Tried to increase price after order was placed and paid for. Still waiting on my refund! – After placing my order online and paying for it I received an email advising the price had gone up and i would need to pay $160 for my order to be completed. After various attempts to be reimbursed for my funds transfer it has now been a week and a half and contacting both the ACCC & Consumer Affairs Victoria i am still waiting on my refund.

Good printer but little bit hard to set up for guys who lack of IT knowledge – Got printer 1 day late than given time frame which is not too bad in my opinion. There are few issues with this printer. didn't read manual just put cd in, follow few prompts and done. But for this printer I actually had to read setup guide and wifi setting guide. But then you can't get any other printer at this cost. Overall printer works fine.

PayPal – Their PayPal system does not work. Because they add a surcharge to the invoice the two totals don't match so PayPal can't process the transaction. reviews were all bad, and while companies can improved it would be more believable if the had of been posted by long term members. Price The reviews seems manipulated.

Bad – I bought a PC from them in Jan '06. They were a little rude, however they were efficient in building the PC from the parts specified. 6 months later the video card I bought with the PC failed. recived a replacement video card as my original one had gone 'missing'. Cworld couldn't tell me when they sent it or where it went. Luckily I spoke to the Sydney store manager and got him to sign every bit of paperwork when i brought the card in. He replaced the card for a lesser version as the one I had originally (but failed to tell me). - God help you if you have to return anything. My advice leave CWorld alone, but if you do buy something and it turns out to be faulty don't expect anything back too soon. Get the store manger to sign off on everything so you can put it in their face when your part has gone 'missing' or is still "with the manufacturer". Don't accept poor service...... Convenient location, generally good prices and range of items. Very unprofessional customer service, returns process non-existent. Cannot find stocked items.

Terrible – I bought an Asus laptop from these guys a year back. After makimg me go to another store to pick up the laptop because of their screw up, I found that the monitor had a fault which resulted in the screen dulling at times but not all the time. would be sent out as they couldn't process credit card refunds. Said the refund cheque will be sent in 1 week as it needed to come out from Head Office in Dandenong. 1 week later, i follow up - the guy claims to not know why they are taking so long. 1.5 weeks later, again rang them - they say the matter is with head office. 2 weeks later i go into the store to try and settle this....they then say that their tech unit found nothing wrong with it. Conveniently, they further tell me that they have subsequently sold this unit to another customer at a discount because the packaging was opened and that that customer has not complained, proving their point that the unit was not faulty. As a result, I can't even prove show them that the unit was faulty because the unit is now onsold and they will now only refund me 85% of the original cost. I've been without a computer now for 3 weeks and have paid them in full - all $2k worth. After 2 more weeks of arguing with these clowns, ended up taking the matter to Consumer Affairs and the matter was finally resolved with me getting refunded except for $100. I could have taken it to the courts but this would have been a very painful process as I just wouldn't have the time.

These guys are crooks - BEWARE. Its worth paying a little bit more from honest oprators rather than these guys. Very competitive pricing. Very BAD service, will screw you if you ever need to get a refund/return. These guys are CROOKS.

Very fast delivery and bargain laser printer – Purchased Ricoh SP213Nw from CWorld about 2 pm and it was delivered in Melbourne metro about 4:30 pm that day. Well done! Had a bit of a problem with set up but CWorld staff helpful and Ricoh website had plenty of info. Great print quality. Will deal again with CWorld. Thanks.

Ricoh SP213NW Mono Laser printer Excellent printer – This is excellent printer very fast and useful printer. Very fast delivery. Perfect for home users. Very compact and efficient printer.

Terrific value, hard to beat – The printer did take about 1 week to come (which was as expected and fine). But it was a super-smooth transaction, no issues, and this is a great little printer at a terrific price.

Good Deal – Good communication despite there was a payment processing error which was rectified very quickly. Fast delivery even though the order was made during the holiday season. It was the best deal available across the country.

It can't get better than this! – Bought Laser Printer on Ebay at 22:23 on 23/12. Paid the $49 via bank transfer, sent bank receipt to Cworld. about Ricoh brand but glad I took a chance and returned my $70 Epson inkjet. For the $30 extra it was worth the superior print quality. The only downside is that it is not an all-in-one printer (ie. no scanning, faxing or copying). Going forward the cost of toners may cause a bit of pain at $100 per colour ($400 in total) but you do get over 1500 pages out of them.

The printer is about the same width as a standard inkjet but much higher, about 2.2 times higher. It is a little louder when printing compared to inkjets but its not intolerable. I can't imagine it being an issue unless you are printing all day long. The printer is quick to start and turn off - making loud noises when warming up for a few minutes.

The service - what can I say - it was Exceptional.!! Simon phoned after purchase to see if we had any issues which we did. We had trouble setting up wifi as we only have Apple products. Simon looked into it, sent us instructions and suggestions then followed it all up with a phone call just to double check. We followed his instructions and it worked. He has been a gem, easy to talk to and understand. 5 out of 5 for service. Will definitely buy from Computer World again. Keep it up.
