Pros: Very small,Lightweight, seat lays flat, wide sun shade.
Cons: Small storage basket. Not great for any non flat terrain(due to small wheel)
Overall: Purchased in February 2011 for 1st bub who is now 14months old.
Was looking for a lightweight pram which can be folded with one hand and fits in our tiny Daewoo Matiz Boot. This Pram is brilliant on the train and buses as well, easy to manage due to it's very small size. The covers are very durable and fully washable.Reversible handle.Multi-recline seat.
Pros: Very light, easy to fold, reversible, not complicated, compact
Cons: Slightly expensive
Overall: My wife and I spent weeks looking for a stroller. Finally, we decided to buy combi.
The one we bought is very easy to use, open and store. It is a bit hard to believe how light it is, my wife has no trouble to use herself alone at all. This stroller can easily fit into our Honda Jazz. Pushing it around the crowded shops and supermarkets are easy. We also like the design and look of the stroller, don't need much maintenance.
The last couple of months we watched parents struggling around shopping centers with their massive prams and we decided we wanted something compact yet well built. We looked at a multitude of prams but in the end we decided on the Ricco as it ticked all our requirements!
Have used it around the house (practice) and it is very easy to use...I still cannot get over how light it is!
Pros: Easy to switch reversible handle, compact size, light weight and stylish looks
Cons: Reverse mode a bit hard to control but is not a big problem with some practice and tricks
Overall: This is a very stylish and well made pram that reflects its Japanese design and engineering. The frame is very lightweight but robust, the fabrics and straps are very soft, the plastic parts have no sharp edges, the moving parts glide and click smoothly, and the compact size makes it's very practical for tight spaces like small cars, shopping aisles and public transport. I've had friends and random people on the street commenting on how cute and compact it is. It's definitely a premium baby travel product at a fraction of the price of its European counterparts.
Pros: Lightweight, well made with lots of great features.
Overall: Our baby isn't due for another 2.5 month, however we have done a lot of research and looked at a lot of prams. A friend of ours has this model as well so we were able to get their feedback. After a lot of thinking we decided on a Combi Ricco W Pram. I've used a Maclaren Vogue before (for our 7 year old), which we don't have anymore. Originally, we were keen to replace it with a Maclaren Techno XT but decided on a Combi based on a couple of factors:
1. Ease of use. Being able to collapse the pram and open it up again single handedly is very useful. With the Maclaren, you have to bend over and push it to the ground in order to fully collapse it. In addition, with the Combi, the stroller remains standing when collapsed so there is no bending over or need to leave it on the ground (like in a dirty shopping centre parking lot, or when it has been raining) before putting it into the boot.
2. The pram is reversible so you can have your new baby facing you. This seems like a great idea!
3. Our Combi comes with some really nice padding which just seem to make it more comfortable than a Maclaren (just place your hand on the seat and backrest and press see what I mean).
4. The shade cover is massive and can almost encapsulate the entire pram. We envisage that this will be very useful for when baby is sleeping.
We ended up buying the Ricco W and we were so happy, I ended up putting a little teddy bear in the seat, strapping him in, and taking a picture of it! In 2.5 months we will be able to strap in the real thing! :)
Overall: I am SO happy with the Ricco W stroller. I haven't come across any pram that is quite so easy to use, yet still with all the extras that you need in a decent stroller. I LOVE the fact that it is so light, in fact I think that is the best part. Other prams weigh three times as much and are harder to steer! I also love the reversible handle and the full canopy, as well as the fact that you can pull the front bar aside if you need to. Overall I am extremely pleased with this product.
