their "luxury goods". Total jokers, wasted 2 days off work and had to go to their dingy depo to pick up my items.

Chanel Les Exclusif Spray Bottle Quality Issue – I've bought at least 12 bottles of the Chanel Les Exclusif parfums over the years as love Chanel fragrance. In the last couple of month my Cuir Du Russie parfum has evaporated to less than a third of a bottle. to now be a third full, I knew something was wrong. When I looked at the top of the bottle and in the lid, sticky evaporated perfume is oozing out of the spray mechanism. It's never been on planes or has it been dropped and all of my perfume is kept in cabinets. I’ve done some more research and apparently it is a known issue with the Chanel Les Exclusif spray bottles. I love Chanel perfume, but would be very cautious about buying again with this known issue. There are many perfume forums with clients with similar issues.
I raised it with Chanel Customer Support after talking to one of the ladies in the Chanel Boutique I bought it in and received an email back after sending photo evidence, who replied that due to the age of the bottle, they would not replace it or even offer a lesser value perfume (due to the age or the fact I'd used some of it). I thought I'd bought it around 3 years ago, they're saying the eau de toilette was not manufactured in this range since 2017 and would have been phased out after that. As it's not such a popular one, it could have taken some years to sell all of the eau de toilette, but agree it is older than I had thought. Regardless, it was a very expensive perfume and it's a known fault and quality issue with the bottle. In my opinion, it should have been replaced. Consequently, they've lost a long standing customer through it and I've spent thousands over the years with them. I'm also now worried the rest of my Chanel Les Exclusif perfumes will have similar issues.
I think this has been a missed opportunity, I would have continued to be a staunch supporter of Chanel fragrance, if the outcome had been different. I suggest in future, that this be considered and the longer term view of keeping customers happy be considered the better option, especially the high cost of these perfumes! Happy customers equals longer term future sales. I asked that my feedback be passed on to senior management, but it's been a few days now and no response.
Avoid.... if you don't want to be humiliated – Very 'Rude' customer service from Chanel Myer Sydney City. The person (African descend) thought I would not buy from them, even after when I bought products and was paying, the person made fun of me as he didn’t want to scan my Myer card before the payment was processed. I love Chanel products but their customer service is horrible.
Dissapointing – It's surprising that they do not do refunds even though the product was purchased by fraud basis. I was only trying to change the card from the wrong card used by the fraud to the correct card owned by the fraud. They declined to change the card. Show details

sit tightly in the travel canister launched out of the canister when picked up from the shelf. Chanel state that the product is innovative. More like it is either faulty or not fit for purpose. When head office was called in Sydney, Chanel said words to the effect of, the product was not sold faulty, inferring that some-how this product deteriorated in just 2 weeks from a fault of the owner. What an arrogant and ignorant response! I question the quality of all Chanel products now. Clearly they have no pride in quality if their modus operandi is to blame customers for the company’s poor design or fault. The company must lack quality assurance protocols which one would expect from a luxury brand. This is a potential claim under Australian Consumer Law. From this experience, I caution the market not buy this product or seek reassurance in writing of the quality before purchasing any Chanel products, as their quality clearly does not meet their claimed standards.
No customer service – No customer service. You have to follow up on repairs. No updates then when you go into the store you have to wait not one person apologed for the lack of service & when you ask what is happening get told to just wait. Rude! Service is disgusting Show details
No Customer Service – Worst Service. Took my sunglasses in as covered under warranty was advise could not fix then they wanted to upsize me but then gave me the wrong price & it was my fault. Terrible – Trying to redeem reward, an impossible task. The app does not work. You can not call them. Telstra employees aren’t allowed to call them. breeched and not honoured. The manager did not even have the guts to call me just sent a message, and a rude one at that. I have worked in Florence Italy in London high end boutiques but never in my whole carrier of 40years met anyone on this level of bad customer service in my life. To have a brand name like Chanel associated with these sale people is not a good look for the company. In my personal opinion ion and experience.

Hilarious – I’ve been buying sublimage products and Chanel chance perfume for the last decade and I do purchase products from other brands too. I recently bought a new bottle of chance eau fraiche and the “free gift” was ridiculous. What the? Once you remove the product you purchased, your “free gift” is an empty box. Your “free gift” is packaging! Hahaahaaaa what can you do with an empty box branded Chanel? You can’t even repurpose it and give it to someone. Hahaa they’ll look at you and ask why you gave them an empty box? Anyway, it’s going in the bin and is a complete waste of resources.

clearly inexperienced assistant - the only one in sight in all of David Jones’s cosmetic section - insisted I needed to go the next shade up. Darker. Without a tester and appalling light in the shop, I “bought” her argument. Now I look like Donald Trump and unlike him, am afraid to show my face in public. Revolting. The only time I did, friends kindly told me what I knew to be the truth anyway. I looked grotesque. Thumbs down to David Jones for their lack of genuine customer assistance (I was told all the testers get stolen these days) and thumbs down to Chanel for not looking after its supply chain. Bleu De Chanel - Eau De Parfum Pour Homme – Received Bleu De Chanel Eau De Parfum for fathers day 2020, fragrance very good, longevity very poor, less than 30 minutes and no hint of the fragrance. For such a well respected company this is one product in their impressive range to avoid all together, very disappointing.

2018 watch sent in to the via courier, due to Xmas nothing till 26 January 2019, explained to me battery had to be replaced, and with regards to scratch they would need to follow up with Hong Kong store, after many chase up emails and phone calls, Recurved this reply.

As you can imagine, I was shocked to receive this response for a watch that is clearly expensive, and felt that I was being blamed for something I obviously did not do.
Disappointed
Lowered standards – I went into Myer in Sydney to look for lipsticks in 3 shades. After enquiring with a recent hire of theirs I was told by her that she’s “new here and she finks she has ve free colours I was looking for” I had to laugh and then I walked away. When Chanel starts hiring people who they think not fink can speak English properly I might return.
My favorite – Amazing moisturizing creams, serums...my favorite go to..i love Guerlain too..but Chanel is my absolute fav...i tried all the drug store, medical spa and high end..i go back to Chanel. Sisley and La prairie are close.
Love it – I really love this foundation, it works with my skin amazingly, good coverage, doesn't emphasize pores, rough skin texture, or peach fuzz, good colour match, lasting power (on my combo skin), turns into a lovely silky smooth powder/matte finish and it doesn't break me out. Show reply

My going out makeup! – I have used both mat lumiere foundation and now another called mat perfection (not 100% on the name), I love both of them as my face doesn't go shiny! I tend to keep these for going out / occasions as they can clog the pores a bit and aren't exactly cheap. The newer one smells amazing too ! Quality product , good coverage

foundation straight away. All ways resulted in the same. Make up just came straight off. The bit that did stay on, after a slight bit of moisture or sweat, if I touched my face, it once again, came straight off.
Didn't even feel nice going on. Felt like paint.
