Really great from birth onwards! – This pram is light. I can fold it then pick it up and load it into the car using just one hand. Fabulous! The basket is big enough to hold a nappy bag and snacks. The pram has the ability to switch direction, so you have baby facing you however, the steering takes a LOT to get used to, as the swivelling wheels are now at the back, not… Read more
front. Also, I found that I had to adjust my stance and stride so I wasn't kicking the pram.
The wheels are solid and on the small side, so are great on smoother surfaces. Bumpy foot paths, gravel, grass and going cross-country is not easy. Fantastic in shopping centres and in the city (as intended by Combi I'm sure).
All the fabrics can be washed, except I'm yet to work out how to remove the hood to wash that.
The seat area is padded and comfortable. The seat reclines to almost flat, to almost 90° so suits a newborn through to a tired, sleepy 4yo.
This pram has been in use from 2012 to 2017 constantly (2 children using at different times) and is running supremely well.
As these have been discontinued, I would recommend checking out second hand ones, as mine still has a lot of life in it.
Can't wait to use – Update November 2015: The pram has since been sold. It has served us very well. I now own an expensive double pram, which is a bit of an exercise to get ready. I miss how easy the Combi was. _________________________________________ Went to Bubs Baby Shops today to have a look at baby stuff. Wasn't supposed to buy anything yet. We were… Read more
initially looking at Maclarens because it is quite well known, but after being introduced to the features of the Combi we were sold and got one on the spot. Love that it is lightweight, UV rated, suitable from birth, and very easy to operate. Well padded and looks so comfy for baby and washable too so poo and vomit can be dealt with properly. Well ventilated, with a very accessible basket at the bottom even when fully reclined. Highly recommended for new parents like me and hubby who are overwhelmed with choices out there. :-) Lightweight and easy to operate - can fold and expand using one hand. No bending! A bit on the high end, but I think worth the money.
Light, stylish, comfortable for bub and HUGE canopy! – Bought one secondhand recently for an upcoming plane trip and after using it for a few days to get bub used to the stroller i felt compelled to write a review. Bub slept so easily in the stroller thanks to the massive canopy that makes the stroller cosy for bub to sleep in. The canopy reaches all the way to the belly bar. Combined with the… Read more
footmuff bub sleeping area is really dark. The size of the canopy was the main reason i wanted a combi.
It folds so easily with one hand and is quite light. I plan to now use this stroller as my everyday one due to it also being narrow and zippy. Easily navigates shipping aisles!
The basket size is brilliant. Can access items even when bub sleeping.
Build of stroller is great although it can sound rickety probably due to the way it folds and because it's light.
Only thing i don't really liked is the brake on the back single wheels are a bit hard to press down with your foot. To lift the brake off i sometimes need to use my hand rather than my foot.
Due to the hood and the handle you can't really have stroller organisers as the hood gets in the way however that hadn't stopped me from using a stroller organizer. I just need to move it out of the way when i need to recliner the seat or fold up the stroller.
I love the footmuff. My bub is still quite young so he looks like he's in a reclining chair when he's in the combi. Very relaxing! I even tuck a pram blanket inside the footmuff and you can even fold the stroller with the blanket tucked inside the footmuff. It's a good way to store it! Keeps bub socks from falling out of the stroller.

Great pram, light and durable – It is one of the lightest prams on the market, super easy to steer and move. It folds / unfolds easily with one hand, which is really handy when you have a crying baby. It's light enough to use one hand to put into the car and out. It's very durable and have not had any issues.
Perfect pram for busy mummy – I bought this pram second-hand on gumtree. Originally it was used as a back up pram, however, it was so good that I sold my first pram and used it all the time. The pram was light (7.6kg), easy to operate (can open up and fold using one hand) and packed with functions. I also used the pram when I took my 13 month old baby to Asia last year which was a lifesaver - can't imagine my life without this pram
Good pram and easy manuever – Easy to manuever and very light pram that can be fold even in just one hand. Using this in my newborn baby and very happy that seat cab be turn like a bassinet that baby can lie down and can change to rear facing. Best to use in the city or in a fine road but not good to manuever in the park or grass, (hard to manuever) Overall rating is best pram for low price.
Light weight walker – OMG!... This is absolutely great stroller. Very light weight and easy when you travelling. Easy to fold and easy to carry it can fit in any small car. You will love it and absolutely recommend anyone looking for a small pram. It does have a storage section to put your bag or nappies.
Very light – It's very light weight, easy to fold and unfold. The quality is pretty good too. Two ways design so small baby can see you. The cover is easy to take off and can use washing machine to wash. Just need to be careful when carrying on the lumpy road as it may leaning forward.
Bought this secondhand - very practical and super light weight! – Bought this stroller secondhand so we could take it traveling as we had a Bob Revolution and it was super heavy. Bubs was 9 months when I switched her to using it as she hated the Bob as it was too reclined and wanted to sit up and hold stuff. The handle in the front was great to keep her in control (by her holding the rails), and we bought it… Read more
because I liked that I can flip her from facing me to not facing me depending on the sun positioning. It's super light, takes a second to fold down. Only thing is the stroller really is only for smooth pavements and shopping areas, it's nothing like our Bob stroller in that department!
easy to use – This pram is very easy to use and very easy to fold. It's also quite light. It takes up some space even when folded but other than that, very good pram. It also has a reversing handle so you can face your baby or face them outward. Has an easy (for the baby) to use sun/rain cover as well. Beige version stains easily so you may want to get a darker colour.
perfect light weight pram for doing everything with one hand – I purchased this pram in 2010 for my daughter for weight and ease of use. This pram is very easy to operate one handed and fits in any car. It is reversible so when they are babies you can look at them or change direction depending on sun. I had this pram for 6 yrs through 2 children. It was washable. But the best part was I couldn't find a… Read more
light weight pram for 2 children that was as good and robust as this. So I put the seat to a flat position and could easily put the 2 girls in pram and go walking or shopping. This was the best baby purchase I ever made and would highly recommend this 6 kg pram to anyone.
Seriously, this is almost perfect! – Price? cheap! you can get it for only $350 from any baby shop. weight? Jesus, this is LIGHT! I mean LIGHT, seriously LIGHT!!!! I have a Baby Jogger City select and a Quinny, but Combi is the one I like the most! folding? Fast and Furious! in one second, you can fold/unfold the pram seat? it can recline to almost flat position and it is long... … Read more

God, I am so glad I got this pram before going overseas trip, so easy to get on the plane and all the travel.
LOVE it!
5 years on and still going strong! – I've had my urban walker for just over 5 years now and it is still going strong! I was able to use it up for just over 4 years for my daughter and have been using it for the past 12 months for my son (just turned one). Still such a wonderful stroller with absolutely no issues. All materials can be easily washed and still looks super stylish and again is still one of the narrowest lightest strollers on the market. Highly recommend.

Great light weight pram – I love this pram as it is light and easy to fold up one handed with just a click of two buttons. It has a wonderful huge sunshade that extends right over. Another good feature is when my baby was little having the boot cover on made it like a bassinette pram. The only thing with this pram is with it in rear facing (baby looking at you) it is a bit awkward to push around.
Love this light pram and so easy to use! – We bought this for our little one 6 months ago. My daughter wants to plays with it almost every day. You can push and control it easy enough with one hand. It goes everywhere with us inside and outdoors and the ride is so smooth. It stands on its own, it is light, the material is high quality and easy to wipe down. it and relax and has even taken a few naps in it when reclined. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great value.
Cute Pram, not very practical – We bought this pram not thinking about future children. There is no capacity for a second seat, it is awful in rear facing mode, you end up kicking the wheels all the time. We have since bought a strider compact and wish we hadn't wasted the money on the Combi. It is a very nice looking pram and is very light but that's about it unfortunately. Aesthetically pleasing, lightweight Terrible in rear facing mode, no capacity for second child
Excellent pram / stroller with everything you need & want – This is such a great pram. I did my research throughly before purchasing a pram for my first child and I am glad I did. We bought our Urban Walker Prestige second hand and it is the best purchase we made. We have used other params and this is by far the best. It's light weight, turns on a dime, big storage basket, my daughter is comfortable and… Read more
loves it, large sun shade so you don't have to purchase any additional attachments or carry a wrap to put over the top, reverse handle. it's the bees knees. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great little, light pram. Reverse handle, light weight, sturdy, comfortable for child, easy to turn and manoeuvre, looks good, excellent shade
Two years on, still loving it! – I spent an enormous amount of time researching prams (along with everything else) in my few weeks off work prior to having my baby, and I chose this pram because it was lightweight, not a huge, wide thing that would struggle through doorways and shopping aisles, steered really well, has a reversible handle (so baby can face either toward you or… Read more
away from you), and a great price. And it lived up to everything I hoped for. I've used this pram so much as I don't usually have a car to get around in, and spent many, many nights in the first year walking my boy to sleep around the neighbourhood in this pram! At only 6.3kg, I could lift this with one hand at 9 months pregnant and I am little! This has made getting around much easier - no trouble lifting the pram over the gap between train and station, in and out of the car boot, and getting up and down stairs myself if there was nobody around to help. I cannot imagine how I would have managed with one of those huge 14 kg prams! I wanted to be free to get out and about with no fuss. One of the concerns I read about when considering this one was whether it was too narrow and the baby would have insufficient room as they grew, but my boy is over 2 now and he still has plenty of room, can sleep very happily in it, play with his toys - no problem. The boot cover was perfect when he was little, keeping him all snug and also providing a great spot to tuck a lightweight blanket or a teddy to keep on hand, and of course the rain cover is super handy for those days when you don't want to let the weather hold you back, or a late afternoon storm catches you by surprise. The basket under the pram carriage holds a generous amount of baggage and has been fantastic for grocery shopping. The hood is also way better than many other models were - comes right down when you need to keep the low, setting sun out of bub's eyes. Called with an enquiry about the pram before I started using it and Combi were absolutely brilliant, so helpful. I'd highly recommend the Combi Urban Walker Prestige for anyone looking for a great, reliable pram to get about town with quickly and easily. Lightweight, not bulky, easy to get around with, smooth steering, reversible handle, competitively priced, plenty of storage in basket While great for everyday use, if you are really after a pram designed for use on uneven terrain, I don't think this is the ideal choice for you.
Extend the handle make all wheels 360o!!!! – I've now had my stroller for 2 years now. It's still sturdy, it's strong, it goes and nothing has fallen apart. I've washed the fabric, thrown it in the machine and has come out brand new, brilliant! But.... The handle definitely needs to be extended, i dont care what excuse you come back with Combo representatives but you seriously HAVE TO have… Read more
the handle extended and all 4 wheels MUST rotate 360o.
I firmly believe if you fixed those two issues you will have 100% satisfied customers!
I will even sell my one and buy the modified one! light, easy to fold, fabric washable, great when baby facing forward. extremely short handle when in reverse you kick the wheels constantly! All 4 wheels need to rotate not just the front 2. Extremely hard to manouver when in reverse.
Buy this if you need a good quality, lightweight and compact pram – If I hadn't known that the steering in reverse was something to think about before buying this would probably be getting 4 stars but it really isn't as difficult (for me or my wife) as it's made out to be by some of the other reviews. The most stand-out feature to us is probably how slim it is, which makes manoeuvring in shopping centres and homes… Read more
nice and simple. You're not going to find a pram that ticks every box but if what you're looking for is something lightweight, compact and well built then this is the best we found. Light, compact, build quality. Steering in reverse takes a bit of practice.
OK – We purchased because of the ability to reverse, feet cover and the large canopy. The steering in reverse is terrible and the handle too low. Also you can't lift the front wheels when going up a small step in reverse. The canopy is great and covers bub well. What I have found is that it is narrow and short now that my son is 5.5 months. purchased with a view of long term use but I'm not sure how long he will fit in it for. As it was not cheap, I don't think the expense warrants the feet cover and large canopy where you can use a blanket and wrap instead. Light weight, large canopy, feet cover Reverse steering terrible, narrow/short
Not so great for my toddler – We bought this pram mainly because it was light weight (great for my bad back) and could be reversed so I could see bub. We also read great reviews about it. While it is very light weight and can be folded and lifted in/out of the boot with one hand, the pram was almost un-useable in reverse mode. I anticipated 'learning' how to 'drive' it in… Read more
reverse, but it proved impossible/not worth the effort.
The pram was good while my daughter was small. I liked that it lay down, was small enough to navigate shops with narrow aisles and busy cafes and even the small basket was big enough to fit a little bit of shopping in there. But now that she's 17 months, it's just not practical. The backrest doesn't sit upright enough and she ends up slouching and complaining, with her feet up on the bumper bar (which you cannot remove). And it turns out the crotch strap isn't attached to the pram, as I discovered when she wriggled enough that the strap came out and she was hanging over the edge of the pram and only held in by the straps under her arms.
It also got harder to push as she got bigger and is now only (semi) useful in shops, or where the pathways are completely flat. Even the footpath is too much hard work and I've had to buy a separate walking pram. I am now looking to buy a different stroller to replace the Combi.
I would not recommend this pram. Lightweight, easy to fold, fits in small shops/busy cafes Useless in reverse mode, does not sit upright enough for my toddler, brakes can only be released by foot if you're wearing shoes (can't do it if you're wearing thongs), the crotch strap is not attached to the pram and comes loose when my toddler wriggles too much, my toddler does not seem comfortable and slouches all the time.

Combi Urban Walker Prestige- very happy with this purchase – We bought this product after doing LOTS of research. I am small and was concerned with back problems after having baby, so wanted a light weight pram that was easy to open/close. This pram was the one that best fit the bill. An added bonus is that it also stands upright in the closed position and I can take it out of the car and open it with one… Read more
hand while holding baby in the other. I also like the big canopy that virtually closes and the fact that it is compact so I can wizz around shopping centres without any problems. Very happy with this pram. light weight, compact, easy to open/close, great big canopy A bit awkward to steer in the rear facing mode- but pros far outweigh the cons!
A real deal – Bought this buggy for my little one. Weight is like a feather and easy to handle. Fits easily in my car boot . Baby loves it and his mum loves it. I bought it from Baby Bunting and they match the match with online store so that was a big saving. Thanks you Combi and Thank you Baby Bunting. Light Weight, Convertible, Looks good. Sometimes feet hit the buggy when walking baby facing side. Show reply
Good but not great – I purchased this pram based on the raving reviews from various websites. However, I'm disappointed with it. I'll start with the negatives: - Pram is absolutely awful in rear facing mode. The steering is terrible and has a mind of it's own. Lets face it, we all want to look at our newborns in the pram so this was a major let down for me. I… Read more
could never see my beautiful daughter in the pram. The handle bar is way too low ( in rear facing) and I feel like I have to slump over the pram to push it...very awkward.
- pram does not do well on rougher surfaces. It sounds clunky and not very sturdy unless you're in a shopping centre with smooth flooring.
- The locking mechanisms on the wheels are too hard to push and pull with your foot. I find that I have to bend down to lock and unlock with my hand
- The basket underneath is very small and flimsy and also difficult to reach in rear facing mode.
- I'm concerned that it may be too narrow when my daughter gets older
- the seat belt it difficult to adjust and just doesn't suit newborns
- Apart from a rain cover, there are no accessories; no pram inserts, seat belt covers, coffee cup holders...nothing.
- the boot cover for newborns is flimsy and tacky
- only 2 colours to choose from
The positives:
- it's so lightweight that I can lift with one hand which makes it easy to lift in and out of the boot
- It folds easily and stands upright meaning you don't have to lay it down on a dirty floor
- being quite narrow I can navigate smaller spaces that other prams can't
- canopy is enormous and shelters baby really well
- the adjustable back (flat to upright) means that even when daughter is older i can lay it flat and she can sleep. A feature that not many other prams have
- it's small so it doesn't take up much boot space
Overall for me the negatives outweigh the positives and I wouldn't purchase again. Inexpensive, Lightweight, easy to navigate tight spaces, easy to fold Pram feels somewhat flimsy, terrible steering in reverse, handle bar too low
Save my back! – After reading many reviews on this page. I decided to go ahead & purchased this pram. Best decision ever. Very light weight& super easy fold. No need to bend down & pick it up. Easy as ABC! Reversed handle is not good for taller person but other than that it is value for money as I got 25% discount! The shoulder harness doesn't have padding… Read more
(unlike my Maclaren stroller) & easily come off when not buckle in.
This pram fit perfectly into the boot of a Corrolla hatchback & with some space left over for shopping! Light weight & when fold it is upright. Easy to pick up Reversed handle is low for taller people. Shoulder straps look unconrtable & easily come off when not buckled.
Not good for tall parents – I bought this as a second pram to have for getting out and about at the shops (my other pram is a Baby Jogger City Mini GT). What attracted me to this pram was the reversible handle and the "one, two" easy fold away. After watching the promotional videos where the Combi representative insists that he is over six foot tall and can comfortably… Read more
manage the pram I was sold.
A pram that has a reversible handle, is easy to fold away and will be comfortable for a tall parent sounded great! In reality, however, the reversible handle is more of a hassle than its worth and the pram handle is far too low for a tall parent (I'm 179cm). Steering in reverse is Awful! I find that when browsing aisles, I have to pull the pram behind me to get it to move straight. Very clunky.
To add to this, the breaks on all four sets of wheels is a pain and they can't always be opened by using your foot - it's not fun bending down in a busy shopping centre carpark to release the breaks with your hands. The easy fold away is good, but the pram is awkward to put into the boot of a small car.
If I had my time over I would not purchase this pram again. The pram folds away easily and is quite narrow, so it is good for shopping. Low handle height, awful to steer in reverse.
Didn't know how good it was until I tried another pram! – As other reviewers mention, it is extremely lightweight, and folds up one-handed - that's perfect for me as I get on and off buses all the time. The handling is excellent while forward facing - I've only tried rear facing a few times and felt like a drunk driver, but my little girl likes to face forwards anyway. I would say that the sun… Read more
canopy doesn't work all that well for us - the part which is a horizontal sheild is very short, and then it comes down vertically to "close off" the pram, and my little girl just pushes it up with her head, sitting forward at a funny angle (really hard to explain but if you look at the demo video on their website you'll get what I mean). So I just leave it back, meaning she gets more sun.
Also, the styling leaves a fair bit to be desired. I have the grey so it doesn't get obviously dirty, but it doesn't look as nice as... well... any other pram I've seen!
But I wouldn't trade it. I recently visited my mum's for a couple of weeks, and she has a steelcraft acclaim. After pushing around that heavy, unwieldy monster, I was so glad to come back to my little combi! Light, easy fold, easy to manoeuvre Ugly (sorry!), canopy doesn't suit my daughter, basket a bit small
Great and lightweight but one gripe – I love that the pram is lightweight, makes it very easy to take it in and out of the car. It is a little narrow and my son is now 14 months, not sure if its wide enough for the future but let's see. The one gripe I have is the canopy/cover is flimsy. When folded up, and not being used, it sort of just hangs there and does not seem solid or rigid… Read more
enough like other prams out there. It is also a little bumpy and sometimes feels like all 4 wheels aren't touching the ground at the same time while walking. In hindsight might have gone with city mini. Lightweight, one hand fold quick and easy Canopy/cover flimsy, reverse steering too hard, bumpy ride, narrow for growing child
Great for city life! – Great, light weight stroller. Very fantastic at maneuvering tight corners e.g. in shops and supermarkets. Easy to fold, packs well into a car boot. Love the bootie attachment and that the canopy covers almost all the way down. Only downside is that it is very hard to steer in the reverse facing direction. Small thing though! Light, easy to fold, great steering. Reverse facing not as useful
great light weight easy fold pram! – Love that it is light weight, easy one hand fold and unfold capability, washable material and that the canopy comes all the way down to block out sun or wind or nosy peeps! Three gripes I have is that it's harder to steer when handle is in baby facing mode, there is no cup holder for the parent, not even as an add on accessory, and the basket is… Read more

Close to best! – Our first pram for my first daughter. Loving it. It got more/less all the features that a pram should have on it. Easy to pack and fits in car back. It also fit in front sit of my sedan car. Reverse handle option is the best part of this pram. Altogether strong product. Easy to pack, reverse handle, cool color, smart! Best pram on the market! – Absoloutely love the combi! It's one of the best prams on the market and we have been using it since my son was born and he is now 22 months old! Excellent Customer Service! – There are so many things I love about this stroller... 1. lightweight - i have often held my baby in one arm and the stroller in the other to get up and down stairs. 2. compact - fits in the boot of our two door Honda Civic easily, great for the supermarket and can fit through the normal turnstiles at the train station. 3. quick, easy fold - as… Read more · 1
in point one, can fold with my baby in my arms.
4. sunhood - comes right down for complete protection without clipping on a muslin like required for other prams. Also the ventilation windows are great for keeping an eye on your baby while walking.
5. reversible handle - don't need to detach the seat to change directions. I also didn't find steering to be a problem in either direction.
6. durable - I have had no problem walking up and down hills, over grass, gravel etc.
7. comfortable - my baby happily sleeps for hours in this stroller.
I really do wish this stroller was the solution to all my needs however I now need to buy a new stroller due to a major issue. My 11week old baby is now too tall to fit in the lie flat position while strapped in. His head touches the top which folds up when laying flat. I can see that there will be more room when he sits up but he is still too young for this and I would hope that it would be able to be used in a recline position for quick naps on the go when the child is older.
EDIT:
Thank you to [name removed] from Combi Australia for the amazing customer service. Just moments after writing this review he responded. I then emailed him some photos of my baby in the stroller and [name removed] very quickly provided some great assistance in how to adjust the straps to provide optimum security and a bit more headroom. We can now comfortably use this stroller for a few more months although I am still not sure it is going to last until baby is 3 or 4. However as I mentioned, he is a bigger than average baby who is already wearing 1year old size clothes at just 12 weeks old.
[name removed] has also asked that I send more photos of my baby in the stroller at 6 months old and again at 18 months for research.
Also, we tested the travel case on a flight over the weekend. The case is fantastic, it fits in the basket in the bottom of the stroller when not in use and fits the stroller comfortably and easily. (and is a great price compared to other stroller bags... have you seen the price of the Stokke one?) The stroller survived the return flight without a single scratch.
I am really happy with the way Combi have responded to my concerns and I am still very happy we bought this stroller. Lightweight, compact, quick fold, great sunhood, reversible handle and comfortable A little tight for a toddler strapped in, in the lay flat position.
Love this pram so much – Love this pram so much. It was so light, that even at the end of my pregnancy i could lift it easily into the boot (cant say that about other more heavy prams!)
