Best tasting toothpast ever. Nothing compares to it – I have been using closeup tooth paste since 1962 when my older sister introduced it to me. I had to send it home when I went to boot camp because the military supplied ours but after boot camp I started using it again and have used nothing but closeup since. Just like the taste; reminds me of some cough-lolly ! – Just like the taste; reminds me of some cough-lolly ! This tooth-past is a thick red translucent gell; couldn't get to the bottom of why it is no longer sold; probably the best way to force it's reappearance is for someone to import a bulk quantity (to Australia)and start selling on ebay. I have used & referred Close Up for 30 years - no other toothpaste work like it

- Red Gel leaves a great taste in your mouth, Your teeth and mouth feel so alive, clean and fresh, It's like that dentist clean feeling and you love brushing.

- Millions of people use it in USA, Asia, India etc

- Check the Internet, lots of Aussies want to keep using Close Up, this product must be made available again on-line and/or in shops like before.

- In the meantime you can purchase Online from USA, $ 4.00 per tube or India(Rip-off) $10.00 per tube.

- Also I spoke to Unilever Customer Service 1800 888 449 on Wednesday 21/5/2015 and they advised me they are looking at trying to get it in the shops

Can't find it anymore – The best toothpaste , clean fresh taste and actually different to all the other brands that taste the same.PLease bring it back to supermarket and chemist shelves!

The best toothpaste ever ! – I adore the fresh taste after brushing and it feels like I just had my teeth clean by a dentist as well. This toothpaste beats the rest of them other brands in fresh taste and cleanliness :) Although it's not available in most retail stores like Big W where I normally purchase it ?

Where is it to be found – Everyone that uses Close-up, is very disappointed in in not being able to obtain this product anywhere. The rights to this product was taken over from Unilever, by Pental, and they do not appear to make it anymore. It would be nice if it could be purchased direct from Pental. Adore it – This is the King of toothpast. It smells divine, tastes even better and leaves your mouth feeling very clean and fresh. Shows what dingbats the buyers from Woolies and Coles are that they discountinued it. I love the red one. Will NOT buy any colgate brands. Years of use – I have been using Closeup for many years and at this moment I am unable to find any at Woolies are you still making it. I've been using it for years but can't find it in the shops anymore – From the day Close Up 1st hit the shops I purchased this toothpaste and I have converted over 90% of my family onto it and away from Colgate. The formula has changed a bit over the years and with several buy outs of the companies, but it is still a top toothpaste and mouth freshener and great value. Please tell me where to find it – I have been using green Close-Up toothpaste for well over twenty years, in fact I think I was able to buy it in the USA in about 1982 (not sure of this). It has been quite hard to find in the past few years and both Coles and Woolworths (in Tasmania, at least) no longer stock it. it has a mild flavour to it. Does a good job of leaving your teeth feeling clean. There are none, it is not bad as far as toothpaste goes and it generally has a mild taste to it.

OK – I would say this is a good paste for those who want a little zing after brushing but not for those who like a minty after taste. It does the job! Leaves your mouth feeling refreshed for some time after use. Teeth appear whiter after use. Nice flavour. I like the product but prefer a minty after taste that I didn't get from this product.

is good +. and price wise it is good so overall this is one you should really give it a try. I would certainly recommend this to my family and my friends. It gives your teeth and mouth a very intense clean and it tastes wonderful also.

other similar toothpaste products that you find at the supermarket. It does the job and leaves your mouth feeling fresh and your teeth cleaner. It comes in gel variety which I find has a nice mild flavour.

This toothpaste cleans teeth beautifully, shiny and leaves a very good scent in the mouth as it is a toothpaste and mouthwash combined. A little bit of this toothpaste goes a long way, as it lathers a lot and truly cleans teeth; you can tell that after brushing.
