Good deal but unpleasant experience with recent dining experience – Bought a good deal dining voucher and booked through the system . However when arrived earlier at the restaurant, the staff was not aware of the booking and asked us to come back in 30 minutes despite there is not even a customer in the restaurant and the service was bad. Given a soft drink instead of 2 which was included in the deal. Very disappointed Show details

unprofessional. 'Word of mouth' is powerful advertising; Cudo should show much better customer service. After writing this review, I was eventually contacted by productreview.com.au who advised that Cudo would contact me and resolve the issue, but they have not. Very poor customer service!!

Hidden Accomodation Costs – You need to be very careful booking accomodation deals with Cudo. Most accomodation deals usually have Surcharges for weekends. It often makes your accomodation deal more expensive then just booking direct. Funnily enough people usually holiday over weekends so the cheap price is just to suck you into buying. now, Book Later'), then as time goes on days that were $0 extra to book now suddenly get extra surcharges and you'll find $0 booking days are now months away. It is price gouging for the hotels/Cudo to be happy to offer booking surcharges for $0 only to change to suddenly costing extra. One deal we have had heaps of $0 booking days when i first purchased it. Now when i jump on there isnt $0 booking fee until March 24 (6 months away)!! Definitely an issue we have reported to the ACCC. Accomodation Buyer BEWARE P.s. Cudo is also part of Luxury Escaps so beware on there to!

In a bid to resolve the matter, we attempted to reach Cudo immediately. However, it was frustratingly difficult to find an email address on their website, and our call to their customer service line while waiting at the restaurant went unanswered. We left a message, but it took them an entire hour for someone to attempt to call us. We wasted an evening, not to mention fuel and parking costs, thanks to Cudo's incompetence and unresponsiveness.

When I lodged a complaint with Cudo the next morning, it took them a full week to even begin their proper investigation to contact the restaurant to confirm our version of events. We were told by the restaurant that the restaurant does not receive any payment from Cudo until after the meal.

Only after ten days since my initial complaint, and only after blocking our card transaction and threatening legal action, did Cudo reluctantly provide a refund. This company seems to prioritise earning their commission from vouchers over providing basic customer service. It's evident they don't readily offer a refund as an option, contrary to ACCC consumer guarantee, unless you are adamantly persistent and are confident in your consumer rights.

For anyone considering by through using Cudo, here are two pieces of advice: 1. Pay with a credit card for added protection and the ability to block transactions if needed. 2. Stand firm with Cudo and don't hesitate to threaten legal action if they fail to actively resolve your complaint.

Our experience with Cudo was far from the hassle-free and enjoyable evening we had planned. Their lack of responsibility, poor communication, and inadequate customer service have been incredibly frustrating. Think twice before dealing with Cudo and whether the discount is worth the risk and possible regret and time-wasting.

Great value – Purchased a travel package on Cudo for Thailand. The package was incredible value with all inclusive dining and drinks. I had some inquiries so I contacted customer service . Great customer service – Great support team and customer service. Customers would suffer lost if this team was not around. However your website require some updates as it will not allow to proceed to book dates after purchasing a package buy now and book later. Logon issues – Had forgotten my password and had trouble attempting to change. Requested a 'forgotten password'. Got an email asking me to change password. Entered new password and got a failure message. Mikayla C helped me by offering a workaround. We tried that and it worked. Was able to get in and have a look at some trip deals. We certainly appreciated the courtesy, patience & goodwill of Lorain M. the Cudo contact person. If all complaints/ misunderstanding were treated in a similar manner the retail world would contain happy customers for receiving service with courtesy.

Blue beach umbrella – I did not realise that my purchase was coming from America so naturally I was concerned at how long it would take and if I would get any updates. Assistance with expired vouchers during lock down – After submitting a query related to a car wash voucher that had expired during Victoria's lock down 6, the Cudo customer service team member, Charmaine, approached the vendor and was able to secure an extension so that the voucher would still be honoured.
